1.Contrastive study on the efficacy and safety between transcatheter patent ductus arteriosus closure and mini-incision transthoracic occlusion in children

Objective To evaluate efficacy and safety of transcatheter patent ductus arteriosus(PDA) closure compared with mini-incision transthoracic occlusion in children.Methods The safety and complications of 175 patients who underwent transcatheter closure(transcatheter group) hospitalized in Department of Pediatrics,Linyi People's Hospital were analyzed,the ages ranging from 3 months to 14 years,and the material used was Chinese homemade occluder except for the spring coil.Compared with the 157 patients who underwent mini-incision transthoracic occlusion (mini-incision group) hospitalized in Department of Heart Surgery,Linyi People's Hospital from Jan.2009 to Nov.2013,the ages ranging from 5 months to 14 years,the material used was same as the transcatheter group.Acquired data was processed through statistics.Results One hundred and seventy-one of the 175 patients achieved success in the transcatheter group,technically success rate was 97.71%,there were 8 patients with complications,but no death,the occurrence rate of complications was 4.57% ;however,137 of 157 patients achieved success in the mini-incision group,technically success rate was 87.26%,there were 21 patients with complications and 1 death,the occurrence rate of complications was 13.38%.Success rate of the transcatheter group was much higher than the mini-incision group(x2 =8.05,P < 0.01),while complications of the transcatheter group was significantly less than the mini-incision group(x2 =13.48,P < 0.01),and also the transcatheter group had less hemorrhage during operation,shorter operation time,shorter hospital stay and less hospital expenses compared with the mini-incision group [(0.021 ± 0.007) L vs (0.088 ± 0.027) L,(36.81± 7.19) minvs (88.65 ±27.92) min,(4.16±0.45) dvs (10.68 ±2.38) d,(27 943.6± 2754.1) RMBvs(35037.4±8659.2) RMB;t=29.23,22.19,33.44,18.47,allP<0.01].Conclusions Transcatheter PDA closure in children is better than mini-incision transthoracic occlusion because of its higher efficacy and lower risk,so it is the first choice of treatment to the children with PDA.

3.Analysis on curative effect and safety of Shang ring circumcision

Objective To compare the curative effect and safety of Shang ring circumcision and conventional circumcision .Methods Retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 329 adult patients who were admitted into our hospital from January 2013 to May 2015, including 205 cases of Shang ring circumcision and 124 cases of conventional circumcision .The operation time , intraoperative and postoperative VAS pain scores , intraoperative bleeding , wound healing time , complications , and degree of penile appearances and overall satisfaction between the two groups were compared .Results Compared with conventional circumcision , Shang ring circumcision was associated with shorter oper-ative time, less intraoperative blood loss , lower intraoperative and postoperative VAS pain scores , lower adverse event rate , higher penile ap-pearances and overall satisfaction , and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Shang ring circumcision may be a safer and more effective choice in comparison with conventional circumcision for male patients , as it can shorten the time of operation and save the cost of health care .
4.Ultrasonic elastography diagnosis of special type breast cancers

Objective To assess the value of ultrasonic elastography in the diagnosis of special type breast cancers. Methods Routine ultrasonograms, color Doppler flow images and elasticity images of 13 patients with special type breast cancer confirmed surgical pathologically were retrospectively analyzed. Results The score of mucinous carcinoma, inflammatory breast cancer (1 patient), lactation breast cancer, invasive micropapillary carcinoma, tubular carcinoma and invasive lobular carcinoma (2 patients) were 4-5. The score of 1 patient of invasive lobular carcinoma was 1 and 1 patient of lactation breast cancer was 3. The characteristics of color Doppler flow imaging of majority patients were varies, while no obvious lesion was observed in Paget's disease. Conclusion Ultrasonic elastography is helpful to the diagnosis of inflammatory breast cancer, lactation breast cancer, invasive micropapillary carcinoma of the breast, papillary carcinoma and tubular carcinoma of the breast. Early diagnosis of Paget's disease still depends on pathology.
5.Effect of ERK pathway inhibitor U0126 on cell cycle of leukemia K562 cell lines

