Endostatin is a novel anti-angiogenic drug which through multiple pathway inhibits vascular endothelial growth factor expression,to achieve the purpose of the inhibition of tumor angiogenesis.The drug in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer in pre-clinical study and clinical application show that:used alone have anti-tumor effect; combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy can obtain short-term curative effect,and does not increase treatment related toxicity.The adverse effect of the drug is mild and can be well tolerated.

Objective To evaluate the significance and role of ultrasound parameters in the female stress urinary incontinence (SUI). Methods The changes of the distance of bladder neck mobility,posterior urethra-vesical angle,urethral angle and residual urine volume before and after the operation of transobturator tension-free vaginal tape surgery (TVT-O) for 46 cases of female SUI (experimental group ) by ultrasound were studied,and compared with 43 normal women (control group). Results The experimental group before the operation had the greater distance of bladder neck mobility and posterior urethra-vesical angle [(14.46 ± 1.28) mm, (124.87 ±2.95)°] than the control group [(7.47 ±0.55) mm, (107.83 ±3.24)°] (P ＜ 0.01 ), but the urethral angle [( 23.61 ± 2.28 )°] was smaller than the control group [(36.24 ±2.23 )°] (P ＜ 0.01 ). There was no significant difference in the distance of bladder neck mobility, posterior urethra-vesical angle, urethral angle and residual urine volume between the experimental group after the operation and the control group (P ＞ 0.05 ). The experimental group before the operation had the greater distance of bladder neck mobility and posterior urethra-vesieal angle than those after the operation [(7.84±0.76) mm, (108.74±3.63)°] (P ＜0.01), the urethral angle was smaller than that after the operation [(34.39 ± 3.46)°] (P ＜ 0.01 ), but the residual urine volume had no significant difference (P ＞ 0.05 ).Conclusions After the operation, there are some changes in the distance of bladder neck mobility, posterior urethra-vesical angle and urethral angle for the patients with female SUI,and these parameters can be restored the normal state,and have the relatively stable effect. The residual urine volume dosen't increase after the operation. Ultrasound has the advantage in objectively assessing the severity and recovery status after the operation exclusion of mental and psychological factors.

Objective To discuss the features of the alcoholic liver disease complicated with chronic subdural hemetoma and the use of neuroendoscopy in the disease’s treatment.Methods Clearing the hemetome by neuroendoscopic operation,hemostatic was injected through vein during the operation,the treatment of hemostasis and the liver’s protection were implied in postoperation.Results All of the patients were cured without death and complications correlated the liver disease and hemetoma.Conclusion Neuroendoscopy has a unique advantage in the treatment of the alcoholic liver disease complicated with chronic subdural hemetoma,it is worth promoting.

Objective Through analysed the questionnaire about postpartum contraception knowledge-attitude-practice (KAP) among obstetricians,to understand the postpartum contraceptive knowledge,idea,attitude and related factors among obstetricians.Methods From October 2013 toDecember 2013,209 obstetricians of 10 different levels of the hospital of Tianjin area had been enrolled in this study,and KAP questionnaire was investigated.Results The knowledge of postpartum contraception among obstetricians was seriously lack,the total correct rate was 34.8％,the lowest score was 5 points,the highest was 80 points,the average score was 34.8± 13.5,more than 60 points accounted for only 2.9％ (6/209).86.6％ (181/209) obstetricians have thought it necessary to carry out postpartum contraceptive propaganda during pregnancy,and 97.6％ (204/209) obstetricians have thought it necessary to develop postpartum contraception training.92.8％ (194/209) and 94.2％ (197/209) obstetricians always informed that pay attention to contraception before discharge and postpartum visit,specific methods were not discussed.Obstetricians obtained relevant progress of contraceptive knowledge mainly through the daily medical work (92.8％,194/209),hoped that approach postpartum contraception related knowlege through continuing education courses (77.5％,162/209),special lectures in academic conference (72.2％,151/209) and special training (67.5％,141/209).Conclusions (1) The postpartum contraception knowledge among obstetricians is seriously lack.(2) The obstetricians hold positive attitude towards the propaganda for postpartum contraceptive knowledge.(3) Postpartum contraception related education only provided before discharging and postpartum visit,and the content was simply inform that pay attention to contraception,specific methods are not discussed.(4) To explore the reason why postpartum contraception situation is not ideal,that's because insufficient attention and propaganda,obstetricians don't update the contraception knowledge,and be lack of knowledge on the efficient,long-acting reversible contraception methods,exaggerated the side effects and complications.

Thirty nine compounds in the volatile oils of the flowerbuds of Panax quinquefolium L.cultivated in China were isolated and identified with gas chromatography/mass spectre metry. To our great surprise,β-famensene,a sesquiterpene compound of them,alone account for 48.67% of the total volatile oils contents. This experimental result was contrasted with the volatile oils components of the different parts of Panax quinquefolium L.and Panax ginseng,anidentical genus plant,on chemical components and relative quantities.It was discovered that the only one common component is β-famensene in them and it is the highest value in determined relative contents. Above result provides scientific basis for biological synthesis of triterpenoid saponins.

Objective To study the effect of Qing Yi Tang(QYT) on bacterial and endotoxin translocation from intestine in acute hemorrhagic necrotizing pancreatitis(AHNP) in rats.Methods SD rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: AHNP group,AHNP +QYT treatment group and sham operation(SO) group.AHNP models were set up in the former two group,while the pancreas was only mobilized in SO group.After setting up the model,QYT was gavaged in the QYT group,while normal saline was gavaged in the SO group and AHNP group.The concentration of endotoxin(ET) and the DNA of E.coli expressoin in portal vein blood in three groups of rats were measured 24h later.Results The concentration of ET and amount of E.coli DNA in portal vein of QYT group were lower than those of AHNP group.Conclusions QYT can reduce significantly the concentration of ET and E.coli DNA in portal vein blood and decrease bacterial and endotoxin translocation from intestine in the AHNP rats.

