Objective:To study the relationship between an interpersonal climate of universities and teachers' mental health by self-made Scale of Interpersonal Climate (SIC).Methods:532 teachers from 16 universities all over the country were randomly chosen and assessed with SRHMS and SIC.Results: ①The better interpersonal climates of universities covered around 68.8% ; the most harmonious interpersonal relationships covered 72.4% ; worse interpersonal attitude, worse interpersonal interaction and worse interpersonal distance covered 44.5%,44.5% and 46.1% respectively ; the general feelings towards mental health of teachers in universities were better (the bad self-assessment、the medium self-assessment and better self-assessment are 9.0%,56.1% and 34.9% respectively ) . ② There was prominent positive correlation between universities' interpersonal climate and teachers' mental health(r=0.44). Meanwhile there was prominent negative correlation between negative emotion and interpersonal interaction, interpersonal harmony and interpersonal attitude(r=-0.25,-0.30,-0.30), but there was prominent positive correlation between negative emotion and interpersonal distance(r=0.24). ③ There was very distinct regression between interpersonal interaction and mental health, interpersonal harmony and mental health(?=0.28、0.22).Conclusions: The general feelings towards mental health of teachers in universities are better; There are close relationships between interpersonal climates of universities and teachers' mental health, and interpersonal interaction and interpersonal harmony play a brilliant role in mental health regression , they are the positive predictable factors to teachers' mental health.

Objective To evaluate denervation changes [fibrillation potentials (fib) and positive sharp waves (psw)] in thoracic paraspinal muscles as diagnostic aids in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Methods The fib and psw of thoracic paraspinal muscles, the motor unit potential of sternocleidomastoid muscle were detected in 50 patients who had been identified as having ALS.Age and sex-matched,30 normal subjects and 30 patients who suffered radicular disease in cervical or lumbosacral region were also detected in thoracic paraspinal muscles for finding fib and psw serving as controls. Results In ALS group,a vast of fib and psw were found in thoracic paraspinal muscles in 41 of 50 ALS patients (82%),they were not found with sternocleidomastoid muscle, but the motor unit potential of this muscle was shown having long-duration and high-amplitude in 48 of 50 ALS patients (96%),which were coincided with the chronic neurogenic changes.6 of 50 patients had denervation changes of tongue muscles,3 of them found fib and psw.2 of 30 patients who suffered from radicular diseases were found with a few of fib and psw changes in thoracic paraspinal muscles.None of these symptoms were found in normal subjects. Conclusion A vast of fib and psw in thoracic paraspinal muscles should represent a sensitive tool for diagnosis of ALS.

Objective:to investigate clinical significance of serum and urine NGAL (Neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin) in the early kidney damage with primary hypertension. Methods:According to UAER ( urinary microalbumin excreting rate ) ,we divided 90 patients with primary hypertension into three groups (<30 mg/24 h,30-300 mg/24 h and >300 mg/24h),and selected 30 healthy people as the control group.Serum and urine NGAL and cystatin C ,serum creatinine, urea nitrogen, high sensitive C reactive protein , transferrin, and basis of blood pressure were detected and followed up one year. Results:Compared with healthy group ,GFR( glomerular filtration rate ) and serum NGAL were decreased significantly in medium and severe proteinuria groups , while urine NGAL was increased. Conclusion:Serum and urine NGAL have been a clear trend changes in kidney damage ,which could be used as a reliable indicator in monitoring renal function of patients with primary hypertension.

To establish a method to detect cardiac troponin I by using time-resolved fluoroimmunoassay ( TRFIA) and apply to the clinic. Methods:The assay were measured by TRIFA and double antibody sandwich method .Standard protocols were evaluated with the standard curve , the limit of detection , stability, precision and cross reaction .Healthy reference populations and clinical serum specimens were measured to established the reference interval and evaluated the perspective of the clinical application . Results:The standard curve was Y=7485 .878+1400.924 X with a correlation coefficient of 0.999.The limit of detection was 0.052 ng/ml.The intra-and inter-assay coefficients of variation ( CV) were all <10%.Reference values was <0.14 μg/L.The AUC of ROC curve was 0.971 while the sensitivity was 96.45%,the specificity was 91.43% and the accuracy was 95.69%, with 98.45% of positive predictive value and 82.05%of negative predictive value. The correlation coefficient was 0.993 between our proposed method and the commercially available CLIA kits. There was no significant difference in statistics compared with ECG , CK-MB and cTnT ( P>0.05 ).There was significant difference in statistics compared before and after treatment with AMI ( P<0.001 ) .Conclusion: The TRFIA method for detecting cTnI achieves clinical application standards and may be used for the diagnosis and serosurveillance of acute myocardial infarction patients.

Objective To investigate the epiderniology of fungemia and provide evidence for clinical therapy. Methods A retro- spective survey was done with the 31 cases of fungemia in our hospital from August 2004 to November 2005.Results More than 80% of the patients suffered from two and more underlying diseases.Over a half of infections developed following placement of catheters. And 83.9% of the patients had a history of antimicrobial agents use before blood culture. The pathogens of 24 (77.4%) cases were associated with Candida spp.Only 3 strains were C.albicans.The mortality rate of candidemia was 45.8%.Different Candida species had different resistance rates to antifungal agents. Conclusions Fungemia patients often have serious underlying diseases. Most fungemia cases were candidemia caused by non-C.albicans.Some fungal pathogens are re- sistant to fluconazole and itraconazole.
