OBJECTIVE:To observe and probe into the effects and mechanism of action of calcium dobesilate on the con?tents of vasoactive substances in the remnant kidneys of rats with chronic renal failure.METHODS:The rats were randomly divided into sham operation,model and calcium dobesilate therapy group.Except the sham operation group,the rest two groups underwent nephrectomy and were established as chronic renal failure models.One week later either drink water or calcium dobesilate were irrigated into the stomachs of the rats in all three groups.And the effects of calcium dobesilate on renal function,contents of part vasoactive substances and the renal pathological changes of remnant kidney were examined.RESULTS:In calcium dobesilate therapy group,urine protein decreased,and the renal function improved,as compared with the model group.The contents of Thromboxane A 2 in the renal cortex significantly decreased and the pathological changes of remnant kidney lessen significantly.CONCLUSIONS:Calcium dobesilate may protect kidney by decreasing the content of Thromboxane A 2 in the remnant kidney.

Stem cells transplantation has shown bright prospect in clinic myocardial infarction therapy.The researchon its mechanisms has experienced several stages,such as: cell differentiation,angiogenesis et al,which offered us a new clue for therapy.This review focuses on mechanisms of stem cells transplantation.

Objective To determine the distribution and drug resistance of pathogens isolated from wounds in orthopedic patients.Methods Wound samples were collected from 999 orthopedic patients in the Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University during July 2010 and June 2012.Pathogens were isolated and identified.The antimicrobial susceptibility test was performed by Kirby-Bauer method.Extended spectrum β-1actamases (ESBLs) were detected by double-disk diffusion test,and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) was detected by cefoxitin disk diffusion test.WHONET 5.4 was used for drug resistance analysis.Results A total of 1056 strains of pathogens were isolated,of which gram-positive cocci,gramnegative organisms and fungi accounted for 69.98％ (739/1056),28.79％ (304/1056),and 1.23％(13/1056),respectively.The top 5 pathogens were Staphylococcus aureus (265.25.09％).Pseudomonas aeruginosa (245,23.20％),Acinetobacter baumannii (199,18.84％) and Escherichia coli (86,8.14％).The resistant rates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to cefoperazone/sulbactam,ciprofloxacin,levofloxacin and piperacillin/tazobactam were 13.58％,21.25％,21.67％ and 22.45％,while the highest resistance rate was to compound sulfamethoxazole (98.04％).Acinetobacter baumannii was highly resistant to most antibacterial agents except cefoperazone/sulbactam (14.29％),and 11 out of 199 strains were pandrug resistant.Enterobacteriaceae were completely susceptible to imipenem and meropenem,and their resistance rates to cefoperazone/sulbactam,piperacillin/tazobactam and amikacin were 1.16％-28.12％.ESBLs positive rates of Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae were 48.84％ (42/86) and 34.38％(11/32),respectively.Staphylococcus aureus were susceptible to vancomycin,teicoplanin and linezolid,but were highly resistant to ampicillin (100.00％),penicillin G (99.25％) and erythromycin (80.06％).The rate of MRSA was 41.51％ (110/265).Enterococcus were highly resistant to erythromycin,rifampin,levofloxacin,high-concentration gentamicin,minocycline and nitrofurantoin,but were susceptible to teicoplanin and linezolid,and the rate of vancomycin intermediate strain was 4.55％ (1/22).Conclusions The pathogens of wound infections in orthopedic patients were of wide variety.Staphylococcus aureus,Pseudomonas aeruginosa,Acinetobacter baumannii,Escherichia coli and Enterobacter cloacae were the most prevalent pathogens,and most strains were multi-drug resistant.

BACKGROUND:Astragaloside Ⅳ is a major component of Huangqi,promoting proliferation and differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells;however,the mechanism has been less reported yet.OBJECTIVE:To explore the effect of Astragaloside Ⅳ on expression of multiple hematopoietic growth factors in bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells.METHODS:Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells were isolated from adult Wistar rats by using the method of adhesive culture and clone,and they were then plated on 96-well plate and separately incubated with 100 uL Astragaloside Ⅳ(25,50,100,200 g/L)for 72 hours.The cells in the control group were cultured with an equal volume of DMEM-LG culture liuquid.Indirect immunofluorescence was used to detect the biological activity,MTT method was used to evaluate the effect of Astragaloside Ⅳ on proliferation and differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells,and RT-PCR method was used to measure the expression of hematopoietic growth factors in bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The 3~(rd)-passage bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells highly expressed CD44 but lowly expressed CD45.As compared with control group,Astragaloside Ⅳ promoted proliferation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells in a time/dosage-dependent manner,in particular,the 200 g/L Astragaloside IV and 72-hour intervention(P＜ 0.05).SCF expression was significantly increased in the drug group compared with control group(P ＜ 0.01);however,TPO,GM-CSF,and TGF-β1 expressions were not changed significantly(P ＞ 0.05).Moreover,interleukin-3 expression was not found in the bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells.Astragaloside Ⅳ promoted in vitro proliferation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells,possibly involving in SCF secretion.

Objective To investigate hand hygiene status of health care workers (HCWs)in a hospital,and pro-vide guides for improving hand hygiene compliance.Methods Hand hygiene intervention was adopted in a hospital between 2012 and 2014,hand hygiene compliance among HCWs and healthcare-associated infection in patients be-tween August 1 and August 31 of each year were investigated and analyzed statistically.Results In 2102 -2014, hand hygiene compliance rate of HCWs was 59.55%,62.13%,and 65.16% respectively,which showed a increased trend (χ2 =10.018,P =0.002),HAI rate was 2.13%,1 .48% and 1 .06% respectively,which showed a decreased trend (χ2 =82.377,P <0.001 );hand hygiene compliance rate of doctors was lower than nurses (57.97% vs 65.97%);Of different hand hygiene moments,hand hygiene compliance rate was the lowest before touching a pa-tient(41 .32%),and highest after body fluid exposure (76.47%).Conclusion Comprehensive hand hygiene inter-vention in this hospital has achieved preliminary results,improvement of HCWs’hand compliance is helpful for pre-venting HAI.

