Hypertension is a main risk factor for cardio-,cerebrovascular and renal diseases.Catheter-based renal sympathetic ablation provides a neW therapeutic method for hypertension, it shoWs effective antihypertensive and sympathetic denervation effects,and obtains additional benefits While treating hypertension.

As a kind of progenitor cells, the neural stem cells (NSC) possess the potential abilities of both proliferation and differentiation, from which some neurons or glias can be produced. Therefore, the neural stem cells show broad application prospects and clinic utility value. In this paper, the biological characteristics, distributions, main differentiation mechanisms, some experimental skills and application in neurosurgery of the neural stem cells were discussed.

Objective To explore the repaired effects of autotransplantation of bone marrow-derived neural stem cells (BMSCs) on hippocampus of epilepsy rats.Methods Male SD rats were randomly divided into groups normal control (NC),graft and non-graft .Under sterile condition, the BMSCs of rats were isolated, and under specific condition the BMSCs were cultured to induce and differentiate into neural stem cells(NSCs). Then the models of temporal lobe epilepsy were established in groups graft and non-graft , and the NSCs were autotransplanted into the right hippocampus of rats of graft group. The morphological changes of the hippocampus were observed at 1,2 ,4,8,16 weeks after the transplantation respectively.Results The number of hippocampal CA3 pyramid cells of groups non-graft and graft significantly decreased than that in NC group(all P

Objective To investigate the changes of vital signs and cerebral blood flow after sport in hyperthermal and heavy humid environment; and to investigate the effect of Urapidil on these changes. Methods 90 soldiers were divided into three groups: new soldiers group, new soldiers taking Urapidil group and veterans group(as group A,B,C). Their vital signs and cerebral blood flow were measured at quiescent condition in normal temperature and after their running for 3000m within 20 minutes in hyperthermal and heavy humid environment. Results Little difference was found among the three groups at guiescent condition in normal temperature. Whereas after exercise, there was significant elevation in body temperature, pulse, systolic pressure and cerebral blood velocity. On the other hand, a little decline in diastolic pressure was showed, but no obvious changes in pulsatility index(PI) following the exercise. Compared with group A, the average body temperature in group B was lower. The cerebral blood velocity in group C was faster and the PI showed lower. Conclusion Sport in hyperthermal and heavy humid environment could significantly affect vital signs and cerebral blood flow of human. The veterans had acquired better heat adaptation than the new soldiers. Urapidil played an important role in pharmacological hypothermia.

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the literatures on grand mal epilepsy caused by levocarnitine,explore the causes of seizures, the clinical features and treatment measures in order to provide guidance for rational use of drug. METHODS: Included studies retrieved from CNKI and VIP in china journal of medicine from 1999～2009.Based on a grand mal epilepsy case caused by levocarnitine for Injection in our hospital, cases of grand mal epilepsy caused by levocarnitine reported in literatures were analyzed comprehensively. RESULTS: The clinical information of grand mal epilepsy cases reported in our hospital and literatures were analyzed as well as past medical history, usage and dosage, onset time, treatment method and efficacy. All patients were in the process of irrigation of Levocarnitine showed the typical clinical manifestations of grand mal epilepsy, after active treatment were both mitigation. CONCLUSION: The adverse reaction that grand mal epilepsy is caused by levocarnitine is rare,and pathogenesis is not clear but clinicians should pay attention to it.

To study the growth, expansion and differentiation of bone marrow stromal cells (BMSC) of rhesus monkey, the BMSC were isolated from adult rhesus monkeys, cultured and induced with a special medium confected in our lab. Identification was performed with immunochemichemistry method. The results showed that BMSC could proliferate and generate clone when culturing in vitro. These cells grow rapidly and differentiated into neuron like cells and astrocyte like cells. The cell clones proliferated from stem cell could express Nestin antigen and the differentiated cells expressing GFAP or NSE antigen respectively. In this study, we did not observe RA, BFGF and EGF remarkably influencing the induction and differentiation of the BMSC. It is suggested that the BMSC from rhesus monkey have the self renewal and differentiation abilities. They might differentiate into neuron like and astrocyte like cells which express GFAP or NSE. As available easily, the BMSC could be considered as the ideal seed cells of the neural stem cells.

To explore the feasibility and validity of isolated neural stem cells(NSC) derived from adult human bone marrow, the adult human bone marrow stromal cells, harvested by density gradient centrifugation following an ilium puncture, were cultured in "Cytokines NSC medium" for ascertaining the optimal survival conditions in vitro . Proliferation of NSCs was evaluated by formation of cell clones. Antibodies against Nestin, NSE and GFAP were chosen for identifying NSCs, neurons and glial cells, respectively. The involved cytokines in culture included GDNF(20ng/ml), LIF(10ng/ml)and RA(0 5?g/ml). Among the adult human bone marrow stromal cells, there were some NSCs with rough and large cytoplasmic granules proliferating rapidly into islets shaped cellular spheres with positive Nestin, a specific antigen on the fetal neural epithelium. After separating the cellular spheres into single cells and then plating them, we found the islets shaped cellular spheres appeared again. Following differentiation of the NSCs spheres, some of them formed small buds,which then developed further into long projects connecting each other. Most of the cells with long projects showed positive NSE or GFAP. It is possible that adult human bone marrow stromal cells could be induced into NSCs under certain experimental conditions. Also it implied the feasibility and validity that the adult human bone marrow might be used as the seed cells of the neural stem cells.

Objective To investigate the distribution rule of NMDA receptor protein localizated on neuron membrane surface. Methods After the primary culture model of forebrain cortex neuron of rat had been set up,the NR1 subunit protein molecule of NMDA receptor has been combined with primary antibody IgG,and marked by Staphylococcus protein A-colloid gold particles (SPA-G). Then the neuron was observed with Field-emission SEM,and the content of AU element was calcalated by software. Results The cluster of NMDA receptor combined with SPA-G particulates was clearly observed as some globular being distributed mainly under some niches of lipid rafts,mainly localized at originating section of dendritic protuberance of neuron membrane surface. Conclusion NMDA receptor molecule protein was distributed on the membrane surface lipid rafts of originating section of dendritic protuberance of neuron. It was in accord with the distribution rule of postsynaptic membrane on neuron. The Field-emission SEM could distinguish single NMDA receptor melocule cluster after being marked with SPA-G molecule in neuron.

This paper summarizes the connotation and value of humanistic education. According to the characteristics of the ethicality and social ability of medicine and comparing to the international medical humanistic education standard, it analyzes the present situation and difficulties we are facing and puts for-ward some strategies and measures such as renewing humanity educational ideas, building two dimensional curriculum system of General and Professional Course, cultivating and strengthening teachers team with both professional ability and humanity equality and confirming principles of humanistic education. These measures can increase the connotation of humanistic education and extend its extension. They have great practical significance towards cultivating outstanding medical talents with high comprehensive quality and healthy personality.
