Objective To observe the ultrastructure changes on von Ebner's gland of type 2 diabetes rats. Methods Eighteen Wistar rats were randomly divided into control group and experiment group.The diabetes rats model were induced by intraperitoneal injection streptozotocin(STZ) after high-fat food.The von Ebner's gland ultrastructure was observed under transmission electron microscope(TEM) after 8 weeks. Results Compared with the control group,in diabetes rats acinar cell nucleus appeared nucleolemma introcession and karyopycnosis;mitochondria exhibited vacuole degeneration and crista breaking;rough endoplasmic reticula expanded and showed degranulation.Conclusion A sereies of pathologic changes in von Ebner's gland of diabetes rats can be induced by diabetes,which provides morphological evidences for further investigation on the mechanism of diabetes complication.

With reformation and innovation in hospital management,hospital culture is playing a more important role than before in the development of hospitals.HEPA(Hospital Employee Assistance Program) is considered as the efficient means of enhancing hospital culture construction with "put the human fundamental" as its principal.This present article is going to introduce the origin,development and function of HEAP as well as the concept of hospital culture,indicating that HEAP may contribute to increment of employees' achievement,improvement of hospital management and enhancement of hospital culture construction.

Objective To evaluate the effect of detailed disease management model in community management of hyperuricemic patients.Methods One hundred and fifty patients with primary hyperuricemia were randomly divided into detailed management group and conventional group from April to June 2012,patients in two groups were managed by different models for 1 year.The weight,height,biochemical indexes including blood uric acid and serum lipids were measured and a questionnaire survey was conducted with the items of disease awareness score,smoking,drinking,diet,standard treatment,satisfaction of treatment etc.before and after management.Results One hundred and thirty six patients completed the study including 68 in detailed management group and 68 in conventional group.After one year management,the blood uric acid,triglyceride,low density lipoprotein (all P ＜ 0.01) were statistically lower than baseline in detailed management group,while there were no statistical differences of these indexes in conventional group (P ＞ 0.05).The disease awareness score increased from (65.4 ±5.4) to (82.7±4.2) (Z=-10.2,P＜ 0.01),high purine diet rate fell from 47.1％ to 7.4％ (x2 =33.6,P ＜ 0.01),the standard treatment rates increased from 10.3％ to 85.3％ (x2 =76.6,P ＜0.01),treatment satisfaction rate increased from 51.5％ to 88.2％ (x2 =21.8,P ＜0.01) in detailed management group.In detailed management group,the blood uric acid (Z =-7.4,P ＜ 0.01),total cholesterol (Z =-0.01,P ＜ 0.01),triglyceride (Z =-2.4,P ＜ 0.01) and low density lipoprotein (Z =-3.2,P =0.03) and high purine diet rate were lower (x2 =27.1,P ＜ 0.01),the standard treatment rate (x2 =70.6,P ＜ 0.01) and treatment satisfaction rate were higher (x2 =5.6,P =0.02) than those in conventional group after 1 year management.Conclusion Detailed disease management is an applicable and effective model for community management of hyperuricemic patients.

Objective To study the effect of simple peritoneal dialysis on the treatment of severe congenital heart disease(CHD) after operation complicated with low cardiac output syndrome(LCOS) in children with perioperative therapy.Methods After operation,fifty-three cases of severe CHD complicated with LCOS and the application of easy peritoneal dialysis were collected from Jan.to Jun.2013 in Department of Children's Surgical Intensive Care Specialist,Bayi Children's Hospital were collected.Functional parameters of vital organs,e.g.lung,kidney and heart were observed.Ages varied from 2 days to 2 years old,body weight from 2 to 8 kg.It contained 8 cases of complete transposition of great arteries with intact ventricular septum(TGA/IVS),10 cases of Tetralogy of Fallot(TOF),10 cases of pulmonary atresia (PA),6 cases of interruption of aortic arch (IAA),totally anomalous pulmonary venous drainage (TAPVC) in 6 cases,5 cases of coarctation of the aorta (COA),4 cases with right ventricular double outlet (DORV),3 cases with endocardial cushion defect(CAVC),1 case with ventricular septal defect(VSD).Results Fifty cases were completely cured,postoperative simple peritoneal dialysis treatment for 2 to 10 days,living ICU treatment time 2-15 days,urine output returns to normal 1-3 days,serum creatinine,blood urea nitrogen recovery time after 3-10.days,lactic acid to normal time 1-3 days,and 3 cases complicated with severe LCOS received extracorporeal membrane oxygenation therapy for difficult recovery,and postoperative recovery was good.Three cases died.Conclusions Easy peritoneal dialysis is convenient,safe,minimally invasive,inexpensive and effective.It can improve survival rate and reduce complications,shorten the time of mechanical ventilation and ICU residence time,hospitalization time and cost savings.

