1.Therapeutic value of atorvastatin combined bezafibrate on adjusting lipid therapy in patients with acute coronary syndrome
Chinese Journal of cardiovascular Rehabilitation Medicine 2015;24(6):637-640
Objective:To explore the therapeutic value of atorvastatin combined bezafibrate on adjusting lipid in pa‐tients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) .Methods :A total of 121 ACS patients who were treated in our hospital from Apr 2013 to Sep 2013 were enrolled .According to therapeutic method ,they were divided into bezafibrate group (n=60 ,received bezafibrate treatment based on routine treatment ) and combined treatment group (n=61 , received additional atorvastatin based on treatment of bezafibrate group ) .Levels of total cholesterol (TC) ,triglyc‐eride (TG) ,low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL‐C) and high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL‐C) ,stand‐ard‐reaching rate of blood lipid and incidence rate of adverse reactions were compared between two groups before and after treatment .Results:Before treatment ,there were no significant difference in all blood lipid levels between two groups , P> 0.05. Compared with before treatment ,levels of TC ,TG and LDL‐C significantly reduced and HDL‐C level significantly rose in both groups after treatment , P< 0.05 or < 0.01 ;Compared with bezafibrate group ,there were significant reductions in levels of TC [ (4.06 ± 0.49) mmol/L vs .(3.35 ± 0.29) mmol/L] ,TG [ (1.60 ± 0.33) mmol/L vs .(1.12 ± 0.21) mmol/L] and LDL‐C [ (2.18 ± 0.39) mmol/L vs .(1.91 ± 0.26) mmol/L] ,and significant rise in HDL‐C level [ (1.09 ± 0.21) mmol/L vs .(1.26 ± 0.26) mmol/L] ,P<0.05 all;and sig‐nificant rise in standard‐reaching rates of TC (41.67% vs .67.21% ) ,TG (61.67% vs .85.25% ) ,LDL‐C (36.67%vs .70.49% ) and HDL‐C (41.67% vs .90.16% ) in combined treatment group after treatment ,P<0.05 all .There was no significant difference in incidence rate of adverse reactions (11.48% vs .10.00% ) between combined treat‐ment group and bezafibrate group , P>0.05. Conclusion:Atorvastatin combined bezafibrate can significantly im‐prove blood lipid condition and possess good safety in ACS patients .

Purpose To investigate the clinicopathologic characteristics, differential diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of differentia-ted-type vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia ( dVIN) . Methods Clinicopathologic findings and immunophenotypes of 6 cases diagnosed as“dVIN” were retrospectively analyzed, and the relevant literatures were also reviewed. Results 6 patients were all female ranged 53~80 years old with mean age of 62 years old. Clinical aspects included leukoplakia vulvar, pruitis, irritation, pain, ulcer and so on. The histopathological features were hyperplasia of basal and parabasal layer with elongation and anastomosing reteridges. Cells were marked atypia with obvious nucleoli, atypical mitosis, and dyskeratosis. In the middle and surface layer, cells were well differentiated with pronounced intercellular bridges, and eosinophilic cytoplasm, hyperkeratosis and parakeratosis. Oedema and band of infiltration of chronic inflammatory cells of subepidermal could been seen. Immuohistochemistry showed the expression rates of p53 and p16 in totally 6 cases were 83. 3% (5/6), 0 (0/6), respectively. The Ki-67 index was more than 90% in basal and parabasal cells. Four patients were followed up ( mean follow-up 17 months, range 6~36 months) , one patient died at 9 months later after surgery, another patient recurred at 6 months later after surgery, both of the 2 cases were all with invasive lesions after resection, and the rest two cases had no recur in 18 months and 36 months after surgery, respectively. Conclusion dVIN is a high grade squamous intraepithelial lesions of vulvar with low incidence rate, but had more risk of progression. p53, p16 and Ki-67 stain were useful in the diagnosis of dVIN.

OBJECTIVE:To study in vitro bacteriostatic activity of the extracts from Miao medicine Polygonum runcinatum. METHODS:Using chloramphenicol and fluconazole as positive control, the inhibitory effects of water extract,95% ethanol extract and its ethyl acetate and n-butanol fraction on 9 kinds of strains were determined by cup plate method, such as Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli,Shigella flexneri,Salmonella typhi,Bacillus subtilis,Pseudomonas aeruginosa, type B Hemolytic streptococcus,Candida albicans and Cryptococcus neoformans. The parts with bacteriostatic activity and trial strains sensitive to drug were screened. Micro-broth dilution method and agar culture medium plate method were used to determine MIC and MBC of 95% ethanol extract and its fractions of P. runcinatum to sensitive strains. RESULTS:The water extract of P. runcinatum almost had no inhibitory effect. 95% ethanol extract showed different degrees of bacteriostatic activity to strains;bacteriostatic effects of it to 6 kinds of bacteria as S. typhi was better than that of type B H. streptococcus and 2 kinds of fungus. The ethyl acetate and n-butanol fraction of 95% ethanol extracts showed good bacteriostatic effect and the ethyl acetate fraction had stronger effect, while all the fractions of 95% ethanol extracts showed no inhibitory effect on fungus. MIC and MBC of 95%ethanol extract to above 6 kinds of bacteria were 6.25-12.5 and 12.5-25 mg/mL,respectively;MIC and MBC of ethyl acetate fraction were 3.13-6.25, 6.25-12.5 mg/mL; MIC and MBC of n-butanol fraction were 6.25-12.5, 12.5-25 mg/mL. CONCLUSIONS:95% ethanol extract, ethyl acetate and n-butanol fractions of Miao medicine P. runcinatum have obvious in vitro bacteriostatic activity to 6 common bacterias as S. typhi.
