Chinese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2017;52(7):449-454
Objective To comparison of the safety of two treatment methods of cesarean scar pregnancy (CSP) of typeⅡ and Ⅲ in menopause within 7 weeks. Methods Totally 70 cases of CSP of typeⅡ and Ⅲ within 7 weeks of the last menstrual period, hospitalized within Peking University First Hospital from January 2009 to May 2016, had been retrospectively studied in two groups of different treatments. The methotrexate (MTX) treatment group included 37 cases receiving ultrasound-guided complete curettage of uterine cavity combined with MTX therapy, while the uterine artery embolization (UAE) group had 33 cases treated with UAE combined with MTX therapy and subsequent ultrasound-guided complete curettage of uterine cavity. The bleeding measurements during operation had been documented and compared for the study. Results The comparative difference of bleeding measurements between the MTX treatment group and the UAE group was insignificant from the statistical perspective (median: 5.0 vs 5.0 ml, P=0.716).The comparative difference of the duration (median: 2.0 vs 6.0 days, P<0.01) and expenses (median: 2832.1 vs 10147.1 yuan, P<0.01) for hospitalization between the MTX treatment group and the UAE group were significant from the statistical perspective. Conclusions The bleeding risks may not increase during the treatment of ultrasound-guided complete curettage of uterine cavity combined with MTX therapy for CSP patients of type Ⅱ and Ⅲwithin 7 weeks of the last menstrual period. Meanwhile, the UAE adverse effects and complications will be avoided, and the duration and expenses for hospitalization will be reduced.

OBJECTIVE:To optimize the extraction technology of polyphenols from Juglans regia branch and evaluate its anti-oxidant activity in vitro. METHODS:Using extraction amount of polyphenols from J. regia branch as response value,solvent-solid ratio, extraction temperature and ethanol volume fraction as response factors, based on single factor test, response surface method was used to optimize the extraction technology of polyphenols from J. regia branch. Using vitamin C as positive control,scaveng-ing on hydroxyl radicals and 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH)radicals and total reducing activities of polyphenols from J. re-gia branch were investigated. And its antioxidant activity in vitro was evaluated. RESULTS:Optimized extraction conditions for polyphenols from J. regia branch was as follow as solid-liquid ratio of 1:25(g/mL),extraction temperature of 50 ℃,ethanol vol-ume fraction of 70%. The extraction amount of polyphenols from J. regia branch was 9.30 mg/g(RSD=0.57%,n=3)in the veri-fication test. Clearance rate on hydroxyl radicals and DPPH radicals and total reducing activity of polyphenols from J. regia branch were respectively 50.24%,95.42%,1.118 when it was under the mass concentration of 12.0,3.0,3.0μg/mL;and the related data of vitamin C was 93.71%,46.17%,0.628 under the same mass concentration(P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Extraction technology of polyphenols from J. regia branch optimized by response surface method is stable and feasible;polyphenols from J. regia branch shows certain antioxidant activity in vitro.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(07):-
Objective This paper has discussed the antibacterial、 antiviral and degrading poison property of TiO2 nanometer spray in air cleaning. Methods Viable count was carried out, the inactivation on hepatitis B antigen (HbsAg) and the degradation of formaldehyde were detected. Results The results demonstrated that the inactivation to Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli were over 99%. Bacillus subtilis var. niger, Candida albicans and hepatitis B antigen(HbsAg) were inactivated to a certain extent. The spray may be used for degrading the formaldehyde in the indoor air. Conclusions These two kinds of TiO 2 nanometer spray may, to a certain extent, inactivate the pathogenic bacteria and HbsAg, and may degrade formaldehyde.

Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2008;7(6):412-413
This report was to retrospectively analyze clinical data of 29 hyperthyroid patients with concurrent hematocytopenia. Our findings demonstrated that 5 patients developed cytopenia without any antithyroidism drugs(ATDs),while the other 24 cytopenia patients were only found after taking ATD.In the drug intervention group,17 patients received methimazole(MMI)and 7 took propylthiouracil(PTU).Most cytopenia was dose-dependent and occurred within the first 6 months of medication.Twenty subjects received radioiodine therapy, with no impact on blood cells. We suggested that cytopenia might occur at the early stage of ATD therapy and be related with drug and its dose.Blood cell amount should be monitored, especially for initial ATD therapy. As for interaction between PTU and MMI,alternative radioiodine therapy might seem to be relatively safe.

AIM: To detect surface electromyogram (EMG) signal accurately.METHODS: How to reduce noise in the detection of surface EMG signal was discussed. It has been explored to design an electrode unit by using methods of differential amplification, active electrode, filter and so on , andto investigate the electrode shape and the right placing method.RESULTS: The instrumentation amplifier AD620 was adopted to design a bipolar active electrode, which has been successfully used in the surface EMG detection.CONCLUSION: Experiments show that using active electrode can improve ratio of signal and noise, reduce noise and detect surface EMG signal effectively.

Microbiology 2001;(1):18-22
A themostable intracellular β-galactosidase from a thermophilic Bacillus stearothermophilus was purified by a combination of (NH4)2SO4 fractionation, ion-exchange (DEAE-22)and gel filtration (Sephades G-75). The optimum temperature and pH of the enzyme acivity were 60Cand pH6.4 respectively. The β-galatosidase activity exhibited thermosttability at 50 C. The enzyme was significaantly activated by alkali and alkali-earth metal ions. The activity was inhibited by Zn2+ 、 Fe3+ 、 Cu2+Reducing agents enhanced β- galactosidase activity. Thiol-binding agents drastically decreased the enzyme activity. The enzyme was specific for β-D glycosidic linkages, and the identity of the aglycone moiety also influenced enzyme activity. At 55Cthe Km for O-nitrophenyl-β-D-galactosidase (ONPG)and lactose were 2. 63mmol/L and 4.39mmol/L, respectively, and Vmax for both substrates were 1.93 × 10-5mmol. min-1 mg-1protein6.54 ×105 mmol. min-1. mg-1protein,respectively. The enzyme was inhibited by glucose (the products of lactose hydrolysis,ki 2.47mmol/L),but not by galactose. In addition, the enzyme possessed transgalactosylation activity. Galacto-oligosaccharides,both tri- and tetrasaccharide, were involved in the products during lactose hydrolysi

Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Medical Sciences) 2010;30(2):165-9
Little is reported about the role of PTEN gene in the progression and prognosis of GISTs. This study examined the clinical implications of the tumor suppressor gene PTEN as a prognostic factor in the GISTs. Immunohistological staining and immunoblotting were employed to examine the PTEN protein expression, and its association with clinical measures. Clinicopathological features were reviewed by a retrospective examination of medical records. Reduced PTEN expression was significantly associated with tumor diameter, mitotic figure count, metastasis and pathological stage of tumor (P<0.05), and was not correlated with age, gender and tumor location (P>0.05). The 3-year survival rate of the patients with reduced PTEN expression was significantly lower than those with high PTEN expression (P<0.01). These results suggest that the expression of PTEN gene was significantly linked with the progression and metastasis of GISTs and it is an independent prognostic factor.
