This paper adopted UG8.0 to bulid the stent and blood vessel models. The models were then imported into the finite element analysis software ANSYS. The simulation results of ANSYS software showed that after endothelial stent implantation, the velocity of the blood was slow and the fluctuation of velocity was small, which meant the flow was relatively stable. When blood flowed through the endothelial stent, the pressure gradually became smaller, and the range of the pressure was not wide. The endothelial shear stress basically unchanged. In general, it can be concluded that the endothelial stents have little impact on the flow of blood and can fully realize its function.

OBJECTIVE To improve efficiency of hospital infection administration and take strict precautions against medical malpractice in Chinese level Ⅱ hospital of UN Peacekeeping Army in Lebanon.METHODS The current situations of its hospital infection administration were enumerated,compared and analyzed,and corresponding measures of administration were suggested.RESULTS Under the influence of characters of medical missions during peacekeeping,the hospital infection administration presented the problems that patients and disease spectra were diversified,the rate of hospital infection was influenced by peacekeeping mission,the positive rate of HIV was high,medical workers protection awareness was lagged behind,and the disposition of hospital was illegitimate;many measures should be taken to enhance the administration level.CONCLUSIONS In order to well develop the hospital infection administration in Chinese level Ⅱ hospital of UN Peacekeeping Army in Lebanon,we should reform and improve the system of hospital infection administration,and establish an effective and systematic prevention system of hospital infection.

Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy and economic effect of Alprostadil in the pharmacotherapeutic scheme for cerebral infarction.Methods:A total of 156 successfully treated cases of cerebral infarction were selected from those admitted from March 2003 to March 2004 and divided into two pharmacotherapeutic groups,with Alprostadil given to Group Ⅰ.The data were evaluated and compared by pharmacoeconomic cost-effect analysis.Results:The costs were $11 271.47 and $8 147.06,and the effectiveness rates were 84.21% and 70.00% respectively in the two groups,with the cost-effect ratios of 133.86 and $114.34 / unit effectiveness.It cost $219.87 for Group Ⅰ to increase a unit of effectiveness over Group Ⅱ.Conclusion:Group Ⅰ had a higher effectiveness rate,while Group Ⅱ a lower cost-effect ratio.

AIM: To observe the enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) gene expression and cytotoxicity in human adipose derived adult stem cells (hADSCs) by pEGFP-N1, Ad5-EGFP and rAAV-2/1-EGFP, and investigate the suitable gene-transferred vehicle. METHODS: The experiment was conducted at Chinese National Human Genome Center and the Third Hospital of Peking University from January to July 2006. ①After the patients and their relative were informed consent, the subcutaneous adipose tissue was obtained from the patients undergoing routine total hip joint replacement in Department of Orthopaedics, Third Hospital of Peking University. pEGFP-N1 was provided by Clotech Company, Ad5-EGFP and rAAV-2/1-EGFP by Vector Gene Technology Company. ②hADSCs were cultured in vitro after isolated from the adipose tissue after dissected and digested with type I collagenase. ③hADSCs of passage 3 were infected with pEGFP-N1, Ad5-EGFP and rAAV-2/1-EGFP and the EGFP expression and the cell toxicity were observed. ④Twenty-four hours after being transfected, 5?104 cells were reseeded in a 24-well plate and the solution was changed three times every week. The growth curves of each group were drawn. Normal non-transfected cells served as control. The influence of different transfection ways on the growth of hADSCs was observed. RESULTS: ①Comparison of transfected efficiency with different ways: pEGFP-N1 transfection showed a higher cytotoxicity and lower efficiency of 10.5%; Ad5-EGFP could efficiently transfect hADSCs (multiplicity of infection=5?102, 82.5%); when MOI was 0.05); however, the growth capability of hADSCs was decreased significantly in the pEGFP-N1 transfection group compared with the control, and the differences were significant at day 3-10 after transfection (P

Corticosteroids,anti-vascular endothelial growth factor,antibiotics and antiviral were the main 4 classes of drugs for intravitreal injection.Depending on the class and volume of medication,age and gender of patients,ocular axial lengths or vitreous humour reflux,intraocular pressure (IOP) can be elevated transiently or persistently after intravitreal injection.Transient IOP elevation occurred in 2 weeks after intravitreal injection,and can be reduced to normal level for most patients.Only a small portion of such patients have very high IOP and need intervention measures such as anterior chamber puncture or lowering intraocular pressure by drugs.Long term IOP elevation is refers to persistent IOP increase after 2 weeks after intravitreal injection,and cause optic nerve irreversible damage and decline in the visual function of patients.Thus drug or surgical intervention need to be considered for those patients with high and long period of elevated IOP.Large-scale multicenter clinical trials need to be performed to evaluate the roles of the drug and patients factors for IOP of post-intravitreal injection,and to determine if it is necessary and how to use methods reducing IOP before intravitreal injection.

Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of intravitreal ranibizumab and (or) triamcinolone combined with laser photocoagulation for macular edema secondary to branch retinal vein occlusion (BRVO) during one year period.Methods The data of 31 eyes from 31 consecutive patients with macular edema secondary to BRVO during one year follow-up visit were retrospectively analyzed.Mean best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) logMAR was (0.74±0.36) and mean central retinal thickness (CRT) was (484.48± 164.81) μm at baseline.All patients received standardized clinical comprehensive examinations including vision,intraocular pressure and optical coherence tomography for diagnosis before treatment.All patients received intravitreal injections of 0.5 mg ranibizumab (0.05 ml) at first visit.The continue PRN treatment were based on the visual acuity changes and the optical coherence tomography findings.Eyes received combined triamcinolone acetonide 0.05 ml (40 mg/ml) and ranibizumab for macular edema recurrence after two injections of ranibizumab and received laser photocoagulation during 10-14 days after third injections of ranibizumab.Mean injection of ranibizumab was 3.52± 2.01,15 eyes with triamcinolone acetonide (0.84 ± 1.21),21 eyes with laser photocoagulation (0.97± 0.95) and 12 eyes with three treatment.Compared the visual acuities and CRTs of the first and the last visits by statistical analysis.Results Mean visual acuity improved significantly to 0.42±0.33 logMAR (t=6.611,P=0.000).Mean improvement of visual acuity was 2.90± 3.07 lines.A gain of three or more logarithmic lines was evaluated in 20/31 eyes (64.52％) at the last visit.Mean CRT was (326.19± 117.80) μm (t=4.514,P=0.000).Mean reduction of CRT was (333.58±134.17) μm.A decrease of 100 μm of CRT was evaluated in 17/31 eyes (54.84％).No severe ocular and systematic side effect was found.Conclusion The efficacy and safety of intravitreal ranibizumab and (or) triamcinolone combined with laser photocoagulation for macular edema secondary to BRVO were assured.

Retrospective analysis was conducted for the results of first-aid competitions so as to understand the present status of how emergency doctors of Hubei Province grasp the skills and consciousnesses of cervical immobilization.From 6 out of 19 teams,38 participating doctors from grade 3A hospitals provided patient cervical immobilization while 2 teams offered no cervical protection.It is necessary to intensify the skills and consciousnesses of cervical immobilization in clinical practice.

Objective To introduce a new classification system for femoral intertrochanteric fractures and propose classification to assist surgical management.Methods A total of 176 cases of femoral intertrochanteric fractures treated from September 2007 to October 2011 were enrolled in the study.X-ray and three-dimensional spiral CT reconstruction were performed to define fracture shape,location,number of major fragments and displaced direction.As combined with the intraoperative findings and cadaveric anatomical study,the femoral intertrochateric fractures was simulated using a three-dimensional entity of normal proximal femur produced by Mimics 11.1 program.A new classification system for femoral intertrochateric fractures was proposed.Results The new system categorized intertrochateric fractures of the femur into five types (Type Ⅰ,Type Ⅱ,Type Ⅲ,Type Ⅳ and Type Ⅴ) based on the integrity or destruction of the medial column,lateral column and posterior column set and divided on the basis of bone connection of femoral head-neck fracture fragments with the bone in intertrochanteric region.Conclusions The new classification system with introduction of three-column concept is brief and practical and has a clear definition of fracture stability.Besides,the new classification-based treatment is recommended.

Objective To investigate the factors associated with vision and hole closure for idiopathic macular hole (IMH) after vitrectomy surgery.Methods Eighty-nine eyes of 89 patients with IMH were enrolled in this retrospective study.There were 15 males and 74 females.The patients aged from 42 to 82 years,with the mean age of (64.13 ± 7.20) years.All subjects underwent best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) and optical coherence tomography (OCT) examinations.The BCVA ranged from 0.01 to 0.4,with the mean BCVA of 0.12 ± 0.09.The MH stages was ranged from 2 to 4,with the mean stages of 3.56 ± 0.77.The basal diameter ranged from 182 μm to 1569 μm,with the mean basal diameter of (782.52± 339.17) μm.The treatment was conventional 25G pars plana vitrectomy combined with phacoemulsification and intraocular implantation.Fortyone eyes received internal limiting membrane peeling and 48 eyes received internal limiting membrane grafting.The follow-up ranged from 28 to 720 days,with the mean follow-up of (153.73 ± 160.95) days.The visual acuity and hole closure were evaluated on the last visit and the possible related factors were analyzed.Results On the last visit,the BCVA ranged from 0.02 to 0.8,with the mean BCVA of 0.26±0.18.Among 89 eyes,vision improved in 45 eyes (50.56％) and stabled in 44 eyes (49.44％).Eighty-six eyes (96.63％) gained MH closure but 3 eyes (3.37％) failed.By analysis,patients of early stages of MH and smaller basal diameter of MH will gain better vision outcome (t=2.092,2.569;P＜ 0.05) and patients of early stage MH will gain high hole closure rate after surgery for IMH (t=-5.413,P＜0.05).However,gender,age,duration,preoperative BCVA,surgery technique,gas types and follow-up time had no relationship with the effect after surgery for IMH (P＞0.05).Conclusions Stages of MH and basal diameter of MH may be the factors associated with the visual outcome for idiopathic macular hole after surgery.However,age,gender,duration,surgery patterns,gas types and followup time showed no effects on operational outcomes.

Objective To investigate the antioxidative and antiaging effects of the bioactive extract from Agrocybe aegerita. Method Fruit flies and D-galactose induced aging mice were fed with the bioactive extract from Agrocybe aegerita. The lifespan of fruit fly and spleen index, brain index,SOD activity in serum and lipofuscin level in 1iver of the mice were measured, and its acute toxic effect was studied. Results The bioactive extract from Agrocybe aegerita could significantly increase the mean lifespan and half death time of fruit flies. The percentage of life prolongation was 41.81% compared with the control. Compared to the models, SOD activity in serum,spleen index and brain index of male mice fed with 800mg/(kg.d) of the bioactive extract from Agrocybe aegerita were respectively increased by 42.36%, 33.33% and 17.85%,while lipofuscin content of liver decreased by 50.06%. 20g/(kg.d) of the bioactive extract from Agrocybe aegerita was safe for mouse. Conclusion The bioactive extract from Agrocybe aegerita have obviously antioxidative and antiaging effects with little side effect.
