Src family kinases (SFKs) are the largest non-receptor tyrosine kinase family and play key roles in the regulation of cell morphology,proliferation,growth,adhesion,and motility.The activation of src kinases couples with many signals input on cell surface,including growth factor,cytokine,immune cell receptor,G protein-coupled receptor,integrin,and other cell adhesion molecules.In addition,as an important molecular switch connecting many extracellular and intracellular important signaling pathways,src kinases also play an important role in the occurrence of cerebrovascular diseases.

Objective:To evaluate the usefulness of Periocheck in clinical application before and after periodontal curettage.Methods:Periocheck was applied in 65 sites in 65 adult patients with periodontitis within 15 min before and after scaling and root planing to monitor peptidase activity produced by Porphyromones gingivalis (Pg),Treponema denticola(Td) and Bacterides forsythus (Bf) in subgingival plaque. The peptidase activity was determined both spectrophotometrically and by using color standard.Results:The peptidase concentrations (Try U/L) before and after treatment were 0.44±0.23 and 0.34±0.26 (P<0.05),while Periocheck positiveness was found in 65/65 and 43/65 (P<0.01) of the patients,respectively.After treatment clinical parameters such as GI, PD,AL and peptidase concentration decreased (P<0.05) in 22 Periocheck positive patients,while those did not (P>0.05) in 43 negitive.Conclusion:Periocheck might provide a promising chair-side monitoring tool for the evaluation of scaling and root planing.

Rectal carcinoma is a common malignant tumor in China. Although it decreased greatly after the introduction of total mesorectal excision and preoperative radiotherapy, the local recurrence rate of rectal carcinoma after curative surgery is still up to 11.3%. Surgery is the most effective treatment for local recurrence of rectal carcinoma. If excised radically, the five-year survival of patients with rectal carcinoma could be more than 35%. Only a few patients will benefit from ex-tended radical surgery because of its extremely high postoperative morbidity and mortality. Strict selection of patients by mul-tiple preoperative examinations makes extended radical surgery more reasonable. For the unresectable advanced recurrent rectal carcinoma, multimodality palliative therapy could lead to symptom relief, elevated quality of life and prolonged surviv-al. We discuss the diagnosis and treatment of recurrent rectal carcinoma in this review.

Objective: To determine the distribution of Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans (Aa) in subgingival plaques in the patients with chronic periodontitis(CP). Methods: Samples of subgingival plaque were detected for Aa distribution by oligonucleotide probe from 60 sites of CP patients and 10 healthy sites of healthy people.Each sample was obtained from each site of each people. Results: Aa was detected in 19 out of 60 diseased sites(31.67%); Aa wasn't detected in healthy sites.The age(28.68±7.33) of Aa-positive patients was younger than that (44.48±12.48) of Aa-negative patients(P<0.05).Conclusion: Aa is possibly to cause chronic periodontal infection in younger people.

Objective:To study the gene expression in periodontal ligament cells (PDLCs) stimulated by Prevotella intermedia(Pi) lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Methods:PDLCs of passage 7 were treated with Pi LPS at 100 ?g/ml for 24 h, then gene express of the cells was examined by a gene chip of 512 genes. Results: Genes of Z46973,M62810,AF109632,U45879,X81882,M10051,D14520 and L36529 were downregulated.Conclusion:Some genes in PDLCs can be downregulated by Pi LPS.

Objective To evaluate the performance of the remifentanil target-controlled infusion(TCI) system(Minto model) during laparoscopic surgery under inhalation and intravenous anesthesia.Methods A total of 15 patients scheduled for laparoscopic surgery received remifenanil by TCI,and the anesthesia was maintained with inhalation of isoflurane and intermittent intravenous vecuronium.The target remifentanil plasma concentration(Cp) was increased step by step,with the concentration changed at intervals of 30 minutes.The beginning Cp was 3 ng/ml,then increased to 6 ng/ml,9 ng/ml.Blood samples were taken from radial arterial before anesthesia induction and 30 minutes after adjustment of Cp to determine the concentration of remifentanil using high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(HPLC/MS/MS).The performance of the TCI system was evaluated by median performance error(MDPE),median absolute performance error(MDAPE) and wobble.Results The MDPE,MDAPE and wobble of the remifentanil TCI system were 8.78%,16.11% and 14.55%,respectively.The measured concentrations of remifentanil were positively correlated with Cp(r=0.891,P=0.000).The linear equation was Y∧ =1.1046X+0.1837.Conclusions The remifentanil TCI system with Minto pharmacokinetic model can meet the requirements of clinical anestehesia for Chinese patients within clinical treating concentration.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of uterine incision diverticulum type repair after cesarean section treated by laparoscopy and transvaginal combined with repair in.order to provide the reference for the clinical operation scheme selection.Methods Fifty-two patients who underwent uterine incision diverticulum type repair after cesarean section in the Second People's Hospital of Jingzhou were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 26 cases in each.Patients in the observation group were treated with laparoscopy combined with repair treatment,and patients in the control group were treated with transvaginal repair treatment.The operation periods,cut bleeding volume,postoperative anal exhaust time for the first time,postoperative highest temperature and length of hospital stay were recorded to evaluate the repair and uterine diverticula recovery at 3 months after operation.Results The operation periods in the observation group was (119.91 ± 35.73) min,longer than that in the control group ((62.32 ± 31.83) min ; t =3.514,P ＜0.05).There were on significant differences between two groups in terms of the amount of bleeding,anal discharge first time,the highest postoperative temperature and contrast after a few days in hospital (P＞ 0.05).After treatment,the observation group menstrual recovery rate was 84.62％ and 88.46％ in the control group.The differences were not statistically significant (x2 =1.14,1.76,P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopy hemiorrhaphy and transvaginal repair are effective treatment for uterine incision diverticulum after caesarean operation.The corresponding treatment plan can be made according to the patient's condition.