Objective The research of impeller blood pump has been the key point in cardiac surgery and biomedical engineering fields in recent years. To investigate hydrodynamies of self researched and developed mini axial flow pump, parameters of pump were tested on a homemade mimic vitro platform. Methods Hydrodynamics tests were performed in vitro mimic circulation, water and 30% glycerin in water as respeetive circulatory mediator to simulate blood. Results Flow rates can reach 6. 19L/min and 5.08L/min respectively in water and 30% glycerin, when rotation speed was 13000rpm and pressure was 100mmHg. Conclusion Axial flow blood pump has good hydrodynamics to substitute for left ventricle, whieh can meet the demand of assisted circulation in congestive heart failure patients.

Objective:To investigate the status of work performance among rural doctors in Shanxi province and the factors related to their performance.Methods:From July to September 2019, 528 rural doctors in Shanxi province were selected by multi-stage stratified cluster sampling for the survey. Their job competency, job performance, psychological capital and burnout were evaluated. The structural equation model was used to construct the job performance analysis based on post competency.Results:The total score of post competency of rural doctors in Shanxi province was (188.6±20.3), and the total score of job performance was (71.3±11.5), both of which were in the middle level. The structural equation model was well fitted [goodness-of-fit index (GFI)=0.958, normal fix index (NFI)=0.920, adjusted goodness-of-fit index (AGFI)=0.910, root mean square error of approximation (RMSEA)=0.076]. Post competency, psychological capital and job burnout had direct effects on job performance ( P<0.05), with influence coefficients of 0.64, 0.35 and -0.25, respectively. Job competency indirectly affected job performance through psychological capital and job burnout ( P<0.05). Conclusion:The study suggest that higher post competency would facilitate to improve the work performance of rural doctors.

Objective To investigate the effects of adenosine supplementing cold blood cardioplegia on myocardial injury in patients undergoing milral valve replacement(MVR).Methods Thirty ASA Ⅱ or Ⅲ patients aged 18-64 yr with a BMI of 18-24 kg/m2 undergoing elective MVR were randomly divided into 2 groups(n =15each):control group(C)and adenosine group(A).In group A myocardial arrest was produced by infusing adenosine 6 mg diluted in normal saline 20 ml through aortic root after aorta was cross-clamped followed by cold blood cardiaplegic solution 20 mg/kg.In group C asystole was produced with cold blood cardioplegic solution 20 ml/kg alone every 30 min.Blood samples were taken from central vein at 5 min before(T1)and 4 h after aortic crossclamping(T2)and 24 h after operation(T3)for determination of plasma cardiac troponin Ⅰ(cTnI)concentration and creatine kinase-MB(CK-MB)activity.The amount of cardioplegic solution infused,cardiac arrest induction time(from infusion of adenosine or cardioplegic solution to asystole shown by ECG),restoration of spontaneous heartbeat,the amount of dopamine administered during the 2 h after CPB and aortic cross-clamping time were recorded.Results Supplementation of cold blood cardioplegia with adenosine significantly reduced cardiac arrest induction time,the total amount of dopamine administered during the 2 h after CPB and plasma cTnl concentration and CK-MB activity in group A compared with group C.Conclusion Cold blood cardioplegia supplemented with adenosine can attenuate myocardial injury in patients undergoing MVR.

Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with tuina in treating patients with cervical vertigo. ＜br> Methods: According to the principle of randomization, 258 cases with cervical vertigo who met the inclusion criteria for the study were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 129 cases in each. The patients in the observation group received acupuncture combined with tuina therapy, while those in the control group were just treated by the same acupuncture therapy as in the observation group. After 10-day continuous treatments, the clinical efficacies of the two groups were analyzed and compared. ＜br> Results: The total effective rate of the observation group was 100%, versus 86.0% of the control group, and the difference was significant (P＜0.05). After treatment, cervical range of motion (ROM) scores in both groups were statistically significantly different from those before treatment (allP＜0.05); in addition, there was a statistically significant difference in inter-group comparison of ROM score (P＜0.05). ＜br> Conclusion: Compared with simple acupuncture treatment, acupuncture combined with tuina therapy has a better effect in improving the ROM of cervical vertigo patients, with higher clinical efficacy.

Objective: This study investigated the factors influencing, take out meal consumption among college students in Shanxi Province and explored the relationship between the frequency of take out meal consumption and BMI. Methods: A total of 1 631 college students from five universities in Shanxi Province were studied by means of a questionnaire and multi stage random sampling. Logistic regression was used to analyze the factors influencing college students take out meal consumption. The factors influencing overweight and obesity among college students were analyzed with binary Logistic regression. Results: A total of 1 456 college students had some takeout meal consumption. Gender average monthly cost of living, grade, and major were the factors influencing the frequency of college students take out meal consumption( χ 2=72.26, 242.89, 351.52, 222.35, P <0.01). The overall overweight and obesity rate among the college students were 12.3%, 19.2% in male students, and 6.6% in female students. After controlling for gender, binary Logistic regression showed that monthly cost of living, grade, major, and permanent residence influenced the frequency of college students weekly consumption of out of home meals, and this led to a higher the rate of overweight and obesity( P <0.05). Conclusion Take out meal consumption is relatively common among college students, and controlling its frequency could help to reduce the occurrence of overweight and obesity.
