To observe the clinical outcome of implanting AcrySof lQ Toric intraocular lens to correct corneal astigmatism in cataract surgery, and to evaluate the result and rotational stability of AcrySof lQ Toric after cataract surgery.
●METHODS: A retrospective study of 26 eyes in 21 cataract patients with corneal astigmatism. All patients implanted AcrySof lQ Toric intraocular lens. The preoperative and postoperative uncorrected visual acuity ( UCVA ), best corrected visual acuity ( BCVA ), preoperative corneal astigmatism, anticipated residual astigmatism, total astigmatism, postoperative residual astigmatism and Toric lens axis were detected and measured.
●RESULTS: All patients' visual acuity and best corrected visual acuity improved significantly. The mean refractive cylinder decreased significantly after surgery from (2. 05± 0. 57)D to (0. 55±0. 33)D (t = 13. 574, P<0. 05). There was no significant difference between preoperative ( 0. 47 ± 0. 19)D and postoperative corneal astigmatism (t = 1. 149, P > 0. 05 ). Three months after surgery, there was no significant difference between preoperative (2. 01±0. 58)D and postoperative (-1. 89±0. 53) D corneal astigmatism (t =1. 908, P> 0. 05). The rotation of intraocular lens were <20°, the mean rotation was 3. 65°±2. 86°.
●CONCLUSlON: The AcrySof lQ Toric lens make cataract patients enjoy the better UCVA including good rotational stability in the correct of corneal astigmatism. The AcrySof lQ Toric implantation is an effective option for the correct of preexisting corneal astigmatism in cataract surgery.

Objective To study the changes of learning-memory ability and synapse of hippocampus after radiation injuries. Methods Sprague-Dawley rats were grouped according to radiation dose to 20Gy group,30Gy group radiated by linear accelerator and control group were used before radiation and 120 days after radiation. Morris maze test were taken to study the learning and memory ability of rats in each group. Average escape latency and search strategy were scaled and analyzed in each group. The parameters of synapse in CA3 area of hippocampus were studied by using electron microscope and image analyzer. Results AEL of 20Gy group was (41. 17 ±10.76 ) s and score of SS was 27.13 ± 2.34 after 120 days' radiation but AEL of 30 Gy group was (78.49 ± 9.32)s and the score of SS was (23.19 ± 7.65 ) nm. There were significant statistic differences Compared with control group and before radiation (P < 0.05 ). The thickness of PSD of 20 Gy group was ( 22.03 ± 6.84 ) nm after 120days' radiation and (23.19 ± 7.65 )nm in 30 Gy group. There were significant statistic differences compared with control group and before radiation. It was observed that both in 20 Gy and 30 Gy group' s the length of synaptic activity area was shorter, the curvature of synaptic interface was smaller, the width of synaptic cleft and the thickness of PSD was narrower than that of control group. Conclusion There was close relation between the changes of learning-memory ability and synapse of hippocampus after radiation injuries.

Chinese Journal of Prevention and Control of Chronic Diseases 2006;0(06):-
Objective Abstract:Objective To inquire into the reason that chronic diabetic foot ulcer(CDF) was difficult to be cured by clarifying their interaction between interin-1?(IL-1?) and fibroblast proliferation, the activity and protein expression of matrix metalloproteinase-2(MMP-2),matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9)in fibroblasts from CDF.Method Fibroblast collected from the edge area of the diabetic foot ulcer was cultured for 4-6 generations, and added in with different concentration of IL-1? at the 24 hr,48 hr and 72 hr,then the effect of IL-1? on the activity and expression of MMP-2 and MMP-9 in fibroblasts were observed by methods of zymography and Western blott. Results There was a significant difference of IL-1? between CDF and acute diabetic lesions(ADL);IL-1? in 0.5 ng/ml-5 ng/ml could promote fibroblast proliferation obviously, but weakened gradually with increasing of the IL-1?,but no affection on fibroblast proliferation when IL-1? was in 50 ng/ml,and inhabited fibroblast proliferation over 50 ng/ml of IL-1?;IL-1? in 50 ng/ml increased the activity and protein expression of MMP-2 and MMP-9 in fibroblasts from CDF. Conclusion The reason that CDF was difficult to be cured were related to significant increase of IL-1?.The increase of IL-1? not only inhibits the fibroblast proliferation, but also promotes the activity and protein expression of MMP-2 & MMP-9,and it results in the increase of extracellular matrix degradation.

Chinese Journal of Organ Transplantation 2005;0(08):-
Objective To summary the clinical applied value of interventional therapy in hepatic venous outflow obstruction after orthotopic liver transplantation(OLT).Methods The clinical data of 27 patients suspect with hepatic outflow obstruction out of OLT patients were analyzed retrospec- tively. Most of them presented with liver dysfunction, like ascites, jaundice,or hydropsia of lower ex- tremity as BCS.These patients accepted venography and endovascular treatment if venous outflow ob- struction was found. Results By venography, one case of thrombus in inferior vena cava, one case of hepatic vein stenosis,13 cases of inferior vena cava stenosis(3 cases were associated with hepatic vein stenoses)were identified.Stent implantation was successfully performed on 10 patients, and balloon angioplasty on 4 patients.Rapid, dramatic resolution of symptoms was achieved in those patients. Hepatic vein restenosis occurred in one case 8 months after balloon dilatation, and treated with stent implantation.Inferior vena cava restenosis occurred in one case 2 years after balloon dilation, and trea- ted with another balloon expanding.Patients remained completely asymptomatic at 4 months to 5 years of follow-up.Conclusion The venacavographic balloon angioplasty and metallic stent replacement are safe and useful for post-OLT with venous outflow obstruction.

Objective To study the SRSF2 mutations in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients by using high-resolution melting analysis (HRMA). Methods PCR-HRMA analysis was performed to screen SRSF2 mutations in 140 cases with AML, and the direct DNA sequencing was used to confirm the HRMA results. Results Five percent (7/140) of AML patients were found with heterozygous SRSF2 mutations, including one case of P95R mutation, two case of P95L mutation, and four cases of P95H mutation, the above mutations were confirmed by direct DNA sequencing. The maximal sensitivity of HRMA in detecting SRSF2 mutation was close to 10%. There were no difference in gender, age and blood parameters among cases with or without SRSF2 mutations (P > 0.05). The overall survival (OS) of patients with SRSF2 mutations was inferior to those without SRSF2 mutations in AML patients (P=0.016). Conclusions HRMA analysis was a convenient, rapid, specific, high-throughput technique for scanning of SRSF2 gene mutations in AML patients. SRSF2 mutation may predict the adverse prognosis in AML patients.