Objective: To study influencing factors for aspirin resistance in women with ischemic stroke.Methods: A total of 150 women with ischemic stroke, who visited to our hospital from Jun 2013 to Jun 2015, were selected.According to presence of aspirin resistance, they were divided into aspirin resistance group (n=61) and aspirin sensitive group (n=89).All patients received aspirin enteric-coated tablets on morning, then arachidonic acid pathway platelet aggregation inhibition rate and glycosylated hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) level were measured in two groups on 10 h after administration.According to HbA1c level, patients were divided into normal blood glucose group (n=83) and elevated blood glucose group (n=67), then aspirin resistance rate was compared between two groups.Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze influencing factors for aspirin resistance.Results: Compared with aspirin sensitive group, there was significant rise in body weight[(63.5±7.9) kg vs.(66.9±10.2) kg]in aspirin resistance group, P=0.041.Compared with normal blood glucose group, there was very significant rise in aspirin resistance rate (14.46% vs.73.13%) in elevated blood glucose group, P=0.008.Multi-factor Logistic regression analysis indicated that body mass index (BMI) and blood glucose level were independent risk factors for aspirin resistance (OR=4.012, 3.012, P=0.016, 0.018).Conclusion: Incidence rate of aspirin resistance is high in women with ischemic stroke.Blood glucose control and body weight status may affect incidence of aspirin resistance.

Objective To observe the effect of treating acute spinal cord injury in rats by transplantation of autologous activated Schwann cells(AASCs). Methods Unilateral saphenous nerves were ligated directly, free it and culture Schwann cells 1 week later using the tissue clot method. Nerve growth factor(NGF) and brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF) in medium were detected in different periods. 90 female Wistar rats[(200?30) g] were randomly assigned to 3 different study groups as follows: control group A(n=30): 20% DMEM injection; research group B(n=30): autologous Schwann cells(ASCs) transplantation; research group C (n=30): AASCs transplantation. The cells were purified before transplantion to the injuried T10 spinal cord site of rats (New York University type weight drop apparatus, NYU). The recoveries of the lower extremity were observed using Basso-Beattie-Bresnahan(BBB) locomotor scoring system and somatosensory evoked potential and motor evoked potentials(SEP & MEP). Objective To study the relation between chronic stressful, the neural changes in prefrontal cortex and depression. Methods Adapt chronic unpredictable stress with separate model to make depression model rats. After 22 days all the rats were killed and use immunohistochemistry method and computer image analysis to detect BDNF. To analysis the date with SPSS11.5 software. Results After 21 days stress, body weight ( t =2.915, P < 0.05), ambulation ( t = 6. 245, P < 0. 01 ), rearing( t = 2.693, P < 0. 05 ) and grooming ( t = 2. 685, P<0.05) decreased and stopping time in center( t=2. 388, P<0. 05) ,defecation( t =3. 846, P<0. 01 ) increased in experimental group. BDNF expressed obviously in control group and the prefrontal cortex expressed highly than that of the experimental group. BDNF expressions of experimental group were lower than that in control group ( P< 0.01 ) especially in right prefrontal cortex. Conclusion There was no difference of BDNF distribution in prefrontal cortex between both groups ,but after 21 days stress ,the BDNF levels of experimental rats obviously descent,especially in right prefrontal cortex.

