Gait recognition is a new technology in biometric recognition and medical treatment which has advantages such as long-distance and non-invasiveness. Depending on the differences between different people's walking pos tures, we can recognize individuals by characteristics extracted from the images of walking movement. A complete gait recognition process usually includes gait sequence acquisition, gait detection, feature extracting and recognition. In this paper, the commonly used methods of these four processes are introduced, and feature extraction methods are classified from different multi-angle views. And then the new algorithm of multi-view emerged in recent years is highlighted. In addition, this paper summarizes the existing difficulties of gait recognition, and looks into the future development trends of it.

Methods Somatosensory evoked potential (SEP) from posterior tibial nerve, L_4, L_5 and S_1 dermatomes SEP, and lumbosacral SEP was recorded in 54 patients with radiculopathy caused by LDH. Results The SEP from posterior tibial nerve was abnormal in 22 cases (40.74%). The SEP from L_5 and/or S_1 dermatome was abnormal in 47 cases (87.04%, P

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for rational use of drugs in patients with mental disorders. METHODS:In retro-spective investigation,47 386 prescriptions of psychiatric department in our hospital during Sept. 2013 to Aug. 2014 were analyzed statistically. RESULTS:Totally 39 496 cases were enrolled in the 47 386 prescriptions. The median age of patients was 31.42,with male to female ratio of 1:1.07;they were diagnosed as schizophrenia and other mental disorder, accounting for 65.34%,and fol-lowed by mood disorders, accounting for 15.20% . They were mainly given single drug and two-drug use, accounting for 30.80%and 61.68%respectively. Clozapine, quetiapine, risperidone were top 3 prescription drugs in the list of frequency;olanzapine,que-tiapine,risperidone were top 3 drug in the list of consumption sum. Among top 20 psychiatric prescription drugs, there were 7 kinds of drugs for schizophrenia and other psychiatric disorders,3 kinds of drugs for mood disorders. CONCLUSIONS:The use of antipsychotic drugs in our hospital is rational basically.

Chinese Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery 2003;0(06):-
Objective To explore an easier method to get epithelial cell and fibroblast from a rabbit' s trachea for trachea tissue engineering in vitro. Methods Digest the epithelial cell and fibroblast by trypsin after co-culture for 6 days. Distinguish these two kinds of cells according to their different tolerances to trypsin and culture characteristics. The new method and the traditional method were compared by the proliferation of the cells with cell counting and MIT assay. Results The purity of the cells got with this new method is up to 100% . The cells proliferation is as same as that cultured by traditional methods. Conclusion With this method, one can get two kinds of different cells from the original in one time, it is easier to practice than the traditional.

Objective To induce regeneration of dog's tracheal cartilage by implanting the recombinant human bone morphogenetic protein-2 (rhBMP-2) into the tracheal graft in order to prevent the trachea from collapse. Methods RhBMP-2 with the atelopeptide type-1 collagen carrier was implanted around the cartilage ring of the autograft. New cartilage formed was detected with the histological analysis and immunohistochemical stain after 4 weeks. Six different concentrations of rhBMP-2 with collagen carrier were implanted around the cartilage ring in 6 auto transplantation groups respectively. The area of new cartilage regeneration was calculated in choosing the optimal dosage of rhBMP-2. Auto and allo tracheal transplantation were performed with rhBMP-2 implanted around the cartilage ring, the diameter of the grafts, histological analysis, and the area of the new cartilage regeneration were calculated. Results The addition of rhBMP-2 resulted in significantly greater amount of the new cartilage area (P

Chinese Journal of Interventional Cardiology 1993;0(03):-
Objective Summarize the lesion characters, procedure results and clinical follow up results of the elderly patients with coronary heart disease who underwent coronary angioplasty Methods 53 cases of coronary heart disease patients undergoing PTCA and stenting were ≥65 years old 35 were male, 18 were female 33 patients were diagnosed acute Q wave myocardial infarction, 2 patients acute non Q wave myocardial infarction, 14 patients unstable angina pectoris, and 4 patients coronary heart disease with severe heart failure PTCA and stenting were performed with conventional method, and temporary pacemakers were used if necessary Heparin was used if target vessel were involved in small vessels or the patients had multivessel diffuse lesions or PTCA was performed in more than one vessel Results Multivessel diffuse severe atherosclerosis was common in elderly patients The lesions were complex, and the procedures were difficult The success rate was 98% and the mortality was 11% during hospitalization 30 patients were follow up in 8 7?5 4 months, during which 11 (36%) patients had angina, 1 (3 5%) patients suffered acute myocardium infarction, 1 (3 5%) patient died of cerebral infarction, and the other 17 patients were asymptomatic Conclusion PTCA for the elderly patients is feasible The lesions in elderly patients with coronary heart disease are complex, the procedures are difficult and the mortality in hospitalization and the recurrent of ischemic chest pain are higher However, if we sufficiently estimate the lesion′s characters, PTCA can be safely performed in the elderly patients, and PTCA is the better method for elderly patients than medicine treatment

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2016;20(29):4334-4340
BACKGROUND:Excessive mechanical stimulation can lead to endoplasmic reticulum stress. Endoplasmic reticulum stress plays an important role in the occurrence and development of degenerative diseases. Caspase-12 is a specific molecule of endoplasmic reticulum stress, and the intensity of endoplasmic reticulum stress can be reflected by caspase-12 expression. OBJECTIVE:To observe the expression rule of Caspase-12 in chondrocytes under the cyclic tensile stress. METHODS:Human chondrocytes were used as test subjects. After group assignment, mechanical loading system was used. The loading group and corresponding Z-ATAD-FMK inhibitor group received 2, 12, 24, 36, and 48 hours of mechanical stimulation. The blank group (0 hour) and the paired Z-ATAD-FMK inhibitor group received the same process as the loading group except the loading. After loading, cel morphology and growth were observed under the microscope. RT-PCR and western blot assay were used to detect the expression changes of caspase-12 gene and protein in each group. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1) Morphological observation results demonstrated that apoptosis appeared at 2 hours after loading, peaked at 24 hours. With prolonged time, cel growth showed the trend along stress, but apoptosis weakened. It is indicated that cyclic tensile stress could make chondrocyte apoptosis. Endoplasmic reticulum stress might be activated. The model of cel s in vitro was established successful y. (2) Caspase-12 gene and protein expression showed consistent trend, and peaked at 24 hours, which showed significant differences as compared with the blank and inhibitor groups (P<0.05). (3) Cyclic tensile stress can induce chondrocyte endoplasmic reticulum stress, and affect caspase-12 expression.
