Objective:To investigate ulinastatin (UTI) combined with Xingnaojing injection in the treatment of acute cerebral hemorrhage (ACH) and its effect on the serum high sensitivity C reactive protein (hs-CRP),D-dimer (D-D) and neuron specific enolase(NSE) levels.Methods:110 cases of ACH patients admitted in our hospital from January 2015 to December 2016 were selected and divided into two groups according to the random number table method. The control group was given UTI treatment, while the observation group was given UTI combined with Xingnaojing treatment. Then the brain edema absorption effect,NIHSS score, serum hs-CRP,D-D and NSE levels before and after the treatment of the two groups were recorded and compared;the safety ofmedicidstion of the two groups was evaluated. Results:At the 14th day after treatment, the total effective rate of cerebral hematoma absorption in the observation group was 89.1%,which was significantly higher than 67.3% of the control group (P<0.01).At the 14th day after treatment, the NIHSS scores of both groups were significantly lower than those before the treatment (P<0.01);compared with that of the control group of the same time period,at the 14th day after treatment, the improvement effect of NIHSS score in the observation group was more significant (P<0.01).Compared with those before the treatment, the serum hs-CRP,D-D and NSE levels of both groups at the 14th day after treatment were significantly decreased (P<0.01);at the 14th day after treatment, the serum indicators of the observation group improved more significantly than those of the control group (P<0.01).The incidence rate of adverse reaction in the observation group was 3.6% compared with 5.5% of the control group (P>0.05).Conclusion:Ulinastatin combined with Xingnaojing Injection could rapidly relieve or eliminate hematoma in the treatment of acute cerebral hemorrhage, control the inflammatory response, improve the blood coagulation system and fibrinolytic system, protect the nerve cells and reduce the neurological damagee.

Objective? To translate the Chinese version of the Functional, Communicative and Critical Health Literacy Scale (FCCHL) and to test its reliability and validity. Methods? From November 2015 to January 2016, the English version of the FCCHL was translated and adapted to Chinese culture based on the translator program for scale. We selected 300 chronic disease patients from five communities in Changsha City to evaluate the reliability and validity. Results? The survey released 300 questionnaires with 281 ones returning. The sale-content validity index/average (S-CVI/Ave) of the Chinese version of FCCHL was 0.965. Confirmatory factor analysis for three factors results showed χ2=138.797, df=70, χ2/df=1.983, SRMR=0.038, NFI=0.953, CFI=0.976, RMSEA=0.059, and the mean of AIC as well as CAIC was less than saturated model and independent model. The results indicated the model was acceptable. The correlation coefficients between education levels and health literacy as well as three dimensions were 0.418, 0.338, 0.269, 0.303 respectively;the correlation coefficients between self efficacy and health literacy as well as three dimensions were 0.444, 0.271, 0.350, 0.400 respectively;the correlation coefficients between health literacy and partners in health scale as well as three dimensions were 0.496, 0.199, 0.305, 0.329 respectively. The retest reliability was 0.715. The Cronbach's α coefficients of three dimensions and the scale were 0.910, 0.901, 0.900, 0.891 respectively. Conclusions? The Chinese version of FCCHL has good reliability and validity. It can be used as an assessment instrument for health literacy among chronic disease patients in China.

Objective:To quantitate the association between birth weight and phenotypes of physical indicators in adulthood, i.e. BMI and waist circumference (WC) and to what degree genetic or environmental factors affect birth weight-obesity association. Methods:A total of 6 623 gender matched twin pairs aged 25 to 79 years were recruited through the Chinese National Twin Registry. The twins reported their own birth weight, current height and weight, and WC using a self-administered questionnaire. BMI was calculated according to the self-reports of body height and weight. Within twin-pair design was used to quantitate the association between birth weight and phenotypes related to obesity while bivariate structural equation models were used to decompose the phenotype correlation. Results:After adjusted for multiple factors, twin-pair analyses within monozygotic (MZ) showed that, on average, a 1.0 kg increase in birth weight corresponded to an increase of 0.33 kg/m 2 in BMI and 0.95 cm in WC in adulthood ( P<0.001). Bivariate structural equation models showed significant positive unique environmental correlation between birth weight and the two obesity-related phenotypes. Conclusion:The study supported the role of twin-specific supply line factors on relationship between birth weight and physical indicators in adulthood.

Objective:
To analyze the heritability of diabetes among the Chinese twin adults.
Methods:
A total of 10 253 same-sex twin pairs aged 25 years and older, were selected from the Chinese National Twin Registry (CNTR) program. Heritability of diabetes was calculated by using the structural equation model.
Results:
After adjusted for age and gender, the overall heritability rates of diabetes were 0.41 (0.15-0.75), 0.83 (0.72-0.91) and 0.34 (0.04-0.73) in the <45 and ≥45 years twin pairs, respectively. After adjusted for age, rates of heritability appeared as 0.37 (0.05-0.78) and 0.88 (0.79-0.94) in men and women, respectively.
Conclusions
Diabetes is affected by both genetic and environmental factors. The genetic effect of diabetes seemed stronger on female than that on male twins but was dying down along with ageing.
