The effectiveness and professionalism of hospice care services for children with cancer are of great significance for improving their quality of life and reducing the mental and economic burden on their families. Currently, a relatively complete quality evaluation system for hospice care for children with cancer has been established abroad, while research in this field in China is still in its infancy. By elaborating on the concept and connotation of quality assessment of hospice care for children with cancer in detail, systematically reviewing the research status of quality assessment of hospice care for children with cancer abroad, and addressing the problems and challenges faced by quality assessment of hospice care for children with cancer in China, corresponding inspirations and improvement strategies were proposed, aiming to provide a reference for improving the quality of hospice care for children with cancer in China.

Objective To build a comprehensive evaluation system for the operating benefit of clinical departments in cancer hospitals,so as to provide data support for the fine operation management of hospitals. Methods Literature review and semi-structured interview were used to form the index pool. Two rounds of Delphi expert consultation were used to determine the index of the evaluation system, and the analytic hierarchy process was used to determine the index weight. Finally, the weighted TOPSIS was used for empirical case analysis. Results The positive coefficient in the two rounds of Delphi expert consultation were 82.6%and 100%,the authority coefficient was 0.808,and the coordination coefficient was between 0 and 1.All indexes at all levels passed the consistency test. Finally,a comprehensive evaluation system consisting of 4 dimensions,19 indexes in surgery,16 indicators in radiotherapy and 16 indicators in internal medicine was constructed.Indicators at all levels were tested for consistency, resulting in the construction of a comprehensive evaluation system consisting of 4 dimensions,19 indicators for surgery and 16 indicators each for radiotherapy and internal medicine departments. Conclusion The comprehensive evaluation system of operating benefit of clinical departments in cancer hospitals can help hospitals and departments to find out the shortcomings of operation, build the path of operating benefit improvement, and realize the connotation improvement and high-quality development of hospitals.

Objective:To systematically evaluate the qualitative research on the decision-making participation experience of parents of terminally ill neonates in neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).Methods:Qualitative research on the decision-making participation experience of parents of terminally ill neonates in NICU were searched from PubMed,Web of Science,Embase,CINAHL,Cochrane Library,Sinomed,China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI),Wanfang, and VIP databases, with the search period from the establishment of the database to August 2023.The quality of the literature was evaluated using the qualitative research quality evaluation standard of the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) in Australia, and the literature was summarized using a synthesizing meta-synthesis method. Results:A total of 13 articles of literature were included,as well as 33 results were extracted and classified into 12 new categories and synthesized into 4 integrative outcomes, including participation tendency, role experience, obstacles, and needs on parental decision-making of terminally ill neonates. Conclusion:Parents of terminally ill neonates in NICU face difficult decision-making choices.Medical staff need to work together with parents to determine their ideal role in decision-making and develop personalized communication content.Society, hospitals, and families need to create a supportive social and psychological environment to provide parents with information and emotional support,as well as improve the coping ability of parents of terminally ill neonates in decision-making.

Objective To analyze the changes in left ventricular deformation function in patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL)treated with different doses of anthracycline chemotherapy using 3D speckle-tracking imaging(3D-STI).Methods 66 DLBCL patients receiving anthracycline chemotherapy were enrolled.Based on the cumulative dose of anthracycline received, the patients were divided into a high-dose group(>360 mg/m2,n=39)and a low-dose group(≤360 mg/m2,n=27).Patients underwent transthoracic echocardiography before chemotherapy and within one week after completion of the entire chemotherapy cycle.Left ventricular global longitudinal strain(LVGLS),left ventricular global circumferential strain(LVGCS),and other indices were analyzed using 3D-STI to assess changes in left ventricular deformation indices after chemotherapy and between two groups. Results Compared to baseline,DLBCL patients showed significant reductions in LVGLS,LVGCS and left atrial global longitudinal strain(LAGLS)after treatment completion(P<0.001).When comparing the high-dose group with the low-dose group, there was a significant increase in relative LVGCS change rate at the end of chemotherapy(21.12[6.52,35.37]vs 5.49[-14.73,27.01];P=0.03).However,there were no statistically significant differences in relative left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),LVGLS,LVGCS,LVEF change rate,or LVGLS change rate between the two groups. Conclusions 3D-STI can be a potential method to identify the sub-clinical deterioration of left ventricular systolic function in patients received anthracycline chemotherapy, the difference of change rate of LVGCS may predict the variation of sub-clinical deterioration of left ventricular function between patients received high and low doses of anthracycline chemotherapy.
