Objective To investigate the infection situation and the gene subtype distribution characteristics of human papilloma-virus(HPV)in Fengxian District of Shanghai to provide the reliable scientific basis for preventing HPV infection and the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer.Methods The PCR combined with reverse dot-blot technique was adopted to analyze the HPV de-tection results among 18 194 women in our hospital from February 2011 to October 2013.Results Among 18 194 cases of sample, 2 986 cases were HPV positive with the total HPV infection rate of 16.41%,in which 21 genotypes were all detected out.Single HPV genotype infection was in 2714 cases,two kinds of HPV genotype infection were in 148 cases(4.96%)and three kinds or more of HPV genotype infection were in 124 cases.The HPV positive rate was 16.88% in the outpatient and 12.76% in the inpa-tients.In the HPV infection,the high-risk type was more than the low-risk type,its detection number was 7.5 times of low-risk type.Most of the high-risk HPV infection were HPV16,52,58;most of the low-risk HPV infection was HPV cp8304,followed by HPV6 and HPV11.Conclusion The HPV prevalence in Fengxian District is generally in line with the Asian population distribution rule,but has its own unique regional characteristics.The infection age peak is 51-65 years old.The high-risk type infection is high-er than the low-risk type infection,which is dominated by the single genotype infection.

This paper summerized the surgical treatment of primary bronchogenic carcinoma in 3568 cases between 1957-1991. The resectability rate was 90. 3%, postoperative morbidity rate 8.32% and operative mortality 0. 89%. Pathological diagnoses of the resected specimens included squa-mous cell carcinoma for 48.7%, adenocarcinoma 22.9%, small cell cancer 15. 4%, large cell cancer 1. 3% and squa-mous-adenocarcinoma in 10.1%. The follow-up rate was 93%. The 5-and 10-year survival rates were 34.6% and 22.79% respectively. Analyses of the data demonstratad that the histologic type, pathological stage and metastasis of mediastinal lymph node are the important factors affecting the prognosis. According to UICC P-TNM,42. 6% of the patients in this group were in stage III. The 5 year survival rate was 19% in IIIa patients and 6% in IIIb. According to authors experience, it is recommended that in IIIa patients with nonsmall cell cardinoma, active surgical treatment should be adopted; in patients with small cell carcinoma, chemotherapy and radiotherapy should be given pre-and postoperatively, in IIIb patients with small cell carcinoma, surgical treatment is generally not indicated.

Aim To investigate the effects of stromal cell-derived factor-1α ( SDF-1α) on cell proliferation in primary cultured rat astrocytes and the possible mechanisms. Methods The primary cultured rat astr-cytes were treated with recombinant human SDF-1α at different concentrations, the cell proliferation was as-sessed by cell counting and 5-bromo-2’-deoxyuridine incorporation assay;intracellular calcium concentration was detected with calcium sensitive fluorescent probe;phorphorylation of extracellular regulated protein ki-nase1/2 ( ERK1/2 ) was determined by Western blot analysis;cell cycle transition was analyzed by flow cy-tometry analysis; mRNA expressions of cyclin A2 and cyclin B1 were determined by quantitative RT-PCR. Results Treatment of astrocytes with SDF-1α (5 -40 nmol·L-1 ) for 48 h induced significant cell prolifera-tion. SDF-1α at 20 nmol·L-1 increased the intracel-lular calcium concentration and the phosphorylation of ERK1/2. In addition, SDF-1α at 20 nmol·L-1 pro-moted the cell cycle transition from G0 to S and M pha-ses, and up-regulated the mRNA expressions of Cyclin A2 and Cyclin B1 . Conclusion SDF-1α significantly induces cell proliferation in primary cultured rat astro-cytes via enhancing calcium influx, ERK1/2 phospho-rylation, Cyclin expression and promoting cell cycle transition.

Objective To evaluate the capability of virtual non-contrast (VNC)of the second-generation dual-source CT (DSCT), and to display the adipose tissue of gastric serosa.Methods 48 patients with gastric cancer undergoing preoperative DSCT and sur-gery were enrolled.The true non-contrast (TNC)values and VNC values of perigastric adipose tissue were measured and compared with conventional non-contrast scanning and VNC of arterial phase and venous phase.The VNC values of perigastric adipose tissue were compared between serosal involvement group and non-serosal involvement group.Results There was statistical difference be-tween TNC values and VNC values of perigastric adipose tissue (P <0.05),the absolute differences were under 13 HU.The differ-ence of VNC values between serosal involvement group and non-serosal involvement group was significant (P <0.05).Conclusion VNC of the second-generation DSCT can clearly display the adipose tissue of gastric serosa.It has certain capability in judging sero-sal involvement.VNC has the proficiency to replace conventional non-contrast scanning.