Objective To investigate the effects of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor α( PPARα) on macrophage-mediated inflammatory responses with the interference of lipopolysaccharide and the possible mechanism.Methods The bone marrow stem cells were isolated from the femora of mice.The granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor ( GM-CSF) was used to stimulate the in vitro differentiation from bone marrow stem cells into primary macrophages.An in vitro model with cultured cells expressing in-flammatory cytokines was established by treating the primary macrophages with lipopolysaccharide ( LPS) .A specific chemical agonist, Wy-14643, was used to activate PPARα. Autophagy inhibitors including 3-methyladenine (3-MA) and small interfering RNA against Atg7 ( Atg7 siRNA) were used to inhibit the autophagy.Western blot assay was performed to detect the expression of autophagy-related proteins ( Atg5, Atg7, Beclin-1 and LC3).The transcriptional levels of TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6, Atg5, Atg7 and Beclin-1 were analyzed by qRT-PCR.Results Compared with the macrophages treated with LPS alone, those pretreated with various concentrations of Wy-14643 (10 μmol/L, 25 μmol/L and 50 μmol/L) showed inhibited ex-pression of proinflammatory cytokines ( TNF-α,IL-1βand IL-6) and enhanced expression of autophagy-relat-ed proteins (Atg5, Atg7 and Beclin-1) at mRNA level in a dose-dependent manner.The expression of auto-phagy-related proteins (Atg5, Atg7, Beclin-1 and LC3) by macrophages was promoted with the pretreatment of Wy-14643 as indicated by Western blot assay.The transcriptional levels of TNF-α, IL-1βand IL-6 were increased in Wy-14643 pretreated-macrophages after stimulation with 3-MA or Atg7 siRNA .Conclusion PPARαsuppressed the macrophage-mediated inflammatory responses by promoting autophagy, suggesting that the PPARα-autophagy pathway might be one of the signaling pathways regulating LPS induced-inflamma-tory responses.

Objective To analyze the role of cysteinyl aspartate specific proteinase-1 (caspase-1) in a mouse model of D-galactosamine (D-GalN) and lipopolysaccharide (LPS) induced acute liver failure (ALF) and to study the possible mechanism. Methods C57BL/ 6 mice were randomly divided into four groups including control group, Z-WEHD-FMK (caspase-1 inhibitor) treatment group, ALF model group and Z-WEHD-FMK-treated ALF group. The mouse model of ALF was established by intraperitoneally injec-ting the mice with D-GalN (450 mg/ kg) and LPS (10 μg/ kg). The damages in liver tissues were evaluated based on the histopathological examination and the levels of alanine transaminase (ALT) and aspartate trans-aminase (AST) in serum samples. Western blot assay was performed to analyze the expression of caspase-1 and the phosphorylation of glycogen synthase kinase 3β (GSK-3β). The qRT-PCR was used to measure the expression of inflammatory cytokines at transcriptional level. Results The expression of caspase-1 at both mRNA and protein levels were gradually increased during the development of ALF. Compared with the mice with ALF, those in the Z-WEHD-FMK-treated ALF group showed less severe liver damages on histopatholog-ical examination and decreased levels of ALT and AST in serum samples [ALT: (479. 2±39. 5) U/ L vs (998. 5±60. 4 ) U/ L, P<0. 05; AST: ( 478. 5±28. 6) U/ L vs ( 1 180. 7±91. 4) U/ L, P<0. 05]. The expression of TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-18 and IL-33 at transcriptional level were significantly suppressed in mice with ALF upon the Z-WEHD-FMK intervention. Results of the Western blot assay indicated that Z-WEHD-FMK suppressed the activities of GSK-3β by enhancing its phosphorylation. Conclusion This study demon-strated that caspase-1 could promote the activation of GSK-3β resulting in the development of inflammation responses and liver damages during the development of ALF in mice.

Objective To observe effects of different extracts of Jianpi Huogu Formula (JPHGF) on proliferation and differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell (BMSCs). Methods Whole bone marrow adherent was used to screen, culture, and isolate BMSCs. Extracts from different parts (water, chloroform, ethyl acetate and n-butanol parts) of JPHGF were administrated for a certain time. MTS was used to detent cell proliferation;ALP staining was used to detect ALP activity;ARS staining was used to detect the formation of calcium nodules;oil red O staining was used to detect fat cell formation. Results Extracts from different parts of JPHGF could promote cell proliferation of BMSCs in different levels, followed by its strength in water, chloroform, ethyl acetate, and n-butanol parts;ALP staining results showed that the intensity of ALP expression of the order is water, acetic acid ethyl, chloroform and n-butanol parts;in promoting the formation of calcium nodules, ARS staining results showed that its intensity were water, chloroform, ethyl acetate, and n-butanol parts;oil red O staining results showed that inhibition intensity of fat cells interaction strength was formed from ethyl acetate, water, chloroform to n-butanol parts. Conclusion Extracts from different parts of JPHGF have different effects on BMSCs proliferation and differentiation. Water extraction has the strongest osteogenic differentiation and proliferation, and ethyl acetate has the best effect on the inhibition of cell formation.
