Chinese Medical Ethics 2017;30(2):169-172
The professional quality of counselors directly affects the growth of medical students and the effect of school education management. At present, the counselors' professional quality is at an overall high level in medical universities and colleges in Xinjiang that can be competent for the job requirements. However, there still exist some problems. For example, the structure of cultural knowledge is unreasonable, the professional proficiency needs to be improved, the psychological quality needs to be strengthened, and so forth.Changing the knowledge and ideas, establishing a long-term mechanism, and the counselors themselves recognizing consciously and promoting initiative are the way to improve the counselors' professional qualities in medical universities and colleges in Xinjiang.

Chinese Journal of Clinical Nutrition 2014;22(6):376-380
Objective To evaluate the effect of community nurse training in peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) on community nursing quality of tumour patients with indwelled PICC during the intermission of chemotherapy. Methods A prospective study was performed with a total of 220 patients with esophageal or lung cancer enrolled from September 2011 to March 2013 in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery, the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. The 220 patients included 174 males (79.1%) and 46 females (20.9%),at the age of (61.1 ±9.0) years. With the start of community nurse training as the cut-off line, the patients were divided into pre-training group (n =119) and post-training group (n =101).PICC-related complications and patient satisfaction were compared between the 2 groups. Results The overall PICC-related complication rate was 20.9% (46/220) during community nursing, including,in the order of declining incidence, infection (7.2%,16/220),and venous thrombosis (4.5%,10/220),catheter occlusion (3.6%,8/220),catheter dropping (2.7%,6/220),and leaking/damage (2.7%,6/220).The total complication rate and incidence of infection in the post-training group were both significantly lower than those in the pre-training group (14.9% vs.26.1%,P =0.047 ; 3.0% vs.10.9%,P =0.035),and patient satisfaction (including satisfaction for answers to questions about PICC,feelings about PICC indwelling and PICC position, and overall satisfaction) was significantly higher than in the pre-training group (P =0.003,P =0.011,P =0.001).Conclusion Community nurse training programmes have positive effects on improving PICC-related nursing and patient satisfaction in cancer patients with PICC indwelling during intermissions of chemotherapy.

Objective To analyze the epitopes of anti-hepatitis C virus(HCV)antibodies by peptide library biopanning. Methods Phage random peptide library of 12 amino acids was immunoscreened with purified IgG from the sera of hepatitis C patients. Positive clones which were obtained after 3 rounds of biopanning were detected by ELISA and 4 of them were sequenced. Results After 3 rounds of screening, the radio of output to input increased from (4.6×10~(-4))% to (5.3×10~(-2))%, meaning the enrichment was effective. At the third round of screening, all the selected clones proved to specifically react with the sera for immunoscreening. Four positive phage clones were sequenced, which shared a very conservative sequence and was named as C1. Its inserting sequence in the coat protein III was deduced to be GSMSPYVRWYTP, and the positive rate of C1 reacted with 20 cases of HCV patients was 85%.Conclusion The antigen-mimic peptide C1 is successfully screened from 12 random phage peptide library and it has some diagnostic value.

Objective To explore the effect of nursing students' factors on the teaching effect of nurse patient communication experience . Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted among 208 nursing students who received nurse-patient communication experience teaching. Research content included nursing students' subjective factors and objective factors, and non-technical expertise. The training effect factors affecting the personal factors questionnaire, self-made demographic characteristics questionnaire andnursing soft skills assessment scale were adopted to make evaluation and SPSS 17.0 was used to make correlation analysis to the obtained data. Result For respondents, the factors such as one-child in general demographic characteristics and social work experience had correlation with the teaching effect (r=0.270, 0.725; P=0.000, 0.010). Nursing students' non-professional and technical capacity, personal characteristics and the teaching effect were correlated with the teaching effect, among which the nursing students' interper-sonal relationship, organization and management skills, self-efficacy, learning power had the correlation coefficients with the teaching effect of 1.000, 0.725, 0.192 and 0.470, P<0.05, respectively. Conclusion In the teaching process, it has positive effect on the teaching effect to create the practice condition, increase the favorable factors, and guide the self awareness of nursing students.

This study was aimed to analyze the bioinformatics of proteomics of rat bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) intervened by active principle region of Yang-Xin Tong-Mai Formula (apr-YTF). The latest versions of bioinformatics tools including DAVID (http://david.abcc.ncifcrf.gov/) and GO (http://www.geneontology.org/) were combined to assign a precise function to rat bone marrow MSCs intervened by apr-YTF. KEGG and VISANT were assigned with a precise function to rat bone marrow MSCs intervened by apr-YTF. The results showed that a total of 102 biological processes were mainly involved, with 35 cellular components and 6 molecular functions. These proteins interacted in 3 signal transduction pathways. It was concluded that the following proteins and signal transduction pathways played an important role in the process of apr-YTF inducing BMSCs differentiation into cardiomyocytes. Presenilin-1 and Presenilin-2 were in the Notch signaling pathway. And syntaxin-4 protein was in soluble N-ethylmaleimide sensitive fusion protein attachment protein (SNARE). The apr-YTF played a role on MSCs from multiple sites, with multiple links through different biological processes. The bioinformatics of proteomics can predict action mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) from the holism concept. The validation in combination with molecularbiology was a good way for TCM modernization.