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the antibacterial activities of cefoperazone combined with sulbactam against Gram negative bacteria,and compare with other antimicrobial agents.METHODS The antibacterial activities of 10 frequently used antibiotics against 1 670 strains of clinical isolated Gram negative bacteria were studied by using agar dilution methods according to the NCCLS 2002.RESULTS The results showed imipenem was the most active tested against Enterobacteriaceae such as Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae,followed by cefoperazone-(sulbactam),which had similar activities as imipenem against the non-fermentative strains such as Pseudononas aeruginosa,and Acinetobacter spp,but cefoperazone-(sulbactam) had higher susceptibility to imipenem-(resistant) Stenotrophomonas maltophilia.CONCLUSIONS Cefoperazone-sulbactam has good and broad spectrum(antibacterial) activities especially against Gram negative(bacteria,) and is expected to have a bright prospect in the treatment of severe hospital infections induced by Gram negative bacteria.

Objective To investigate the characteristics of cognitive impairment in neuromyelitis optica (NMO) patients.Methods 12 NMO patients,15 multiple sclerosis(MS) patients and 15 healthy people were collected and grouped as NMO group,MS group and normal control group.The five cognitive domains including working memory and information processing speed,verbal memory ability,semantic fluency,visual spatial structure and visuospatial recall ability,and executive function were evaluated respectively by the five tests,which are the 3/2 second edition of Chinese Version Auditory Continuous Addition test (PASAT3/2),the Chinese Rey Auditory Verbal Learning test (CRAVLT),Verbal Fluency test (VFT),the Rey Complex Figure test (RCFT) and the Chinese Version of the Stroop Colour-Word test (Stroop).The severity of somatic dysfunction and disability,depression,anxiety,fatigue and the sleep quality were evaluated both in NMO and MS patients by the Expanded Disability Status Scale Rating Scale (EDSS),Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD),Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA),Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS) and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI).Analysis of variance,MannWhitney and Kruskal-Wallis H test were performed to determine significant differences among three groups.Results The PASAT3 accomplishments were (33.3 ± 9.6),(38.9 ± 14.3),(45.5 ± 8.6) respectively,the VFT scores were (24.8 ± 8.7),(26.4 ± 8.4),(31.7 ± 4.7) respectively in NMO group,MS group and control group,and the differences of PASAT3 and VFT among three groups were significant (P ＜ 0.05).However,PASAT2,CRAVLT (N1-5,N6,7,8,9),RCFT and Stroop test scores were not significant differenence (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion NMO patients exist obstacle in working memory and information processing speed,semantic fluency,but still retain other aspects of the verbal memory capacity,executive function,visual-spatial structures and visual memory ability.The characteristics of cognitive impairment in NMO patients are not exactly the same as in MS patients.

Objective To analyze reliability, validity and the correlative factors of the Chinese Paced Auditory Serial Addition Test (PASAT).Methods Fifty healthy subjects were assessed with PASAT, MMSE, Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD) ,the Fatigue Severity Scale and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index( PSQI).After(7 ±2) days of the initial assessment,20 of the subjects were enrolled in the test-retest reliability and scorer reliability test,and 40 were taken into the construct validity test which included other 10 neuropsychological tests such as the Prospective Memory Test,the Chinese Rey Auditory Verbal Learning Test,the Symbol Digit Modalities Test,the Trail Making Test and so on.Results The internal consistency reliability ( cronbach' s α = 0.900 ),test-retest reliability ( ICC = 0.837, P = 0.000), score reliability ( ICC = 0.999, P = 0.000) of the Chinese PA-SAT were generally high.Practice effect were observed in short term ( Z = -3.304, P= 0.001 ).Executive function,working memory,verbal memory, time based prospective memory and the ability of logic reasoning were involved to complete the task of PASAT.There was a significant positive correlation of the PASAT results and the education years( r=0.582, P=0.000).Conclusion The Chinese PASAT has good reliability and validity for Chinese young and middle-aged people.Years of education and the Chinese PASAT were significantly related.On the other hand, the relationship of the Chinese PASAT and other factors, such as age and gender, should be further explored in future.
