1.Sequeutial and concurrent chemo-radio therapy for stage Ⅲ non-small cell lung cancer

With the development of medical technology,methods for treatment of lung cancer gradually diversified.Radiotherapy and chemotherapy have gradually become the main methods of treatment.Clinical study have found that simply adopting one kind of treatment,cannot achieve ideal control,with the result of low 5 year survival rate,and high recurrence rate and metastasis.Combining chemotherapy and radiotherapy,can achieve better effect than that by using single method of treatment,as non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is particularly sensitive to the chemotherapy.Recent clinical findings indicate that treating late NSCLC patients with combined therapy methods could achieve significant clinical effect.
2.Clinical practice guideline for chronic myelogenous leukemia and its practice in China

Imatinib mesylate,as the first generation Bcr-Abl tyrosine kinase inhibitor,has brought revolutionary treatment for Philadelphia chromosome (Ph)-positive chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML);it has been recommended as the first-line treatment for CML by NCCN Practice Guidelines in Oncology in 2008 and European LeukemiaNet(ELN) criteria.However,imatinib has three limitations:first,it is expensive and can not be stopped if efficancy to be maintained;Second,some 20%~30% of patients develope resistance to imatinib;and third,the CML patients can not be cured with imatinib.Taking into consideration of the situation in China,we recommend individual therapy using TKI,HSCT,interferon and cytotoxic drugs for CML patients in China.
3.Study of primary cells of breast cancer with special immune response induced by CIK co-cultured with self-dendritic cells

Objective To investigate effect to kill primary breast cancer cells by dendritic cell (DC)with self-freeze thawing antigens of primary breast cancer cells co-cultured with cytokine induced killer cell (CIK). Methods Self-neoplasm antigen by primary cells of breast cancer in log phase growth was prepared and DC and CIK cells was cultured from peripheral blood. The CIK of co-cultured DC loaded self-neoplasm antigen was compared to PBMC, CIK cells with self-neoplasm antigen and the single CIK cells. Results Killing efficiency of PBMC, CIK, Ag-CIK and Ag-DC-CIK were (34.35±3.28) %, (45.91±2.78) %, (50.88±3.22) %, (62.10±5.94) %. There were significant difference between Ag-DC-CIK group and CIK-Ag and CIK group to primary cells of breast cancer (P <0.01). Conclusion The CIK induced from cocultured DC loaded with self-neoplasm antigen show a special killing activity to self-primary tumor cells.
4.Influence of histone deacetylase inhibitor romidepsin on phenotype and function of T lymphocytes in vitro

[ ABSTRACT] AIM:To explore the effects of romidepsin ( FK228) , a novel histone deacetylase inhibitor, on the effector and regulatory T cells in vitro.METHODS:As the reactive cells, lymphocytes, CD4 +T cells and CD8 +T cells were labelled with CFSE, and stimulated with anti-CD3 and anti-CD28 mAbs in the presence and absence of different levels of romidepsin (experimental group and positive control group), or PBS (placebo group).After 72 h, the proliferation of the cells was detected in different groups.The lymphocytes were stimulated with anti-CD3 and anti-CD28 mAbs in the pres-ence and absence of different levels of romidepsin ( experimental group and positive control group ) , or PBS ( placebo group) .After 72 h, the percentage of CD4+Foxp3 +T cells and the levels of related cytokines were detected in different groups.RESULTS:The proliferation of CFSE-labelled lymphocytes, CD4 +T cells and CD8+T cells triggered by anti-CD3 and anti-CD28 mAbs all were inhibited when cultured with romidepsin at concentrations of 1 μmol/L, 3 μmol/L and 5 μmol/L in a dose-dependent manner (P<0.05).Compared with placebo group, in the presence of anti-CD3 and anti-CD28 mAbs, 1 μmol/L romidepsin did not increase the percentage of CD4 +Foxp3 +T cells ( P>0.05 ) .When cultured with romidepsin at concentrations of 3 μmol/L and 5 μmol/L, the percentage of CD4 + Foxp3 +T cells was enhanced markedly ( P<0.05) .The levels of IL-10 and TNF-αin the supernatant were markedly increased in positive control group
and 3 experimental groups ( P<0.05 ) , and the levels of cytokines in different experimental groups were gradually de-creased with the elevation of FK228 concentration (P<0.05).The level of TGF-βwas slightly increased in positive con-trol group with no significant difference compared with placebo group (P>0.05).With the increase in the concentration of FK228 in different experimental groups, the TGF-βlevel was increased in a dose-dependent manner and there were signifi-cant differences in the 3 experimental groups.Meanwhile, significant differences existed between experimental groups and placebo group and between experimental groups and positive control group (P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Romidepsin in-hibits the proliferation of CD4 +and CD8 +effector T cells and increases the percentage of CD4 +Foxp3 +regulatory T cells. It may be related to the increased level of TGF-β, but independent of IL-10.
5.Reductive mammoplasty: an approach of periareolar incision with glandular flap suspension and its contour-line circum-contraction suture.

