1.Opening intentions of hospital libraries (rooms) in Beijing area to communities
Chinese Journal of Medical Library and Information Science 2014;(8):49-51
The attitude of librarians in hospital libraries (rooms) in Beijing area to open to community health service staff, the service they provided for them, and the difficulties they faced were investigated using questionnaires in or-der to provide reference for health administrative departments in making policies.
2.Book borrowing behaviors of undergraduates in Capital Medical University
Chinese Journal of Medical Library and Information Science 2015;(5):44-49
The analysis of 2013 circulating foreign and Chinese books in Library of Capital Medical University showed that the number of foreign and Chinese books classified into R Medicine and Healthand I Literaturewas the largest ,which thus provided the evidence for book acquisition ,book circulation and library holding develop-ment.Certain suggestions were put forward for improving the utilization of books, such as enforcing the acquisition and catalogue , and recommending books that should be bought .
3."Medical information literacy education in""5+3+X""training model of clinicians"
Chinese Journal of Medical Library and Information Science 2015;24(12):1-4
In order to adapt to the changes in the training model of medical professionals and meet the new re-quirements of information literary recommended by ACRL, medical information literacy education was reformed with the5+3+Xtraining model of clinicians proposed by Capital Medical University as an example, namely strengthening meta-literacy training by establishing new framework of medical information literacy education, implementing open education with new teaching methods, building assistant teaching platform, increasing class hours, etc.

Objective To explore the value of real-time tissue elastography (RTE) with tissue dispersion quantitative analysis technique for assessment of liver fibrosis stage. Methods 51 rats were injected 6% thioacetamide to induce liver fibrosis model, and 9 rats were injected saline as control group. In modeling 4 weeks,8 weeks,12 weeks respectively,14 rats in group of liver fibrosis model and 3 rats in control group were randomly selected to RTE.All the rats underwent tissue dispersion quantitative analysis,to obtain 12 quantitative parameters of elasticity, which included average relative strain value (MEAN),standard deviation of relative strain value (SD),area ratio of low-strain region (% AREA),complexity (COMP),kurtosis (KURT),skewness (SKEW),contrast (CONT),entropy (ENT),inverse difference moment (IDM),angular second moment (ASM),correlation (CORR) and liver elasticity index (LF index).Subsequently, rats were sacrificed and their livers were taken for pathology analysis.Liver fibrosis model group was divided into S0,S1,S2,S3,S4 group. The 12 quantitative parameters of elasticity were compared with each group. Results 49 rats were successfully modeled, and 42 rats were analyzed.Except COMP,KURT,CORR,the other quantitative parameters had statistically differences (P < 0.05).The other 9 parameters were correlated with liver fibrosis stage.Among these parameters,MEAN,% AREA and LF index had higher related coefficient(r =-0.831,0.882,0.866).The ROC curve was made by MEAN,LF index and %AREA to estimate the fibrosis stage, when S≥S1,S≥S2,S≥S3,S =S4,the areas under the ROCcurve were 0.884,0.925,0.934,0.962 (MEAN);0.917,0.958,0.984,0.962 (%AREA);0.917,0.948,0.966,0.967 (LF index),respectively. Conclusions As a non-invasive examination,RTE dispersion quantitative analysis technology can be used to quantitatively assess liver fibrosis.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the linkage between dentinogenesis imperfecta type II and chromosome 4q21 in a Tianjin-Tanggu family of the Hui nationality.
METHODSBlood samples were collected from 13 family members. DNAs were analyzed with 8 STRP markers (D4S2915, D4S2932, GATA62A11, D4S2409, DSP STRP, SPP1 STRP, D4S1563, D4S1544) using fluorescence-based PCR. The linkage between eight markers on chromosome 4q21 and dentinogenesis imperfecta type II locus was tested respectively by lod score analysis.
RESULTSGenotype and haplotype were acquired. Genetic linkage analysis demonstrated the maximum lod score of eight STRPs were all larger than zero, in which five of them were larger than 1.
CONCLUSIONThe locus of dentinogenesis imperfecta type II in Chinese family is located on human chromosome 4q21, which indicated that the locus of Chinese Hui nationality should be the same as that of other reported European or American family.

The production of propionic acid by Propionibacterium freudenreichii CCTCC M207015 was investigated in a Fibrous-bed bioreactor (FBB). The FBB was constructed by packing spiral cotton fibrous and immobilized into a bioreactor. By applying this bioreactor to propionic acid fermentation, the propionic acid yield had a significant improvement and reached 20.41 g/L, compared with the cell-free culture of 14.58 g/L (40 g/L of glucose). At the same time, the glucose exhausting time decreased from 120 h to 60 h. Batch fermentations at various glucose concentrations were carried out with FBB. Based on the analysis of the time course of production, fed-batch fermentation was also applied to produce propionic acid with FBB, the maximal propionic acid yield reached 45.91 g/L, and the proportion of propionic acid to total acids was about 72.31%.
