Salivary gland adenoid cystic carcinoma is one of the most common malignant salivary gland tumors.Its invasion and metastasis are multi-stage and multifactorial processes,in which complex mechanisms and multiple signaling pathways are involved.Here,this article reviews the research progress in signaling pathways of salivary gland adenoid cystic carcinoma.

Objective:To observe the curative effect and security of nicardipine combined with metoprolol succinate sustained-release tablet on renal hypertension.Method:65 renal hypertension patients were randomly divided into two groups.The patients in the nicardipine group were treated with nicardipine 80 mg q8h,while the patients in the therapy group were treated with nicardipine 40mg qd and metoprolol succinate sustained-release tablet 47.5-95mg qd for 8 weeks.Their blood pressure,heart rate,hepatic function,renal function,blood glucose and lipid were observed and recorded before and after the treatment.Result:The total efficiency was 74.4%in the controlled group and 88.5%in the therapy group,respectively. There were no obvious changes or obvious adverse reactions in their heart rate,hepatic function,renal function,blood glucose and lipid after the treatment.Conclusion:Nicardipine combined with metoprolol succinate sustained-release tablet is efficient and safe but more efficient than nicardipine alone in the treatment of renal hypertension.

The paper analyzes current situation of the non -medical majors and literature information retrieval course in Traditional Chinese Medicine ( TCM) colleges and universities , points out the course reform objectives and key points .By taking Liaoning Universi-ty of Traditional Chinese Medicine as an example , it discusses the characteristics of non -medical majors and needs for the literature in-formation retrieval course , and proposes the teaching approach of literature information retrieval course for non -medical majors in TCM colleges and universities .

[Objective] To explore the surgery protocol of the serious dislocation of acromio-clavieular joint,and compare the outcome of ORIF with AO/ASIF clavicle hook plate only to ORIF with eoraco-clavieular ligament reconstruction.[Method]Fity-two cases of the dislocation of acromio-clavicular joint were reviewed,Group A was ORIF only including 29 cases(male 20,female 9,mean age 45),according to the system of Rockwood,as TypeⅢ in 12 patients,TypeⅣ in 15 patients and TypeⅤ in 2 patients,the other 23 cases ORIF with eoraeo-clavieular l ligament reconstruction was Group B(male 15,female 8,mean age 50.6),according to the system of Rockwood,as TypeⅢ in 9 patients,TypeⅣ in 13 patients and TypeⅤ in 1 patients,AO/ASIF claviadar hook plates were used for all of the ORIF,and modified Weaver's method was used to reconstruct eoraco-clavieular ligament.Outcome was evaluated by Lazzcano scale after 8~12 months,and data was analyzed by SPSS 10.0.[Result]Good outcome was achieved in all of the patients,there was no significanty statistical difference between the two groups.[Conclusion]Clavicle hook plate is a kind of perfect internal fixation.Reconstruction of eoraco-clavleular ligament is not necessary if the AO/ASIF plate is used,unless serious avulsion of deltoid and trapezius muscle involved.

Objective To observe the effect of formaldehyde exposure on the progress of explanted S180 tumour and the serum p53 antibody in mice. Methods 30 male SPF Kunming mice aged 6 weeks were randomly divided into control group,tumour group and formaldehyde group which drunk purified water,purified water contained 0.05% formaldehyde respectively. One week later S180 tumour cells (2?106) were implanted subcutaneously in the left fore armpit in tumour and formaldehyde group mice. The general state (weight,activity and spirit state),the appearing time and progress of solid tumour was recorded. Four weeks later the animal were sacrificed,the weight and volume of the tumour were measured,the serum p53 antibody was examined by ELISA. Results The activity and spirit state was normal in control group. In tumour and formaldehyde group the mice had withered hair and cachexia,such as emaciated,tired,retardation. In formaldehyde group the weight increase was slow in the first and second week,however it was rapid in 3 and 4 week,the appearing time of solid tumour was advanced,the weight,volume of the tumour were higher than those in tumour group(P

Objective:To observe the effects of sodium butyrate on the expression of CD86 molecule on acute leukemia cells and explore the mechanisms of action.Methods:The expression of CD86 in NB4,HL-60 and U937 treated by SB or not was assayed by flow cytometric analysis.The alteration of CD86 mRNA was examined by semiquantitative RT-PCR.AUT gel electrophoresis was applied to check the state of histone acetylation.The content of phospho-CREB was assayed by pCREB kit.Results:Up-regulation of CD86 was observed on those cells treated by SB.The levels of CD86 mRNA in SB treated cells were statistically enhanced.The acetylation degrees of SB treated cells were higher than control groups.The contents of phospho-CREB were also raised in SB treated cells.Conclusion:SB can improve the acetylation states of acute leukemia cells,remodel the chromatin which contributes to the binding on DNA of transcription factors,such as CREB and then promote the transcription and expression of CD86.

On the basis of reviewing the significance of retrieval teaching and scientific research integration and the research situation at home and abroad,the paper proposes the undergraduate teaching optimization plan of literature information retrieval of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) teaching integrated with scientific research,points out that the teaching design should focus on the cultivation of scientific research ability,the teaching process advocates the efficient and rich communication form based on the students,and the course assessment should establish multi-dimensional evaluation system.

This paper presents a surgical optical navigation system with non-invasive, real-time, and positioning characteristics for open surgical procedure. The design was based on the principle of near-infrared fluorescence molecular imaging. The in vivo fluorescence excitation technology, multi-channel spectral camera technology and image fusion software technology were used. Visible and near-infrared light ring LED excitation source, multi-channel band pass filters, spectral camera 2 CCD optical sensor technology and computer systems were integrated, and, as a result, a new surgical optical navigation system was successfully developed. When the near-infrared fluorescence was injected, the system could display anatomical images of the tissue surface and near-infrared fluorescent functional images of surgical field simultaneously. The system can identify the lymphatic vessels, lymph node, tumor edge which doctor cannot find out with naked eye intra-operatively. Our research will guide effectively the surgeon to remove the tumor tissue to improve significantly the success rate of surgery. “Early clinical contact” is one of the teaching means of pre-clinical education.Internal medicine department of Tongji hospital attached to Huazhong university of science and technology has done many exploration and has gained many experiences in the stage of “Early clinical contact” of 8-year medical program.They put forward some ideas,including intensifying legal,ethics and morality sense; intensifying communication ability and clinical thinking ability cultivation; intensifying cultivation of scientific research and clinical scientific thinking consciousness ; intensifying learning of clinical medical English.They also summarize a set of effective teaching methods with characteristics.

OBJECTIVE: To establish a staging standard for a transplanted hepatoma model in rats, which may be equivalent to the human primary liver cancer. METHODS: A transplanted hepatoma model was made in SD rats by implantation of histologically intact Walker-256 tumor fragment into the left lateral lobe of the liver. The body weight, tumor volume and serum albumin level of the rats were measured and assayed in different periods. Pathological sections were also fabricated to detect the invasion and metastasis of the neighboring tissues. RESULTS: The body weight loss and ascites occurred at the 12th and 18th day separately. The serum albumin level was (35.32+/-2.45) g/L at the 11th day, which showed no statistical difference as compared with the healthy rats (P>0.05), and the albumin level at the 18th day was significantly lower than that at the 11th day (P<0.05). At the 23rd day, 56.25% of the rats developed bloody ascites. CONCLUSION: The period between 5-11 days in the model rats may be correspondent to the early stage of human primary liver cancer, and the biological behavior of the model rats at the18th day may be correspondent to the late stage of human primary liver cancer. This staging standard might be the guideline for model selection in experimental study of primary liver cancer.