Objective To introduce an improved technique of periareolar incision mammoplasty using gland flap suspending and contour line circum-contraction suturing. Methods Through the periareolar incision, dissection was conducted between the subcutaneous tissue and the glandular tissue to detach the skin flap tent from the gland cone. A vertical glandular flap was formed in the upper portion to suspend the gland, with the gland tissue partially excised medial and lateral to the vertical glandular flap. Continuous contour line circum-contraction suturing was made for 2~3 rounds step by step from the cone bottom to the plateau, i.e. the nipple areola level. The suturing proceeded alternately from the flap tent to the glandular cone. Finally, the skin was sutured along the areolar incision. Results Sixteen breasts of eight patients were operated on using the present technique, including 10 cases of macromastia and 6 of breast ptosis. Satisfactory results were achieved with pretty breast shape and inconspicuous periareolar scar. Conclusion The contour line circum-contraction suturing periareolar incision mammoplasty is an optimal choice for moderate macromastia and breast ptosis.
6.Status quo of iron supplementation before pregnancy and during pregnancy and its influence on anemia in pregnant and lying-in women*

Objective To understand the status quo of the iron supplementation before pregnancy and during pregnancy and its influence on anemia in pregnant and lying-in women .Methods By adopting the stratified random sampling method ,the pregnant women with at least 37-week pregnancy or lying-in women during puerperium with hospital delivery in the midwifery institutions , moreover taking at least once blood routine examination during pregnancy or on 3 -7 d after delivery ,were taken as the research subjects .The questionnaire investigation and blood testing were applied to understand their status quo of iron supplementation and anemia .Results 2 019 pregnant and lying-in women wer einvestigated .Among them ,32 .19% of pregnant and lying-in women had the iron supplementation before pregnancy or during pregnancy .The period and frequency of iron supplementation were mainly the pregnant period and once a day .91 .54% of iron supplementation was conducted under the doctor′s guidance .The prevalence of ane-mia in the pregnant women with iron supplementation was lower than that in the pregnant women without iron supplementation . Conclusion Iron supplementation can be effective in preventing anemia of pregnant and lying-in women .It is suggested that scien-tific and rational iron supplements should be performed from prepregnancy to throughout pregnant period for reducing the occur-rence of anemia .
8.Research advances on dermal stratum corneum and its injury

Stratum corneum,the outermost layer of the mammalian skin, has its unique structural,biophysical and biochemical characteristics.The form of stratum corneum is a continuous sheath of protein-enriched corneocytes embedded in an intercellular matrix enriched in nonpolar specialized lipids.It provides an impermeable barrier from exogenous noxious substances and prevents the body from transdermal water loss.Recent researches suggest that its morphological and functional abnormalities can be induced by various environmental effects such as ultraviolet radiation,mechanical friction,organic solvents,etc.However,the mechanism of the injury-repair process remains unclear.Several cytokines and ceramide may be involved in the regulation.
9.The Study of Red Cell Immune Function in Children With Asthma

Objective To explore the change of the red blood cell(RBC) immunoadhensive function in children with asthma and the effect of glucocorticoid on RBC immunoadhensive function.Methods The rosette rate of RBC-C3b receptor(RBC-C3bRR) and rosette rate of RBC-Immunocomplex(RBC-ICR) were measured by using yeast rosette method in 42 children with asthma,20 healthy children(control group),and 28 asthmatic children in remission period were measured also by the same methods after one month and six months of glucocorticoid inhalation therapy.Results The levels of RBC-C3bRR were lower in asthma group than that in remission group and control group(P0 05).Conclusions RBC immunoadhensive function has shown significant decrease in asthmatic children;and it may be improved by using glucocorticoid inhalation therapy in asthmatic children at remission period.
10.A case-control study of therapy of amifostine plus chemotherapy on acute myeloid leukemia consolidation

Objective To investigate the protective effect of normal hematopoietic and without causing the increase of relapse rate of amifostine in patients with acute myeloid chemotherapy.Methods One hundred and forty-two acute myeloid leukemia(AML) patients were selected and divided into combination group(n =56) and chemotherapy alone group (n =86).Hematological toxicity and non-hematologic toxicity,response rate,duration of response of patients were prospective,non-randomized,case-control study.Results Fifty-six patients in combined group included 30 male and 26 female patients,and 18 patients in high risk stage and 32 patients in intermediate risk stage and 6 patients in low risk.The median age was (35.14 ± 14.42) year in combination group.Chemotherapy alone group included 58 male 28 female patients,and 14 patients in high risk and 64 patients in intermediate risk and 8 patients in low risk.The median age was (46.58 ± 16.99) year.There were no significant difference between two groups in terms of gender (P =0.318) and risk stage(P =0.262).But more young patients were in combination group compared with chemotherapy alone group and there was significant difference(P =0.004).In combination group,42.9% (24 cases)patients got high Ara-C dose and 32.1% (18 cases) patients got high HAA dose chemotherapy compared with control group (14.9% (12 cases)and 20.9% (18 cases)).The during periods of platelet with <20 × 109/L in combination was 0(0,7) day,lower than that in chemotherapy alone group (9 (4,14),P =0.01).Meanwhile the volume of platelet infusion in combination group was less than that in chemotherapy alone group and the nadir of platelet4(0(0,3) U vs.4(1,6) U,P =0.02).No statistic difference was found in two groups regarding of non-hematological side effects and the relapse rate (before and after treatment,combination group:96.4% (54/56) ; Chemotherapy alone group:98.8 % (85/86) ; P=0.062).Conclusion Amifostine may provide protection for AML patients,can short duration of thrombocytopenia,reduce platelet transfusions,and other side effect was no significant difference.
