Objective To explore the prenatal indications and pregnant outcome of balanced transloca-tion at amniocentesis, so as to provide scientific guidelines of prenatal diagnosis for local pregnant women. Methods Retrospective review was made on 76 cases of balanced translocation at amniocentesis from 2011 to 2015 at our hospital. Results In 76 cases, 38 cases were aged pregnancy prenatally, 20 cases carriers, 9 cas-es abnormal serum screening , 5 cases with previous abnormal births , 2 cases with abnormal ultrasound findings and 2 cases with other problems. Conclusion Balanced translocation concomitant aneuploidy , de novo X-auto-some translocation or de novo complex chromosome rearrangements can cause fetal abnormalities on prenatal di-agnosis. The results of ultrasound, FISH and array-CGH could provide for de novo simple translocation at amnio-centesis.

Objective: To summarize the characteristics of arrhythmia with the relevant factors affecting its prognosis in patients of apical hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (AHCM). Methods: A total 283 AHCM patients with echocardiography or cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) conifrmed diagnosis in our hospital from 2005-01 to 2012-08 were summarized. The patients were divided into 2 groups: With arrhythmia group, n=103 and Without arrhythmia group,n=180. The endpoint event was followed-up by clinical and telephone visits in both groups and the relevant risk factors affecting AHCM prognosis were investigated by Cox regression analysis. Results: There were 269 patients ifnished the follow-up investigation, 98 in With arrhythmia group, 171 in Without arrhythmia group, and the death rate was 4.08% vs 1.17%, the occurrence of endpoint event was 18.37% vs 5.58%respectively. Cox regression analysis indicated that age (HR=23.051, 95% CI 1.08-1.068,P<0.005), left atrial diameter (HR=4.113, 95%CI 1.002-1.119,P=0.043) and NT-proBNP (HR= 18.653, 95% CI 3.433-26.650,P<0.005) were the independent risk factors affecting prognosis in AHCM patients. Conclusion: Arrhythmia is one of the common presentations of AHCM, it does not have much impact on survival, while it may cause ventricular ifbrillation and increase the occurrence of cardiovascular events.

Objective To study the protective effect of chlorogenic acid(CGA)on the apoptosis of PC12 cells induced byβ-amyloid protein23-35(Aβ25-35)and its mechanism. Methods The cells model of death was estab-lished by Aβ25-35 (20 μmol/L)-induced PC12 cells. The cells were interfered with 5 different concentrations of CGA. CCK-8 assay was used to detect cells viability to determine the 3 concentrations of CGA in future experi-ments. The cells were divided randomly into control group ,model group and interference groups with 3 different concentrations of CGA. Cells apoptosis rates were detected by flow cytometry;colorimetry method was used to detect MDA,SOD and GSH-Px. The mitochondrial membrane potential(MMP)was detected by fluorescent staining and the expression of caspase-3 by western blot. Results Compared with model group, the cells viability of CGA groups were increased but the apoptosis rates were reduced;the activity of SOD and GSH-Px were increased but the level of MDA,MMP and caspase-3 were decreased(P<0.05). Conclusions CGA has a protective effect on Aβ25-35-induced PC12 cells apoptosis and it may be related to the improvement of cellular antioxidation capacity and mitochondrial damage.

BACKGROUND:The low oxygen environment after femoral fracture and cerebral trauma wil induce series of related cytokines expression, including hypoxia-inducible factor 1αand core binding factorα1, which play key roles in regulating bone healing. However, whether the accelerated bone healing is correlated with the expression of hypoxia-inducible factor 1αand core binding factorα1 is stil unknown.
OBJECTIVE:To construct rat models of brain injury, to compare the expression level of hypoxia-inducible factor 1αand core binding factorα1 in femoral fracture combined with cerebral trauma rats and simple femoral fracture rats, and to assess the influence of cerebral trauma on bone healing.
METHODS:Rats were randomly divided into blank group, simple femoral fracture group and femoral fracture combined with cerebral trauma group. At 1, 2, 3 and 5 weeks after modeling, rats were executed. Bone healing was evaluated using femoral fracture end X-ray score and hematoxylin and eosin staining at cal us tissues. Besides, the expression levels of hypoxia-inducible factor 1αand core binding factorα1 of three groups were determined with immunohistochemistry.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Bone healing in the femoral fracture combined with cerebral trauma group was better than that of simple femoral fracture group. There was significant difference in the expression level of hypoxia-inducible factor 1αand core binding factorα1 between the simple femoral fracture group and femoral fracture combined with cerebral trauma group (P<0.05). At the same time, the level of simple femoral fracture group and femoral fracture combined with cerebral trauma group was significantly higher than that of blank group, and that in femoral fracture combined with cerebral trauma group was significantly higher than that of simple femoral fracture group (P<0.05). Results verified that the expression levels of hypoxia-inducible factor 1αand core binding factorα1 of rats with femoral fracture combined with cerebral trauma were significantly high, which may be the major reason why the bone healing was accelerated after fracture combined with brain injury.

