Objective To investigate the association of expressions of cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2),matrix metanoproteinases-9(MMp-9)and Ki67 with occurrence, infiltration and metastasis of gastric cancer. Methods Fifty-eight surgically obtained and pathologically performed cancerous tissues were collected between Jan.2003 and Dec.2005.Among them,37 were males and 21 were females with mean age of 58.2 years(ranged from 31 to 76 years).Fifty-eight paracancerous tissues(5-6 cm apart form the cancer)were taken as controls. The expressions of COX-2,MMP-9 and Ki67 in cancerous or paracancerous tissues were examined by immunohistochemistry. Results The expressions of COX-2 and MMP-9 in cancerous tissues(82.76%and 68.9%,respectively)were higher than those in controls(37.93%and 24.14%,respectively,P<0.01).The expressions of COX-2 and MMP-9 were not associated with sex, age, location and size of gastric cancer(P>0.05),but were correlated with the depth of lymph node infiltration.metastasis and TNM stage(P<0.05).The expression of MMP-9 was also associated with the degree of differentiation of gastric cancer(P<0.05).There was a correlation between COX-2 and MMp-9 expressions in gastric cancer tissues(P<0.05,C=0.359).The expression of Ki67 in tissues with positive expressions of COX-2 and MMp-9 was higher than that in negative ones(P<0.O 1).Conclusion The COX-2,MMP-9 and Ki67 play important roles in metastasis and infiltration, which promote occurrence and development of gastric cancer.

AIM:To clarify the relationship between serum copper/zinc ratio(CZR) and histopathological classification as well as prognosis of Hodgkin's disease (HD). METHODS:The serum copper level(SCL),serum zinc level(SZL)and CZR were determined by atomic absorption spectrophotometry(AAS)in 135 patients with HD and 100 healthy individuals.RESULTS:The results showed that SCL and CZR were higher and SZL was lower in patients with HD than in healthy individuals (P<0.01). SCL and CZR were significantly higher in the patients with lymphocyte depleted type(LD)than mixed cellulal type(MC), SCL and CZR were higher in MC type than nodular sclerosis type(NS)and lymphocyte predominance type (LP)(P<0.01). It was also found that with the development of the disease, the SCL and CZR elevated but SZL dropped. And with the alleviation of the disease, the SCL and CZR rose while SZL dropped. While the illness is relieved and the SCL and CZR markedly dropped and SCZ rose. SCL and CZR were strongly correlated with histopathologic type and clinical stage of tumor.CONCLUSION:SCL, SZL and CZR are parameters useful for clarifying histopathological classification, clinical stage and prognosis of HD.

Objective To explore the diagnostic value of intravoxel incoherent motion diffusion-weighted imaging(IVIM-DWI)in diagnosis of different pathological types of lung cancer. Methods 45 patients were performed traditional MR and multi-b value DWI scan by GE discovery 750 MR.The values of Slow-ADC,Fast-ADC and ffast measured on a AW4.5 workstation were analyzed between the different pathological types of lung cancers. The correlations between these IVIM-DWI parameters and the serum tumor markers of lung cancer were analyzed. The diagnostic efficiency of these parameters were evaluated by receiver operator characteristic curve (ROC).Results 27 cases NSCLC(13 cases squamous carcinoma;14 cases adenocarcinoma )and 18 cases SCLC were finally included in this study. There were significant differences in Slow-ADC values between SCLC group and NSCLC group (P =0.00),the adenocarcinoma group (P=0.03),the squamous carcinoma group(P=0.01).There were no significant difference in Fast-ADC as well as ffast value between any two groups. The AUC of Slow-ADC value was 0.874.There existed negative correlation between squamous cell carcinoma antigen(SCC-Ag)of squamous carcinoma group and Slow-ADC(r=-0.730).Conclusion The Slow-ADC of IVIM-DWI parameters is useful in differential diagnosis of NSCLC and SCLC,which has the largest diagnostic efficiency. The correlation between SCC-Ag and Slow-ADC value has a certain meaning in diagnosing different pathological types of lung cancers.
5.Influencing factors of long-term hospitalization in patients with schizophrenia
Chinese Journal of Modern Nursing 2022;28(4):500-505
Objective:To analyze influencing factors of long-term hospitalization (hospitalization time≥1 year) in patients with schizophrenia, so as to provide clinical evidence for the transformation of mental health services in local hospitals. Methods:A total of 475 patients with schizophrenia who were hospitalized in Wuxi Mental Health Center Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University from 2018 to 2019 were included in the study by cluster sampling. Patients with hospitalization time greater than or equal to 1 year were included in the long-term hospitalization group and those with hospitalization time less than 1 year were included in the short-term hospitalization group. General patient information and hospitalization information were obtained from the electronic medical record system, and evaluative interviews were conducted to compare demographic and clinical characteristics of the two groups. Logistic regression model was used to analyze the influencing factors of long-term hospitalization. Results:There were 251 patients in long-term hospitalization group, occupying 17.92% of the total hospital beds. The main characteristics were male (64.1%, 161/251) , single (82.1%, 206/251) , urban registered residence (76.5%, 192/251) , medical insurance payment (95.2%, 239/251) , disease course over 5 years (96.8%, 243/251) and paranoid schizophrenia (57.0%, 143/251) . Multivariate regression analysis showed that the influencing factors of long-term hospitalization for schizophrenia included the course of disease ( OR=6.178, 95% CI: 2.216-17.227) , the score of Global Assessment of Function ( OR=5.484, 95% CI: 3.023-9.950) , family caregivers ( OR=5.044, 95% CI: 2.747-9.262) , medical payment ( OR=4.029, 95% CI: 1.662-9.770) , age ( OR=3.349, 95% CI: 1.962-5.714) , the score of Insight and Treatment Attitudes Questionnaire ( OR=2.939, 95% CI: 1.657-5.213) and marital status ( OR=2.544, 95% CI: 1.376-4.703) . Conclusions:The long-term hospitalization of patients with schizophrenia is affected by many factors, mainly related to the course of the disease, overall function, insight, family caregivers, medical insurance payment and demographic factors. It requires the collaboration of families, hospitals and society to improve hospital outcomes for patients with mental disorders.
