Chinese Journal of Schistosomiasis Control 2017;29(4):478-481
Objective To investigate the epidemiological characteristics of imported malaria in Suining City from 2011 to 2016,so as to provide the evidence for improving the surveillance, risk assessment and control measures of imported malaria. Methods The malaria epidemic data in Suining City from 2011 to 2016 were collected from the reporting system, and statisti-cal analyzed. Results Totally 71 malaria cases were reported in Suining City from 2011 to 2016,and they were all imported cases. Sixty cases(84.51%)were imported from Africa. There were cases reported throughout the year, and no obvious seasonal distribution characteristics. The median time from onset to seeing a doctor was 2 days;the median time from seeing a doctor to confirmed diagnosis of malaria was 4 days. Totally 63.38%of the cases were diagnosed of malaria in initially seeing a doctor. For-ty-three cases were diagnosed by county and municipal medical institutions, accounting for 60.56%. All cases were laboratory confirmed cases, and they all received the standardized treatment. Conclusion The imported malaria epidemic situation in Su-ining City is still severe, and it is necessary to strengthen the management of floating population and professional training of med-ical staff so as to prevent the second malaria cases and deaths.

Chongqing Medicine 2014;(16):2035-2037,2040
Objective To understand the mastery situation of the knowledge about common infectious diseases among the prima-ry and middle school students,in order to provide the evidence for the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases. Methods The stratified random cluster sampling method was adopted. The survey was performed by the questionnaire form. The data were analyzed by the Chi square test, logistic regression model in the SPSS17.00 statistical software. Results Among the primary and middle school students in Chongqing, the students mastering 75% of the basic knowledge about infectious diseases accounted for 24.6% of the total respondents (P<0.01).From the view of the distribution of disease entities, the top six diseases with the awareness rate of less than 60% were hepatitis B,bacterial dysentery, cholera, measles, pinworm and rabies respectively(P<0.01), whose awareness rates are under 60%(P<0.01).As for the level of mastery among different grades, the senior middle school students had a better knowledge of tuberculosis, flu,SARS,AIDS,hepatitis B,poliomyelitis,etc(P<0.01).Comparatively,the pri-mary school students grasped the knowledge of hand-foot-and-mouth disease and pinworm better(P<0.01).Conclusion The pri-mary and middle school students have a low awareness rate of infectious diseases.Pertinently strengthening the popularization of the knowledge about infectious diseases is the powerful measure for reducing the occurrence of infectious diseases and promote the healthy development of students.
3.A SEROEPEPIDEMIOLOGIC STUDY ON THE RELATION BETWEEN HBV INFECTION AND PRIMARY LIVER CANCER
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1982;0(01):-
A serocpidemiologic study was conducted to approach the relation between HBV infection and PLC. In PLC patients, the positivity rates of HBsAg and anti-HBc are higher than that in the tumor and donors groups, but that of anti-HBs is lower. No significant difference between the HBV infections rates for PLA patients and donors was found. HBV infections pattern of patients with liver cirrhosis is very close to that of those with PLC.The outcome prompts that there is a relation between HBV infection and PLC, but it is not only one.

Objective:To evaluate whether Salviae Miltiorrhizae Liguspyragine Hydrochloride and Glucose Injection has posi-tive effects on the prevention and treatment of radiation-induced lung injury. The basic function and mechanism of Salviae Miltiorrhi-zae Liguspyragine Hydrochloride and Glucose Injection were also investigated. Methods:A total of 70 adult male rats weighing about 200 g were selected and divided into seven groups. These groups were as follows:1) normal control group (N):rats were injected with 1 ml of normal saline per day;2) single medicine treatment group (D):rats were administered with 1 ml of Salviae Miltiorrhizae Ligus-pyragine Hydrochloride and Glucose Injection per day;3) single irradiation group (Z):rats were exposed to 20 Gy single whole-chest ir-radiation and injected with 1 ml of normal saline per day;4) irradiation with 10 Gy and medicine treatment group (Z10):rats were ex-posed to 10 Gy single whole-chest irradiation and administered with 1 ml of Salviae Miltiorrhizae Liguspyragine Hydrochloride and Glucose Injection per day; 5) irradiation with 15 Gy and medicine treatment group (Z15): rats were exposed to 15 Gy single whole-chest irradiation and administered with 1 ml of Salviae Miltiorrhizae Liguspyragine Hydrochloride and Glucose Injection per day;6) irradiation with 20 Gy and medicine treatment group (Z20a):rats were exposed to 20 Gy single whole-chest irradiation for four weeks, and administered with 1 ml of Salviae Miltiorrhizae Liguspyragine Hydrochloride and Glucose Injection per day;and 7) irradia-tion with 20 Gy and medicine treatment group (Z20b):rats were exposed to 20 Gy single whole-chest irradiation and administered with 1 ml of Salviae Miltiorrhizae Liguspyragine Hydrochloride and Glucose Injection per day. Two rats were selected and sacrificed at the end of two, four, six, eight, and ten weeks of irradiation. Samples of blood and lung tissues in rats were obtained. Results:In the group with single irradiation, the tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) levels in plasma of rats were higher than those in the other groups. In the group with irradiation and medicine treatment, the TNF-αand TGF-βlevels in plasma were higher than those in the normal control group and single medicine treatment group. In the group with single irradiation for four weeks, some petechial hemorrhages on the surface of the lung were visible to the naked eye. In the groups with medicine treatment, the petechi-al hemorrhages on the surface of the lung visibly reduced. According to the pathological mechanism of lung tissues, the groups with Sal-viae Miltiorrhizae Liguspyragine Hydrochloride and Glucose Injection exhibited less inflammation than the single irradiation group. Ir-radiation at 20 Gy for four weeks followed by a daily abdominal injection was slightly better than single irradiation, but the effects were not obvious. Conclusion: Salviae Miltiorrhizae Liguspyragine Hydrochloride and Glucose Injection could prevent the occurrence of lung injury by reducing the TNF-αand TGF-βlevels in plasma. After the occurrence of radiation-induced pneumonitis, the application of medicine could not decrease the symptoms.

Journal of Clinical Neurology 1997;0(06):-
Objective To study the clinical, neuro-electrophysiology features of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 1A (CMT1A) and its gene mutation analysis. Methods 9 members of the family with CMT1A underwent detailed clinical examinations and gene mutation analysis was carried out in 7 of them. The probands accepted electromyography and nerve, muscle biopsy. Results Five patients of the family were attacked and consistent with autosomal dominant inheritance type. Except one asymptomatic patient, age at onset was in the first or second decade. The clinical features were slowly progressive distal muscle weakness, atrophy and end-brush form sensory decrement, diminished or absent tendon reflexes, foot deformity(pes cavus). The probands showed highly decreased sensory and motor conduction velocities. Gene mutation analysis showed large fragment tandem duplication containing peripheral myelin protein 22(PMP22) gene in all four patients out of the seven family members who attended the gene diagnosis. Conclusion CMT1A is the most common form of CMT. The disease usually begins in childhood or adolescence. Clinical featurs include progressive distal muscle weekness and atrophy, diminished or absent tendon reflexes. The motor nerve conduction velocity is slowed below the limit of 38 m/s. Tandem duplication on chromosome 17p11.2, encompassing the PMP22 gene is the main mutation type of CMT1A.