To explore the relationship between blood level of big endothelin and contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CI-AKI) in patients with emergent percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods: A total of 1061 consecutive patients received emergent PCI in our hospital from 2013-01 to 2015-06 were enrolled. According to blood levels of big endothelin, the patients were divided into 2 groups: Normal big endothelin group, n=236 and Elevated big endothelin group, n=825. The baseline condition, procedural features, occurrence rate of CI-AKI and composite endpoint events at 6 and 12 months post-operation were studied which including nonfatal myocardial infarction, revascularization, stroke and all-cause death. The risk factors for CI-AKI occurrence were identified by Logistic analysis. Results: The overall occurrence rate of CI-AKI was 22.7% (241/1061). Compared with Normal big endothelin group, Elevated big endothelin group had the higher incidence of CI-AKI, increased composite endpoint events at 6 and 12 months post-operation with P=0.041, P=0.040 and P=0.021, respectively. With adjusted covariates, elevated blood level of big endothelin, no matter as a continuous variable or categorical variable had the enhanced risk of CI-AKI incidence in patients after emergent PCI. Conclusion: Elevated blood level of big endothelin may significantly increase the risk of CI-AKI in patients with emergent PCI.

Objective:
To analyze the urban-rural disparity of childhood stunting and its association with subnational economic growth among Chinese Han students aged 7-18 years.
Methods:
We used the data from 2014 Chinese National Survey on Students′ Constitution and Health. 213 940 Chinese Han students aged 7-18 years with complete height records were included in this study. Stunting was defined according to the Screening Criteria of Malnutrition for School-age Children and Adolescents(2014 version, in Chinese). We divided students into two groups (economically developed and underdeveloped areas) according to the provincial GDP per capita. Spearman correlation coefficient was used to explore the association between the difference of urban-rural stunting prevalence and the provincial GDP per capita. Logistic regression models were established to assess the risk of stunting in rural children compared with urban children.
Results:
Among 213 940 students, 107 033 (50.0%) were from urban areas. The average height of 7-18 years old and 18 years old [(152.9±15.7) and (166.1±8.7) cm] of urban students were both higher than those of rural students [(150.7±16.0) and (165.1±8.6) cm] (

Chinese Journal of School Health 2019;40(6):878-881
Objective:
To describe the subnational disparity of anemia among Chinese Han students aged 7-14 years, and to provide a reference for making intervention measures to improve anemia among Chinese children.
Methods:
A total of 71 115 Chinese Han students aged 7-14 years were selected from the project ‘2014 Chinese National Survey on Students’ Constitution and Health'. Anemia and its severity were defined according to the diagnosis criteria of World Health Organization (WHO). The rank sum test was used to compare anemia distribution of different subgroups. Logistic regression models were established to analyze the influencing factors of anemia and moderate-to-severe anemia.
Results:
In the 71 115 students with measured hemoglobin concentrations in the 2014 CNSSCH, the overall prevalence rate of anemia was 8.9%, with 5.8% to be mild anemia and 3.1% to be moderate-to-severe anemia. For boys aged 7-14 years, the hemoglobin concentration increased with age; Boys aged 7 years had the highest anemia prevalence (9.8%) and moderate-to-severe anemia prevalence(4.4%). For girls aged 7-12 years, the hemoglobin concentration increased with age, but the concentration decreased a little when girls reached 14 years of age; 14-year-old girls had the highest prevalence of anemia(13.3%), and 7-year-old girls had the highest prevalence of moderate-to-severe anemia(4.8%). The highest prevalence rates of anemia were found in Hainan (24.1%) and Gansu(19.6%), while the lowest was in Beijing(2.0%). Logistic regression models revealed that, for children aged 7 and 9 years, when comparing to those lived in urban areas, living in rural areas appeared to be a risk factor for anemia (OR=1.34) and moderate-to-severe anemia(OR=1.48); when comparing to living in cities of upper socio-economic status, living in cities of intermediate socio-economic status appeared to be a risk factor for anemia (OR=1.43) and moderate-to-severe anemia(OR=1.41), and living in cities of lower socio-economic status also appeared to be a risk factor for anemia (OR=1.26) and moderate-to-severe anemia(OR=1.35). For students aged 12 and 14 years, girls were at higher risks for anemia and moderate-to-severe anemic(OR=2.41,2.20).
Conclusion
The overall prevalence of anemia was low in Chinese school-aged children, but substantial subnational disparity and subgroup disparity exists. Our data called for setting up context-specific measures, such as deworming and iron supplementation, to deal with child anemia. Intervention programs need to be implemented among adolescent girls and those with relatively low socioeconomic status.
