132 medical students were selected and divided into two sections. One was the experimental group using scene play teaching method, the other was the contrast group using traditional teaching methods. And a contrast research between them was conducted. The result showed that the experimental group's grades of theory and practice were more excellent than the contrast group, which shows that the scene play teaching method excels the traditional teaching method and is worth further promoting.
3.BRAF oncogene in malignant melanoma
Journal of International Oncology 2012;39(10):781-783
BRAF gene has the highest mutation rate and plays an important role in the occurrence, development, invasion and metastasis of melanoma. The frequency of the mutation varies in different clinical phenotypes, clinical pathology classifications and stages of malignant melanoma, which indicate a certain association of BRAF gene with the growth and prognosis judgment in malignant melanoma.BRAF gene mutation is the new direction of treatment in malignant melanoma molecular target therapy.
4.Diagnosis and treatment of acute paralysis in children
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2011;18(5):394-396
Acute paralysis is one of commonest childhood neurological diseases with multiple etiologies. The hand foot mouth disease, intracranial infection, stroke and so forth become the main causes of acute paralysis.Timely treatment of the primary disease and early implementation of the motor function rehabilitation can prevent and decrease motor disability.
5.EFFECTS OF CILIARY NEUROTROPHIC FACTOR ON CELL CYCLE AND EXPRESSION OF Fos PROTEIN IN ASTROCYTES IN VITRO
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1957;0(04):-
Objective To explore the effects of ciliary neurotrophic factor on cell cycle and expression of Fos protein in cultured astrocytes from cerebral cortex of rat in vitro Methods Astrocytes from cerebral cortex of rat were cultured in vitro. The cultured astrocytes were treated with ciliary neurotrophic factor(CNTF),and then cell cycle was measured by flow cytometer and Fos protein was examined by means of immunocytochemistry at different intervals. Results At 6h following CNTF treatment, astrocytes cell cycle process was promoted obviously, the percentage of cell in G-1/G-0 cycle phase was reduced, while that of G-2/M and proliferation index(PI) increased. The proliferous effect peaked at 12h,and then gradually declined at 24h,48h,but PI was higher than that of control group. The expression of Fos protein was enhanced from 2h to 24h after CNTF treatment, the pretreatment of dexamethasone inhibited the expression of Fos protein. Conclusion CNTF may promote proliferation and the expression of Fos protein in astrocytes.
6.Changes in mRNA levels of cardiac α1-adrenergic receptor and angiotensin Ⅱ receptor subtypes with aging in rats
Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2008;27(9):697-701
Objective To examine the expression levels of α1-adrenergie receptor(α1-AR)and angiotensinⅡ reeeptor(ATR)subtypes in left ventricle of rats from adolescent age, middle age, presenium to senium. Methods Semiquantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was used to quantitate the messenger RNA (mRNA) of α1-AR and ATR subtypes in left ventricle in Wistar rats aged 3-months (adolescent age), 12-months (middle age), 18-months (presenium) and 24-months (senium). Results The expression of α1A-AR mRNA was decreased gradually with aging, and the gene expression of α1 D-AR was repressed in middle age and presenium, while the expression of a,B-AR mRNA remained unchanged during senescence. Cardiac AT1R expression was not affected by aging from adolescent age to presenium, but exhibited a remarkable up-regulation in senium There was no significant discrepancies of cardiac AT2R expression among the four different age groups. Conclusions The results suggest that there are considerable changes in mRNA levels of cardiac α1-AR and ATR subtypes with aging. The change of cardiac α1-AR and ATR expression during aging is a protective response for senescence and has an important significance in maintaining normal physiological functions of heart.
7.Non-coding small RNA and melanoma
Journal of International Oncology 2017;44(7):541-543
Non-coding small RNA mainly includes microRNA, small interfering RNA and RNA interacting with PIWI protein.Studies have shown that non-coding small RNA plays an increasingly important role in the epigenetic regulation.Non-coding small RNA is involved in the regulation of gene expression by gene transcription, post-transcription and mRNA translation.Non-coding small RNA is closely related to many human diseases, especially the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of melanoma.
8.Correlation study of the unplanned extubation caused by peripherally inserted central catheter in neonates with different tip postions
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2017;33(9):675-678
Objective To investigate the incidence of the peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) complications in neonates. Methods A retrospective analysis of PICC in 201 cases in our neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) from January 2015 to October 2016, who were divided into the central group and non-central group according to the position of the catheter tip. Compare unplanned extubation rate, catheter-related bloodstream infection rate, catheter indwelling time of PICC catheter and removing reasons between these two groups. Results One hundred and sixty-five cases in central group and thirty-six cases in non-central group. The unplanned extubation rate of the central group was 18.2% (30/165) while 22.2% (8/36) of non-central group, the difference wasnot statistically significant (χ2=0.315, P=0.639). The difference of the catheter-related bloodstream infection rate (P=0.471), the catheter indwelling time and removing reasons between these two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05). Conclusions Even if the position of PICC tip is not in superior or inferior vena, it still can be used in neonatal population, but should pay attention to safe medical care.
