Objective:To analyse the curative effect and immune indices of tripterygium glycosides on glomerulonephritis rats . Methods:Aged Wistar rats were randomly divided into 3 groups , Group A:glomerulonephritis model rats received tripterygium glyco-sides treatment;Group B:healthy Wistar rats received no treatment; Group C: glomerulonephritis model rats received no treatment . Results:12 weeks after experiment , Group A and Group C had higher levels of 24-hour urine protein than Group B and these of pre-experiment(P<0.05).Group A had a lower level of 24-hour urine protein than Group C(P<0.05).Group A and Group C had high-er levels of TG, TC than Group B, with lower levels of ALB than Group B (P<0.05).Group A had lower levels of TG, TC than Group C, but a higher level of ALB than Group C (P<0.05).Group A had a higher rate of 0-1 grades in pathology grade than group C(χ2 =6.667,P=0.010).Group C had higher levels of TNF-αand IL-6 than Group B and Group A (P<0.05).Conclusion:Tripterygium glycosides can reduce the urine protein excretion of rats that with mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis , rectify dyslip-idosis, raise plasma-albumin, decrease the protein expression of TNF-αand IL-6 in glomerulus.
4.Rehabilitation effect research of electro-acupuncture combined with computer aided training on brain injury patients with cognitive deficits

A total of 60 brain injury patients with cognitive impairment were randomly divided into electro-acupuncture,computer and combination groups (n =20 each).The electro-acupuncture group received electroacupuncture,computer group cognitive rehabilitation training with specialized equipment and combination group both regimens.The treatment lasted for 2 months.Before training,Loewenstein occupational therapy cognitive assessment (LOTCA) test was not statistically significant among all groups (P 8 0.05).After 1 month,the combination group scored higher than pre-training (P < 0.05).After 2 months,the scores of all groups were higher than pre-training(P < 0.05).After 1 and 2-month training,the combination group scored higher than the other two groups in aspects of consciousness,optomotor tissue,attention,thinking and aggregate score (P < 0.05).However,the orientation scores of all groups changed insignificantly after 1-month training (P 8 0.05),the combination group scored higher than the other two groups in improved orientation after 2 months (P < 0.05).

Objective: Clinical study on Jangzhuo Decoction for treating plasma concentrations of oxidized low density lipoprotein, d dimer of ischemic stroke and its relation to preventing repeated stroke.Methods: 72 cases with ischemic stroke were divided randomly and blindly into two groups. 36 patients with ischemic stroke in therapeutic group were treated with Jangzhuo Decoction M ASA, and 36 patients in control group were treated with M ASA alone. The follow up survey for six months was conducted when physical signs and symptoms of the paints with ischemic stroke begain to be stable. Results: The incidence of the repeated stroke in therapeutic group were one case(2.7%) and in control group were three cases(8.3%) respectively. Ox LDL levels of therapeutic group was 1021?102?g/dl( ?s ), decreased to 604?77?g/dl( P 0.05). There was significant difference between the two groups. Objective To evaluate the performance of high-fluorescence body fluid cell (HF-BF)mode on the platform Sysmex XE-5000 automated blood analyzer,and analyse its clinical application value in diagnosis of meningeal carcinomatosis.Methods E-valuated the performance of HF-BF by using precision test and methodology comparison test.Retrospectively analyzed 295 test re-sults of cerebrospinal fluid in Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Xiamen University from June 2010 to September 2012.Results HF-BF on the platform Sysmex XE-5000 automated blood analyzer had high precision,and exhibited a good consistency with cytolgical examination.The percentage of high-fluorescence body fluid cell(HF-BF%)in the meningeal carcinomatosis group was higher than that in other cerebral diseases groups,had statistically significant differences (P < 0.05 ).The cut-off value for HF-BF% was 4.3%,while the area under a receiver operating characteristic (ROC)curve (AUC)was 0.933,the sensitivity was 95.2%,and the specificity was 92.7%.When HF-BF% was over 4.3%,it was more likely to detect tumor cell in cerebrospinal fluid cytology.Con-clusion HF-BF is an effective reference index for the early diagnosis of meningeal carcinomatosis and has significant clinical appli-cation value.

