A questionnaire is carried out in order to understand the status quo of life view among medical students in our college.The analysis of the data shows there are deviations in treating death,significance of life,life value,etc.Therefore,we conclude that it's imminent to strengthen the life-education for medical students.

Objective To study the relationship between the polymorphism of interleukin-12B (IL-12B)gene and coronary heart disease.Methods We recruited 256 patients with coronary heart disease admitted to our department as the study group and 256 normal subjects as the control group.The polymorphism of IL-12B gene was detected by polymerase chain reaction and single nucleotide polymorphism.Coronary artery stenosis,visfatin,high sensitive C reactive protein and cardiac function were determined.Results The difference in rs15677380 and rs14050311 allele frequencies between the study group and the control group was significant (χ2 =6.19,7.24,P=0.045,0.021).The G allele of rs15677380 and C allele of rs14050311 were risk factors for coronary heart disease (OR=1.32,1.49).Conclusion IL-12B gene is associated with the occurrence and development of carotid atherosclerosis and participates in the development of coronary heart disease.

Objective To optimize the cerebral ischemia-reperfusion process for acute ischemic stroke patients,so as to reduce the time of in-hospital delays.Methods A multi-disciplinary management team was established to design the flowchart of the cerebral ischemia-reperfusion process for acute ischemic stroke patients.By applying Healthcare Failure Mode and Effect(HFMEA) management mode,intervention was conducted and its effect was analyzed.Results After implementation of the HFMEA intervention,the door to needle time(DNT)was reduced from 88 (42,140) minutes to 45 (37,59) minutes(P＜0.001);the ratio of patients with the DNT＜60 minutes increased from 20％ to 87.7％(P＜0.001);the door to cerebral ischemia-reperfusion time was shortened from 207(169,227) minutes to 165(155,185) minutes (P＜O.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence and mortality of symptomatic cerebral hemorrhage between before and after intervention (P＞0.05).Conclusion Utilization of HFMEA to optimize the emergency cerebral ischemia-reperfusion process can effectively reduce the in-hospital delays of acute ischemic stroke patients.

Objective To explore the relationship between personality traits and facial emotion rec?ognition. Methods By opening recruitment,268 health undergraduates were measured using Eysenck Per?sonality Questionnaire and JACFEE facial emotion recognition test. Correlation analysis was administrated be?tween different gender,personality dimensions and facial emotion recognition ability. Results Female had better emotion recognition ability than male((44.18±5.83) vs (41.88±6.79), t=-2.976, P=0.003). There were significant differences among recognition frequency of no?expression picture to other basic facial emo?tions(χ2=37.877, P=0.004) . There were correlative relations between personality dimensions and facial e?motion recognition. Among choleric temperament personality,P dimension had negative correlation with fear emotion( r=-0.223, P=0.028). N dimension had negative correlation with fear emotion( r=-0.253, P=0.013) . Among sanguineous temperament personality,E dimension had negative correlation with contempt e?motion( r=-0.258, P=0.027) ,and P dimension had positive correlation with contempt emotion( r=-0.239, P=0.042).Among melancholic temperament,E dimension had positive correlation with fear emotion( r=0.283, P=0.023) ,and P dimension had positive correlation with amazing emotion( r=0.299, P=0.016) . A?mong phlegmatic temperament, there was no any correlation between personality dimension and emotion recognization. Conclusion Female has better emotion recognition ability than male. There is cognitive tend?ency between personality character and emotion recognition.

