OBJECTIVE To understand the resistant bacteria infection condition of earthquake casualty and provide evidence for reducing their transmission in hospital.METHODS The staff members of Department of Hospital Infection Management monitored the bacteria cultures and report 38 resistant bacteria infective wounded every day.Set up the system measures to manage resistant bacteria infection of earthquake casualty and monitored, guided and checked the implement countermeasures.RESULTS Among 419 samples, there were 70 resistant bacteria and 97.1% were G-bacteria,the main pathogens were Acinetobacter baumannii,Pseudomonas aeruginosa,Enterobacter cloacae,Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Escherichia coli. The main infective sites were respiratory tract and wounds. The resistant bacteria had the high drug resistance to the third and fourth cephalosporins, aminoglycosides and sulfonamides. The sensitive rate to amikacin,gentamicin,imipenem,piperacillin/tazobactam,sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim compound, tobramycin and nitrofurantoin.CONCLUSIONS Real-time monitoring the earthquake casualty with resistant bacteria infection can find the infective wounds in time and make effective intervention measures. It is the important method to prevent and control the hospital infection.

Objective To design an automatic exposure control circuit for X ray equipment to improve the performance of equipment and the quality of film. Methods The device acted in series control. During exposuring process, the X ray reaching the film through patient body was measured by ray sensor. After it was treated with integration, amplification and contrast management, the signal of X ray quantity drived the device to cut off exposure circuit, so that the exposure time was automatic any controlled. Results The effect of the device has been proved by its application in several hospitals. Conclusion The device is simple and effective and has practical value.

Objective To design a new X-ray sensor of iono-chamber type to achieve automatic exposure control(AEC) of the X-ray machine. Methods We designed the chamber acording to the ionization theory and the requirements of automatic exposure control. Results (1) The device had double-negative poles, so the distance between positive and negative poles was 1/2 shorter and its test-volume was equal to odd-negative pole. (2)It had good property of electromagnetism-resistance because of the double shielded design by double-negative poles and screen-rings.(3) Iono-chamber was made of low-density material, so it had low absorb-ratio of X-ray and could not form image on film. Conclusion The property of the device was steady and reliable. It had applying and spreading value.

Objective To study the influence of CRT brightness on image reading. Methods Both physical testing and compared viewing were used in the study. (1) Setting the CRT brightness at high and low grade (the blank brightness of CRT was 112 cd/m 2 and 82 cd/m 2, respectively). (2) 21 films with the density ranging from 0.27 to 2.71 were digitized by a scanner and displayed on the CRT. The brightness of CRT that varied with film density was measured by a bright meter, then the relation chart between CRT brightness and the film density was drawn. (3) Thirteen films on which there were many small and low contrast signals were viewed on CRT by three doctors. The tested data were calculated by statistics (? 2 test, the difference was significantly marked when P 0.05), but the signals viewed in the lung were 87 and 29, and the difference was significantly marked (? 2=53.73, P

OBJECTIVE To investigate the incidence of hospital infection in surgery intensive care unit(SICU) and to provide evidence for controlling hospital infection.METHODS Managers of hospital infection entered SICU from Jan to Jun in 2007 and monitored items of inpatients who stayed more than two days, such as incidence of hospital infection, infective sites, underlying diseases, invasive operation and time in hospital.Patients had been followed up for 2 days after moving out of SICU.RESULTS In 341 cases, the total incidence of hospital infection was 19.64%(67/341).Constituent ratio:respiratory tract infection was 68.65%(46/67),and urinary tract infection was 19.4%(13/67).Incidence of hospital infection in patients older than 60 years was 48.24%(41/85)and in patients younger than 60 years was 10.16%(26/256).There was significant difference between these two groups(?2= 58.60,P

Objective To compare and analyze the performance indexes and the imaging quality of the home and imported X-ray machines through testing their partial imaging performance parameters. Methods By separate sampling from 10 home and 10 imported X-ray machines, the parameters including tube current, time of exposure, machine total exposure, and repeatability were tested, and the imaging performance was evaluated according to the national standard. Results All the performance indexes met the standard of GB4505-84. The first sampling tests showed the maximum changing coefficient of imaging performance repeatability of the home X-ray machines was ?max1=0.025,while that of the imported X-ray machine was ?max1=0.016. In the second sampling tests, the maximum changing coefficients of the two were ?max2=0.048 and ?max2=0.022, respectively. Conclusion The 2 years′ follow-up tests indicate that there is no significant difference between the above-mentioned parameters of the elaborately adjusted home X-ray machines and imported ones, but the home X-ray machines are no better than the imported X-ray machines in stability and consistency.

Objective To examine the different effects of impulsive and aggressive personality on college students' suicide attempt. Methods Four thousand nine hundred eighteen sophomores and juniors were selected according to the principle of cluster sampling from Beijing agricultural university and Beijing university of information science and tech?nology. Four thousand seven hundred ninety-seven of them completed the survey. Their impulsive and aggressive person?ality were evaluated by the Barratt Impulsiveness Scale-Chinese Versions (BIS-CV) and the Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire-Chinese Versions (AQ-CV). A self-made questionnaire were used to investigate suicidal idea and self-in?jury/suicidal behavior of college students. Results Among the sophomores and juniors, 18 participants had self-injury/suicidal behavior (3.75‰) and 1843 had suicidal idea (38.42%). Compared with the students who didn’t have self-inju?ry/suicidal behavior, those who once had self-injury/suicidal behavior had significantly higher BIS-CV score (P<0.01) and higher scores of non-planning and motor factors (P<0.05). They also had significantly higher score in AQ-CV and the factors of physical aggression, verbal aggression, anger, hostility and pointing to the self attacks (P<0.01). Conclu? sions The college students with self-injury/suicidal behavior have higher tendency in impulsive and aggressive personali?ty. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent suicide behavior, form high impulsive and aggressive intention and behavior.

ObjectiveTo explore the relationship among 14 kinds of intolerant food by using association rules to provide evidence for more reasonable diet intake. Methods A total of 2962 adults who received medical examination at the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University during January 2008 and June 2010 were enrolled in this investigation.ELISA was used to detect allergen-specific IgG antibody of 14 kinds of food.An association rules model was established by SPSS Clementinel2.0.In order to find positive intolerance association rules, food frequency was recorded with SPSS 16.0.Results Five most commonly seen food intolerance were eggs, crabs, shrimp, milk, and cod (positive rates were 32.5%,26.0%,19.8%,13.8% and 12.0%,respectively).Positive association rules were found in crab and shrimp,or milk and eggs.Single order association was found in female, while multi-order association was identified in male. Conclusions Our data show a strong positive association among animal foods.Female may be affected by milk, eggs and seafood, while male may be affected by a variety of foods.