Objective:To explore the action of the second signal system in the activatied and proliferating T cells and the induction of apoptosis of the hepatoma cells.Methods:The T cells were costimulated by anti CD28 and anti CD80(B7.1)McAb and acted on the hepatoma cells(BEL 7402),then testing the concentration of cAMP?cGMP and Ca 2+ in the T cells and the apoptosis of the hepatoma cells.Results:The concentration of cAMP was increased temporarily at first,then decreased rapidly,and increased 1 2 times again when acted on the hepatoma cells.The concentration of cGMP was increased 6 8 times fast and the concentration of Ca 2+ obviously increased 2 3 times too.The peak of them was at the fourth day and positive related to apoptosis of the hepatoma cells.Conclusion:The level of the second signal system of cAMP?cGMP and Ca 2+ were significant correlated with the T cells activated and porliferating and the cytotoxic effect.

Objective: To study the contents and constituents of LSPC (procyanidins from Lotus Seedpod) and its chemoprophylactic effects on 9,10-dimethyl-1,2-benzanthracene (DMBA)-induced golden hamsters buccal-pouch carcinomas. Methods: ESI-MS was used to analyze LSPC, and the change of body weight, mortality during test, and the value of serum MDA, GSH-Px, T-SOD,the gross and pathological change of buccal-pouch mucosa were investigated when golden hamsters were via gastric intubation or the buccal pouch mucosa was smeared with 100mg/(kg bw?d)LSPC. Results and conclusion: The contents of LSPC exceeded 98% and mono-, di-, tri-, tetrameric procyanidins as well as di-, trimeric galic ester were constituted of LSPC with molecular weight ranging from 290-1154. LSPC had chemoprophylactic effects on DMBA-induced golden hamsters buccal-pouch carcinomas, and the effect was superior through smearing LSPC rather then via gastric intubation .
9.Efficacy of computer plus humanities in the treatment of cognitive dysfunction after brain injury

A total of 60 patients with cognitive impairment were divided randomly into observation and control groups.Both groups were treated by conventional exercise therapy and computer-assisted cognitive rehabilitation while humanities therapy was combined in the observation group.After 8-week treatment,Loewenstein occupational therapy cognitive assessment (LOTCA) and modified Barthel index (MBI) scores were enhanced in both groups (P < 0.05) while the scores of self-rating anxiety scale (SAS)and self-rating depression scale (SDS) declined obviously in observation group (P < 0.05).The thought operation function,optomotor tissue,consciousness,concentration and total score of cognitive function in observation group were higher than control group (P < 0.01) while the scores of SAS and SDS obviously lower (P < 0.01).The scores of SAS were (50 ± 4),(55 ± 5) and SDS (53 ± 4),(56 ± 5) in two groups respectively.Therefore the therapy of computer cognitive rehabilitation plus humanities has the significant effect on improving cognitive function.
10.Species distribution of pathogens and prognostic factors of catheter-related bloodstream infections in Intensive Care Unit

Objective To investigate the incidence and the species distribution of catheter‐related bloodstream infection(CRBSI) in the intensive care unit(ICU) at our hospital ,and analyze the risk factors for CRBSI .Methods The hospitalized patients microbi‐ologically diagnosed as CRBSl were included in this study from January 2012 to June 2013 .Data were collected retrospectively and analyzed by software SPSS 19 .0 .Results There were 67 patients were diagnosed as nosocomial CRBSI of 987 cases ,in which 24 cases (35 .8% )died in the hospital .Eighty one strains were detected from 67 cases of CRBSI ,including 42 Gram‐positive(G+ ) bac‐teria(51 .9% ) ,36 Gram‐negative(G-)bacteria (44 .4% ) ,and 3 fungi(3 .7% ) .Staphylococcus epidermidis was predominant patho‐genic G+ bacteria ,and Acinetobacter baumannii was predominant G - bacteria .With multiple logistic regressions ,age≥65 ,high A‐PACHEⅡ score and polymicrobial CRBSI were independent predictors of worse outcome .Conclusion Within the latest 18 months , the prevalence of pathogens infection are Staphylococcus epidermidis and Acinetobacter baumannii in CRBSI in ICU .Advanced age , disease severity and polymicrobial CRBSI should be regarded as significant independent risk factor of the CRBSI patients in ICU for mortality .