Objective To study the mechanism of extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) pathway inhibitor U0126 on cell cycle of K562 cell lines. Methods The mRNA and protein expressions of ERK, Cyclin D2, Cyclin E in and P27 K562 cell lines after 10 ?mol/L U0126 treatment for 12, 24 and 72 h were detected by RT-PCR and Western blot, respectively. The cell cycle was determined by flow cytometry. Results The mRNA and protein expressions of ERK, Cyclin D2 and Cyclin E in K562 cell lines after U0126 treatment were decreased, while those of P27 were increased. The percentage of cells in G0/G1 phase was increased and that in S phase was decreased. OBJECTIVE: To establish hepatic carcinoma-bearing mouse model and to study the effect of the aqueous extract of Semen Litchi on the growth of solid tumor in mouse model. METHODS: S180 and hepatic carcinoma cells were mixed in a ratio of 1∶ 1 and diluted with N. S to form tumor-bearing ascites suspension. 24h before administration, each rat was inoculated hypodermically with 0. 2mL suspension, and the whole process was finished within 60min under asepsis condition. Then S180 and hepatic carcinoma cells of the mice were treated with Semen Litchi aqueous extract for 10 consecutive days and the growth of S180 and hepatic carcinoma cells, Bcl-2 expression in hepatic carcinoma-bearing mice and the apoptosis of hepatoma carcinoma cells were observed. 7.Clinical Observation of Modified Hezhong Powder for Treatment of Children Mesenteric Lymphadenitis

Objective To observe the clinical effect of modified Hezhong Powder for the treatment of children mesentetic lymphadenitis.Methods Sixty children with mesentetic lymphadenitis were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group.The control group was treated routine anti-inflammatory drug Cefaclor for Oral Suspension,and was given symptomatic treatment when necessary.The treatment group was given modified Hezhong Powder on the basis of treatment for the control group.The treatment course lasted for two weeks.After treatment,clinical efficacy and safety,and effects on relieving primary and secondary symptoms and on shortening the swollen lymph nodes were observed.Results (1) The total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.7%,and that of the control group was 83.3%,the difference being significant (P < 0.05).(2) The treatment group had better effect on relieving the primary symptom of abdominal pain,and secondary symptoms of poor appetite,vomiting,abdominal distention and abnormal stool than the control group.The differences of time for the symptoms disappearing were significant (P < 0.05).(3) After treatment,the swollen.lymph nodes of the two groups were shrunk(P < 0.05),and the shrinkage in the treatment group was superior to that of the control group (P <0.05).(4) During the treatment,no obvious adverse reaction occurred in the two groups.Conclusion Modified Hezhong Powder combined with western medicine is effective and safe for the treatment of children mesentetic lymphadenitis,and its efficacy is superior to that of the western medicine alone.
8.Construction of tissue-engineered corneal epithelium by culturing human amniotic mesenchymal stem cells in vitro

Background Corneal transplantation is an effective treatment to severe corneal diseases,but the shortage of cornea donor limits its application.Tissue-engineered cornea is being a new approach to corneal diseases.Objective This study was to investigate the possibility of construction of tissue-engineered corneal epithelium by culturing human amniotic mesenchymal stem cells (hAMSCs) in vitro.Methods Fresh human amniotic membranes were obtained under the approval of Ethic Committee of Affiliated First Hospital of Jinan University and informed consent of maternal women.The 6 cm×6 cm amniotic membrane tissue explant was digested using trypsin+ EDTA,and then the amniotic epithelial cells (AECs) were scraped before putting into collagenase Ⅱ digestion medium to isolate hAMSCs.hAMSCs of passage 3 were cultured to achive 80%-90% confluence,and then the ceils were incubated on rabbit deepithelial corneal stroma at a 1 ×105/ml density.The corneal stroma was co-cuhured with hAMSCs at an air-liquid interface till 14 days.Rabbit deepithelial corneal stroma with and without hAMSCs (experimental group and control group) were fixed in 4% para formaldehyde, and sections were prepared for histopathological examination.Immunochemistry and immunofluorescence were empoyed to detect the expressions of cytokeratin3 (CK3) and CK12 in hAMSCs.Results hAMSCs grew well and formed a stratified epidermal structure resembling native corneal epithelium on rabbit corneal stroma in cultured 14 days in the experimental group,with the oval nucleus at basement and fusiform nucleus on the surface of corneal stroma.There was no cell structure in the control group.Immunochemistry revealed brown staining for CK3, CK12 in cytoplasm of hAMSCs on the rabbits corneal stroma,and the green fluorescence for CK3 and CK12 was also seen in the hAMSCs.However,the response for CK3 and CK12 was absent in the control sections either immunochemistry or immunofluorescence test.Conclusions hAMSCs can be induced to differentiate into corneal epithelioid cells at an air-liquid interface on the rabbit corneal stroma.
10.Application of sequential method in training of primary anesthesia nurse

Objective To investigate the effect of sequential method in the training of primary anesthesia nurses. Methods A phased, gradual sequential method was used to train 11 primary anesthesia nurses. One-year full-course training was divided in 4 stages, each lasting 3 months. The theory and operational examination were held at the end of each stage and the tutoring teachers reported their comments. Result The mean scores of 11 primary anesthesia nurses were more than 90 points in both theory and operations examination, and the mean scores of tutor′s evaluation more than 85 points in each stage. Conclusion The sequential method can help primary anesthesia nurses to get better anesthesia-related knowledge, skill and clinical comprehensive ability, which set a solid foundation for their work of anesthesia care.