Objective To observe the effects of Simvastatin on myocardial apoptosis and oxidative stress mechanism in immature rabbits with chronic heart failure.Methods Thirty-six male New Zealand big-eared immature rabbits were randomly divided into 3 groups:Adriamycin(ADR) ± Simvastatin group(ADR-s group,n =12),in which ADR(1.5 mg/kg) received injection via the auricular vein of rabbits weekly,and the rabbits received oral Simvastatin [1.5 mg/(kg · d)] simultaneously for 12 weeks;ADR group (n =12),in which the rabbits received ADR like ADR-S group,and 9 g/L saline instead of Simvastatin;control group (CON group,n =12),which received the same amount of 9 g/L saline.Echocardiography examination was performed in 13th week.Myocardial fibrosis degree was detected by using MASSON staining,and the myocardial apoptosis was detected by using terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick end labeling.Colorimetric method was used to detect the myocardial concentration superoxide dismutase (SOD) and malondialdehyde (MDA).Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to detect serum B-type brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) level.Results (1) In CON group,the immature rabbits were all alive.Four rabbits died in ADR group,and the survival rate was 66.7％,while 2 rabbits died in ADR-s group,and the survival rate was 83.3％.(2)Compared with CON group,the left ventricular end diastolic diameter (LVEDd) and left ventricular end systolic diameter (LVESd) in ADR-s group and ADR group increased [(11.90 ±1.09) mm,(ll.34 ±0.92) mm vs.(10.73 ±0.48) mm;(9.80 ±0.88) mm,(8.47 ± 1.23) mm vs.(7.31 ±0.36) mm];left ventricular fractional shortening(LVFS) and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) decreased [(17.65 ± 1.70)％,(22.58 ± 2.19)％ vs.(31.79 ± 2.58) ％;(41.35 ± 3.19) ％,(49.17 ± 3.53) ％ vs.(64.34 ± 3.97) ％],and all the differences were significant(all P ＜ 0.05);LVEDd and LVESd in ADR-s group were lower than those of ADR group,while LVEF and LVFS in ADR-s group were higher than those of ADR group,and the differences were significant(all P ＜ 0.05).(3)MASSON staining:compared with ADR group,there was less myocardial cell hyperplasia of fibrous tissue in ADR-s group.(4) Compared with CON group,the apoptosis index was higher in ADR and ADR-s group [(34.25 ±11.13) ％,(24.00 ±6.85)％ vs.(16.58 ± 5.34)％],but ADR-s group had less than ADR group,and the differences were significant (all P ＜ 0.05).(5) Compared with ADR group,SOD activity of ADR-s group was higher [(13.40 ± 2.68) kU/L vs.(10.66 ± 2.99) kU/L],but MDA content was lower [(5.67 ± 1.36) μmol/mg vs.(7.08 ±0.98) μmol/mg],and the differences were significant (all P ＜0.05).(6) Serum BNP level in ADR group and ADR-s group was higher than that of the CON group[(33.28 ±9.58) μg/L,(26.71 ±6.72) μg/L vs.(13.56 ±2.82) μg/L],while was higher in ADR group than that of ADR-s group,and the differences were significant (all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Simvastatin can protect cardiac function of immature rabbits with chronic heart failure.The possible mechanism may be the up-regulation of myocardial SOD activity,reduction of cell lipid peroxidation and inhibition of myocardial apoptosis.

Objective: To explore sarcoplasmic reticulum ryanodine receptor2 (RyR 2) expression and calcium releasing function in chronic heart failure (CHF) rabbits and to study the impact of long term valsartan treatment in relevant animals. Methods: HF model was established by volume overloading with pressure overloading in experimental rabbits. 27 rabbits were divided into 3 groups: Sham group, HF group and HF+valsartan group. n=9 in each group and the animals were treated for 7 weeks. Left ventricular structure, hemodynamic parameters, expression and functional changes of myocardiocyte sarcoplasmic reticulum RyR 2 were observed and compared among different groups. Results: Compared with Sham group, HF group had increased left ventricular mess index (LVMI), left ventricular end diastolic pressure (LVEDP) and decreased left ventricular shortening fraction, LVEF, all P<0.05. Compared with HF group, HF+valsartan group showed decreased LVMI, LVEDP and increased left ventricular shortening fraction, LVEF, all P<0.05. Sarcoplasmic reticulum RyR 2 expression and calcium releasing function were lower in HF group than Sham group, P<0.05; while they were both higher in HF+valsartan group than HF group, P<0.05. Conclusion: Long term application of valsartan could improve the cardiac function which might be related to increased myocardial sarcoplasmic reticulum RyR 2 expression and calcium releasing function in experimental CHF rabbits.

The Health Environment Promotion Campaigns (HEPCs) focus on the major environmental health issues and relevant factors of concern among the general public, and promote the achievement of the national health goal. Based on the summary and analysis of the background, key indicators, specific actions in different domains of the HEPCs, this paper proposes suggestions for scientifically implementing HEPCs from five aspects, namely, formulating implementation plans, establishing pilot areas, building comprehensive service platforms, improving the health literacy of residents and strengthening the development of protection technologies and standards.

