1.A review on the effects of health insurance on health status
Chinese Journal of Health Policy 2015;(2):41-45
This paper reviews studies on the relationship between health insurance and health status both at home and abroad. First, we put forward three viewpoints on their relationship;Second, based on different data, we review the studies from three different perspectives; Third, we review the recent studies at home. The paper draws the conclusion as following:(1) most studies on observational data prove that there is relationship between health in-surance and health status. To establish the causal relationship between them, we must overcome the endogeneity of health insurance. ( 2 ) Different studies have different conclusions, which are caused by different methodology and subjects. (3)The conclusions cannot be generalized to whole populations. Future studies should focus on the effect of different health insurance on different populations.

BACKGROUND: The relationship between liver cancer recurrence and hepatitis B virus recurrence remains poorly understood and it is considered to be related to application of immunosuppressive agent after liver transplantation. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of tacrolimus (FK506) on the proliferation of HepG2.2.15 cells and the replication of hepatitis B virus in vitro. METHODS: HepG2.2.15 cells were in vitro cultured. After passage 3 HepG2.2.15 cells were cultured for 24 hours, they were interfered with different concentrations of FK506. 0 g/L FK506-interfered group served as control group, 50 g/L FK506-interfered group as low-concentration FK506 group, 100 g/L or 500 g/L FK506-interfered group as medium-concentration FK506 group, and 1 000 g/L or 3 000 g/L FK506-interfered group as high-concentration FK506 group. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Moderate- and high-concentration FK506 exhibited inhibitory effects on the proliferation of HepG2.2.15 cells, while low-concentration FK506 exhibited no inhibitory effects with correlation. High-concentration FK506 made HepG2.2.15 cells arresting at G0/G1 stage. FK506 decreased CyclinA expression in HepG2.2.15 cells in a dose-dependent manner. Higher concentration of FK506 leaded to lower expression of CyclinA. FK506 did not produce effects on the replication of hepatitis B virus in HepG2.2.15 cells. These results indicate that FK506 inhibits the proliferation of HepG2.2.15 cells in vitro, which occurs possibly due to Cyclin A, but it would not affect the replication of hepatitis B virus in vitro.

Objective In the treatment of tumor with high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU),the acoustic pressure distribution determines the safety and reliability of HIFU.It is necessary to predict the acoustic field produced by HIFU transducer. Methods To analyze the acoustic pressure distribution of HIFU generated by different excitation frequency and variable incentive power, comparison was made between the acoustic pressure simulated by finite difference time domain (FDTD) method and the ones measured by experiments.ResultsThe resultsshowed that the pressureat focalpoint increasedwiththe increasing of excitation power, while the change in the focal length was negligible. The focal point moved towards the transducer with the frequency increasing until the maximum sound pressure was gained at the resonant frequency (RF).Conclusion The simulation results are consistent with the experiment results, indicating that the acoustic fields can be predicted by simulation.

Objective To investigate the effect of liraglutide on the expression of NF-kappa B (NF-κB), tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) in renal tissue of insulin resistance rats. Method The rats were divided into 4 groups, control group ,high fat group ,liraglutide low dose group [100 μg/(kg· d)], liraglutide high dose group[100 μg/(kg·d)]. Detection of serum creatinine and urea nitrogen by automatic biochemical analyzer, and 24 h urine micro albumin was determined by immunoassay. The protein concentration of serum NF-κB,TNF-α and IL-6 was measured by ELISA. The expression of NF-κB,TNF-α and IL-6 mRNA in renal tissues was determined by RT-PCR. Results Compared with the control group, the serum creatinine, blood urea nitrogen, urinary protein, and the expression of NF-κB, TNF-α and IL-6 were significantly higher in high fat group, respectively (P < 0.05). The glomerular basement membrance thickening and foot process fusion were seen under electron microscope. Liraglutide high dose intervention can significantly reduce these changes. Conclusions Liraglutide can inhibit the expression of NF-κB,TNF-α and IL-6 in renal tissues of high fat induced insulin resistance rats,in a concentration dependent manner, which possibly improve renal function.

Objective To explore the clinical application of adaptive support ventilation (ASV) in elderly patients with acute respiratory failure. Methods A total of 46 mechanically ventilated patients aged over 65 years with acute respiratory failure admitted from January 2013 to June 2015 were enrolled.Comparison between the ASV mode and synchronized intermittent mandatory ventilation (SIMV) mode was carried out in respects of the impacts of both modes on respiratory mechanics, hemodynamics, oxygen availability and comfort rate. Results Difference between ASV and SIMV in respiratory rate was [(20.84 ±4.04) vs.(24.50 ±4.60) cycles/min, t =4.04, P <0.05], in inspiratory resistance was [(13.24 ±4.76) vs.(16.54±5.25) cmH2O/ (L·s), t=3.16, P<0.05], in mean airway pressure was [(13.58±2.58) vs.(16.63 ±1.57) mmHg, t =6.84, P<0.05], in peak airway pressure was [(25.96 ± 3.69) vs.(27.87 ± 2.45) mmHg, t =2.92, P < 0.05], and tidal volume was [(378.41 ± 85.61) vs.(341.52 ± 86.84) mL, t =2.05, P < 0.05], and comfort rate of patients was increased in ASV mode. There were no statistically significant differences in arterial oxygen partial pressure, carbon dioxide partial pressure, lactate, heart rate, mean arterial pressure and central venous pressure between the two modes (PP > 0.05).Conclusions Compared with the synchronized intermittent mandatory ventilation mode, the adaptive support ventilation mode can improve the respiratory mechanics and can increase the comfort rate in the elderly patients with mechanical ventilation.

Objective:To investigate the animal model of guinea pig chronic heart failure and compensatory hypertrophy. Methods:Thirteen chronic heart failure models were made by placing a constricting band around the ascending aorta of guinea pigs, raised in the same house of 10 normal guinea pigs. The contrasting indexes in 6 weeks include: clinical features, hemodynamics, the mass ratio of ventricular over body, the width of left ventriculat hypertrophy. Results:One model died, 4 models without dyspnea showed increasing in left ventricular pressure and the mass ratio of ventricular over body, whereas the left ventricular end diastolic pressure showecl no significant different. Eight models with dyspnea showed striking increasing in left ventricular pressure and left ventricular end diastolic pressure, as well as the mass ratio of ventricular over body and the width of left ventricular hypertrophy. Conclusion:The animal model of guinea pig chronic heart failure and compensatory hypertrophy may be formed by constricting the ascending aortas of guinea pigs for 6 weeks.

Objective:To comprehensively evaluate the intrinsic and external quality, and explore the grading of gypsum pieces. Methods:The characteristics, contents of main components and trace elements and X-diffraction exclusive characteristic peaks of gyp-sum pieces from different origins were detected. Combined with the market grading, the grading standard for gypsum pieces was further improved. Results:According to the tested indices, gypsum pieces were graded into two classes:excellent pieces and common decoc-tion pieces. Conclusion:The study shows reference value for guiding the market grading of gypsum pieces.