Objective To evaluate the short-term effects of three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy (3D-CRT) associated with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) in the treatment of primary hepatic carcinoma and 3D-CRT associated with chemotherapy in the treatment of metastatic hepatic carcinoma. Methods In 52 patients with primary hepatic carcinoma, first of all a single TACE was conducted. Then after an interval of 2 weeks, the conformal radiotherapy was given, with a radiation dose of 2~3 Gy every fraction, once daily or once every other day and 3~5 fractions every week. The total radiation dose to the target was 42.2~60.0 Gy (mean, 52.2 Gy). Afterwards, 2 additional TACEs were given after the radiotherapy. In 35 patients with metastatic hepatic carcinoma, chemotherapy was carried out for 1 treatment course firstly. Then 3D-CRT was employed. After the radiotherapy, another 2 courses of consolidating chemotherapy were administrated. The patient continued with the chemotherapy for additional 3 treatment courses (a total of 6 courses) if efficacy evaluation showed the patient had responded to the chemotherapy. Results The response outcomes were: complete remission (CR) 23 0% (20/87), partial remission (PR) 39 1% (34/87), stable disease (SD) 34 5% (30/87) and progressive disease (PD) 3 4% (3/87), the response rate (RR) being 62 1% (54/87). Conclusions 3D-CRT with TACE for primary hepatic carcinoma and 3D-CRT with chemotherapy for metastatic hepatic carcinoma offers high local control rates and good short-term effects.

Objective To study clinical value of blood glucose, AFP and cholinesterase levels on the diagnosis and prognosis of severe hepatitis. Methods Retrospective analysis of chronic hepatitis B, cirrhosis, chronic severe hepatitis, subacute severe hepatitis was carried out. In severe hepatitis patients, between the improved group and death group, blood glucose, AFP, cholinesterase differences, evaluate blood glucose, alpha-fetoprotein, cholinesterase levels on the diagnosis and prognosis of severe hepatitis value were compared. Results Subacute severe hepatitis, chronic severe hepatitis patients and blood cholinesterase levels were significantly lower than that in patients with chronic hepatitis B and liver cirrhosis(all P ＜ 0.05) ;and alpha-fetoprotein level was significantly higher than the level of chronic hepatitis B patients(P ＜ 0. 01) ;improved levels of blood glucose in patients with severe hepatitis, AFP, cholinesterase levels were significantly higher than the level of death group (all P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion Blood glucose, AFP, cholinesterase levels of liver disease progression and prognosis were important to determine the value.

Objective To investigate the association among daytime sleepiness,serum tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α levels and microarousal in patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS).Methods Forty male patients with OSAHS conformed by apnea hypopnea index(AHI)during sleep monitoring of polysomnography were selected as OSAHS group,15 healthy subjects were selected as control group.The level of serum TNF-α was measured by ELISA.The Epworth sleepiness(EP)scale was used in two groups.Results The level of serum TNF-α in OSAHS group[(18.42±6.23)ng/L]was significantly higher than that in control group[(9.75±3.12)ng/L],P＜0.01.The EP scale and micmarousal index were signifieand yhigher in OSAHS group than those in control group[(16.9±4.7)acores vs(4.5±2.3)dcores,(33.6±16.9)times/h vs(11.3±7.3)times/h,P＜0.01].The EP scale in OSAHS group was positively correlated with the levels of serum TNF-α(r=0.461,P＜0.01),AHI(r=0.443,P＜0.01)and microarousal index(r=0.751,P＜0.01)respectively.The levels of serum'INF-α in patients with OSAHS were also positively correlated with microarousal index(r=0.373,P＜0.01).Conclusions The levels of serum TNF-α and mieroarousal index are increased in patients with 0SAHS.The microarousal related to OSAHS plays an important role on the daytime sleepiness,the unusual levels of serum TNF-α maybe lead to interferen of sleepiness.