BACKGROUND: Up to now the pathogenesy of nonalcoholic fatty liver(NAFL) is unclear. Uncoupling protein (UCP) of mitochondrial membrane can make oxidative phosphorylation uncoupling in mitochondrium, and then result in decreasing the efficiency of ATP synthesis by mitochondrium and participate the progression of fatty liver by changing energy metabolism.OBJECTIVE: To observe the expressive rule of UCP-2 in NAFL rat models at different time phases.DESIGN: Randomized control animal trial.SETTING: Department of Gastroenterology, Research Institute of Surgery,Daping Hospital, Third Military Medical University of Chinese PLA.MATERIALS: The experiment was performed at National Key Laboratory,Research Institute of Surgery, Daping Hospital, Third Military Medical University of Chinese PLA from November 2004 to December 2005. A total of 64 clean-grade Wistar adult male rats were selected. After being fed with common feed for 1 week, the rats were randomly assigned into model group and normal control group with 32 rats in each group. In each group there were 4 time points: feeding for 2, 4, 8 and 12 weeks, 8 ones at each time point.METHODS: The rats in model group received high fat diet (88% basic feed, 10% pork fat and 2% cholesterol) for 12 weeks. Those in normal control group received common feed in different cages (6 rats in each cage).MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Blood was collected from anesthetic rats of the two groups at corresponding time point. Animals were killed,and then liver was extracted rapidly. ①Change of expression of UCP-2in liver was determined with immunohistochemical method and Western blot technique. ②Activity of triacylglycerol, free fatty acid (FFA) and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) in serum was measured with biochemical method. ③Content of malondialdehyde (MDA) in liver tissues was measured.RESULTS: Totally 64 rats were involved in the result analysis. ①Biochemical indicators in serum: Levels of triacylglycerol, FFA and ALT in serum were significantly higher in the model group than in the normal control group at weeks 4, 8 and 12, especially at weeks 8 and 12 (P ＜ 0.01). ②The expression of UCP-2 enhanced gradually with the exacerbation of fatt yliver in the model group, while it was negative in the normal control group.③Content of MDA in liver tissues: It was significantly higher in the model group than in the normal control group at weeks 4, 8 and 12, especially at weeks 8 and 12 [(4.07±0.15), (4.93±0.14), (5.20±0.20) μmol/g; (3.14±0.20), (3.12±0.18), (3.13±0.16) μmol/g,P ＜ 0.01].CONCLUSION: With the formation and aggravation of nonalcoholic fatty liver, levels of triacylglycerol, FFA and ALT in serum and content of MDA in liver tissues increase, and the expression of UCP-2 also increase. It is indicated that high fat diet can induce expression of hepatocyte UCP-2,decrease of ATP progression in cells and accelerate the formation and development of fatty liver.

AIM: We used an animal model of chronic hypoxia to mimic right ventricular hypertrophy and try to study the potential mechanism of myocardium apoptosis of right heart in rat under chronic hypoxia.METHODS: Rat hypoxia models were established by exposing the rats to normobaric chronic hypoxia(oxygen levels were maintained at 9.5%-10.5%).Sixty rats were separated into two groups: one exposed to hypoxia and the other serving as control.Ten rats,randomly selected from each group were killed at 14,21,28 d after hypoxia.The apoptosis was determined.The changes of RV weight to left ventricle and interventricular septum weight ratio[RV/(LV+S)],the RV weight to body weight ratio(RV/BW) were also observed.The ?-MHC,bcl-2 and bad mRNA levels in right ventricle were detected by semi-quantitative RT-PCR assays and expression of ?-MHC,Bcl-2 and Bad protein levels were detected by Western blotting.RESULTS: The RV/(LV+S),RV/BW and apoptosis index in chronic hypoxia group were higher than those in normal control group(P0.05).Finally,a decreased bcl-2/bad ratio in chronic hypoxia group was found compared with control group(P