Objective:To compare the value of difference between thromboelastogram (TEG), coagulation function and mean platelet volume (MPV)/platelet count (PLT) ratio in sepsis patients with short-term prognosis.Methods:A total of 271 patients with sepsis admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from January 2020 to September 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. The clinical data of the patients were recorded, and the SOFA score and APACHE Ⅱ score were calculated. The patients were followed up within 28 days and were divided into the survival group and death group. The TEG, coagulation function and MPV/PLT ratio were compared between the two groups. The independent prognostic factors of Angle, CI, AT-Ⅲ, D-Di and MPV/PLT ratio were confirmed by Logistic regression analysis. The combination of Angle + CI + AT-Ⅲ + D-Di +MPV/PLT ratio was established, and the ROC curve was drawn to evaluate the prognostic value of Angle, CI, AT-Ⅲ and D-Di combined with MPV/PLT ratio in patients with sepsis.Results:The mortality rate of patients with sepsis was 42.4%. The D-Di and MPV/PLT ratio of the death group were significantly higher than those of the survival group, and the differences were statistically significant. Angle, CI and AT-III in the death group were significantly lower than those in the survival group, and the differences were statistically significant. Logistic regression analysis showed that Angle, CI, AT-Ⅲ, D-Di and MPV/PLT ratio were independent predictors of the prognosis of patients with sepsis (all P < 0.05) . The area under the curve of the combined detection of Angle, CI, AT-Ⅲ, D-DI and MPV/PLT ratio to evaluate the prognosis of sepsis at 28 days was 0.931, which was larger than that of Angle, CI, AT-Ⅲ, D-Di and MPV/PLT ratio alone (0.755, 0.790, 0.776, 0.729 and 0.746). The sensitivity and specificity of the combination of Angle, CI, AT-Ⅲ, D-Di and MPV/PLT ratio were 83.5% and 91.0%, which were also higher than those of the single index . Conclusions:Angle, CI, AT-Ⅲ, D-Di and MPV/PLT ratio are independent prognostic predictors of patients with sepsis. The combination of Angle, CI, AT-Ⅲ, D-Di and MPV/PLT ratio has high sensitivity and specificity in evaluating the prognosis of sepsis.

Objective: To study the relationship between ABO blood type and spontaneous re-canalization (SR) in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Methods: A total of 1209 consecutive AMI patients were enrolled. Based on TIMI grade, the patients were divided into 2 groups: Non-SR group, the patients with TIMI grade 0-1,n=442 and SR group, the patients with TIMI grade 2-3,n=767. The relationship between ABO blood type and SR was investigated. Results: Compared with Non-SR group, SR group had more patients with blood type O (32.3% vs 24.7%) and less blood type A (31.7% vs 24.9%). Meanwhile, we found that a lower cholesterol level was related to patients with O blood type and SR occurrence, bothP<0.05. Multi regression analysis indicated that with adjusted age, gender, BMI, hypertension, diabetes, smoking, LDL-C and C-reactive protein, ESR, fibrinogen, D-dimmer, endothelial cardiac function, blood type O may independently predict SR occurrence in AMI patients (OR=1.49, 95% CI 1.10-2.05), while blood type A may have disadvantage for SR (OR=0.65, 95% CI 0.48-0.80). Conclusion: ABO blood type has been related to SR in AMI patients, blood type O is in favor of SR, while blood type A has disadvantage for SR occurrence.

Objective To explore the feasibility and efficacy of endoscopic balloon dilation in treatment of esophageal stenosis caused by operation of congenital esophageal atresia. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on data of 218 children with type Ⅲ esophageal atresia, who underwent surgery in Zhengzhou Children' s Hospital from January 2009 to December 2017. The occurrence of postoperative complications and efficacy of endoscopic balloon dilation in treatment of esophageal stenosis was analyzed. Results Among the 218 patients with congenital esophageal atresia, 92 were type Ⅲa and 126 were type Ⅲb. Postoperative anastomotic leakage occurred in 46 cases (21. 1％), including 29 (31. 5％) of type Ⅲa and 17 (13. 5％) of type Ⅲb. Postoperative anastomotic stenosis occurred in 53 cases (24. 3％), including 29 ( 31. 5％) of type Ⅲa and 24 ( 19. 0％) of typeⅢb. The incidence of anastomotic leakage and anastomotic stenosis in different types was significantly different (χ2=10. 383, P=0. 001; χ2=4. 497, P=0. 034). The 53 cases of anastomotic stenosis underwent 123 times of endoscopic balloon dilation, with mean time of 3. 5±1. 6, and were finally clinically recovery. No esophagus perforation occurred. Among them, 29 cases of type Ⅲa underwent 73 times with mean of 4. 0±1. 8, and 24 cases of type Ⅲb underwent 50 times with mean of 2. 5±0. 7. The difference between the two types was statistically significant (t=-4. 053, P=0. 027). Conclusion Children with type Ⅲa esophageal atresia has a higher incidence of anastomotic stenosis and leakage, and more times of esophageal dilation. Endoscopic balloon dilation is safe and effective in treatment of esophageal stenosis after surgery for patients with congenital esophageal atresia.
