Foodbome viruses are defined to be viruses that can lead to human diseases through food. In accordance with the different origin, foodborne viruses can be divided into two kinds: intestinal viruses and zoonotic viruses. The former include those viruses that can be transmitted to person via fecal-orally route. The latter include those zoonotic viruses that chiefly transmitted to person through livestock and poultry products. This paper expounds foodborne viruses categories, biology nature, epidemiology character, and study circumstance, and clarifies the molecular biological methods and problems on the base of the polymerase chain reactions, and presents the development direction and application perspective of the foodbome viruses study.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of autologous dendritic cells (DCs) vaccine combined with cytokine-induced killer (CIK) cells for treatment of patients with biliary tract cancer. Methods Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were collected from the patients with biliary tract cancer and were stimulated with multiple tumor-associated antigens (TAA) for amplification and culture. Mature DCs were harvested and made into vaccine for intradermal administration, and at the same time the patients were given autologous CIK cells via vein transfusion. The clinical efficacy, immune function, side effect, and overall survival of 85 patients with biliary tract cancer were observed before and after treatment. Results The clinical symptoms were improved significantly in the 85 patients after autologous DC-CIK therapy (P <0.05). The clinical efficacy was remarkable: with 2 cases (2.3%) having complete remission, 14 (16.5%) with partial remission, 54 (63.5%) with stable disease and 15 (17.6%) with progressive disease. The immune function was improved after combined treatment; CD3⁺, CD3⁺CD4⁺, CD3⁺CD8⁺, CD3⁺CD56⁺ and CD4⁺/CD8⁺ ratio were elevated in the lymhocyte subpopulation, but the regulatory T cells were reduced (P <0.05). At the end of the follow-up, 58 patients died, 2 patients were lost in follow-up, and 25 patients survived, with the median overall survival time being 16.5 months (95%CI: 12.1-20.9 months). Conclusion Autologous DC-CIK therapy is a safe and effective treatment for patients with biliary tract cancer, with less side effect, but the relevant conclusion still needs to be confirmed by larger sample randomized controlled studies.

Objective To establish a method for simultaneous detection of norovirus (NV),rotavirus (RV), astrovirus (AV) and hepatitis A virus (HAV) by multiplex reverse transcriptionpolymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Methods Specific primers of the four viruses were designed based on the high conserved sequences, the reaction system and conditions optimized and the specificity and sensitivity confirmed. The method was then applied to detect the four viruses in clinical samples. Results The steady detection limits were 100 pg/ml for hepatitis A virus, 50 pg/ml for rotavirus, norovirus and astrovirus respectively. When the developed method was used to detect clinical fecal samples, 62(48.44%)were iden tified as rotavirus, 8 (6.25%) as norovirus, 11 (8.59%) as astrovirus and 4 (3.12%) as hepatitis A virus in a total of 128 samples. Conclusion Data from our study showed that multiplex RTPCR system could be used to simultaneously detect the four viruses in routine monitoring and risk assessment in disease outbreaks with high specificity and sensitivity.

OBJECTIVETo investigate occupational health status of female workers in pharmaceutical industries and to propose the protective measures for the occupational health.

METHODA total of 2816 female workers from 19 pharmaceutical industries in Shandong and Gansu provinces were investigated by a questionnaire.

RESULTS73.1% of female workers exposed to occupational hazards, mainly to toxic chemicals. 63.2% of them suffered from dysmenorrhea; 38.5% of them have reproductive system diseases, i.e. mammary gland hyperplasia (44.1%), cervical erosion (26.5%), uterine annex inflammation (24.2%); 17.1% of them suffered from accidental work injuries; 34.7% of them complained about low back pain, and 29.7% of them perceived hearing loss. 94.9% of female workers hoped to get the occupational health and labor protection knowledge and skills.

CONCLUSIONStrengthening the supervision of labor protection for female workers, including technical measures occupational hazards control and health-related knowledge, and improving the occupational health status of female workers should be conducted.

OBJECTIVETo explore the mechanism of scalp catgut embedding for treatment of Parkinson's disease.

METHODSParkinson's disease model rats were prepared, and randomly divided into a model group, scalp acupuncture group, medication group, with a control group set up. The scalp acupuncture group were treated with catgut embedding at "the chorea-trembling conroued area" lateral to "Baihui" (GV 20) and the medication group with intra-gastric perfusion of L-dopa suspension. After treatment for 30 days, behavior indexes were investigated and malondialdehyde (MDA) and nitric oxide (NO) contents and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity in the brain were detected.

RESULTSMDA content in the brain of the model rats were significantly decreased (P < 0.01), NO level significantly increased (P < 0.05) by scalp catgut embedding, with no significant change of SOD activity (P > 0.05); and the behavior indexes and tissue and form of the brain had significant improvement.

CONCLUSIONScalp catgut embedding has regulative action on anti-oxidant enzyme system in the Parkinson's disease rats, has significant improvement of cells, tissues and form of the brain.

Objective To explore the effect of clinical nursing pathway on the patients with enterostomy.Methods Totals of 36 patients with enterostomy were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,and the experimental group received the nursing of the clinical nursing pathway while the control group received the routine nursing.The complications of enterpstomy,the patient satisfaction,the average hospitalization days and the expenses were observed and compared between two groups.Results There was significantly difference between experimental group and control group in the complication rate (0％ vs 27.77％ ),the length of the mean hospitalization ( 16.12 ± 5.46 d vs 21.18 ± 4.88 d),and the expenses (20325.68 ±5676) vs (22348.18 ±4 479.90),(x2 =4.587 8,t =-2.88,-3.372,respectively;P ＜0.05 ).Patients' satisfaction of experimental group (94.44％) was significantly higher than that of control group (55.55％),( x2 =7.251 7,P ＜ 0.05 ).Conclusions The application of clinical nursing pathway can reduce the complications of enterostomy and patients' sufferings,shorten the mean hospitalization,reduce the expenses,improve the nursing quality and patients' satisfaction.

AIM:To study the effect of Aurora protein kinase inhibitor VX-680 on homogeneous adhesion and migration ability in human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line HepG 2.METHODS:The HepG2 cell were divided into ex-perimental group and control group, respectively.VX-680 was used in experimental groups at 3 concentrations(3.125 μmol/L group,6.25 μmol/L group and 12.5 μmol/L group).DMSO was used in the control group.The effects of VX-680 at different concentrations on the adhesion ability of human hepatocellular carcinoma HepG 2 cells were observed by cell slow aggregation test and separation experiment.The effects of VX-680 at different concentrations on the migration ability of HepG2 cells was detected by wound healing assay.The expression of E-cadherin in HepG2 cells was detected by Western blot.RESULTS:The results of the slow aggregation test showed that compared with the control group,the number of cell clumps formed in experimental groups was significantly decreased(P<0.01).The results of separation experiment showed that the ratio of NTC/NTEgradually decreased with the increased concentration of VX-680.The results of wound healing as-say showed that as the concentration of VX-680 increased, the cell scratch healing ability gradually weakened compared with control group.The results of Western blot showed that the protein expression of E-cadherin in the HepG2 cells in-creased with the increased concentration of VX-680(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:VX-680 increases the homogeneous ad-hesion and inhibits the migration of HepG 2 cells.
