1.Investigation on Interpersonal Communication of Preparatory Students in One Xinjiang Medical College

Objects:To investigate the current situation of interpersonal communication inpreparatory students in one Xinjiang medical college from the exchanges between students.Methods:Using self-developed questionnaire,a survey was conducted among 200 preparatory students and depth interviews were conducted for typical cases.Results:Preppies showed a strong willing of interpersonal communication.In the process of students' interaction,some features were presented as followings:pure motives but dissimilarity,narrow range of interactions,lack of interaction ability and the single form of social activities.Conclusion:Based on the above current situation of interpersonal communication in preparatory students,it should enhance the language application ability of preparatory stage,change the idea and attach importance to the education of humanistic quality in preparatory education and train preppy's expression and listening art.
2.Expression and Characterization of Human/Murine Chimeric Antibodies with Specificity for CD3 Antigen

Exons encoding the variable regions of the light and heavy chain of the murine McAb HIT3a against CD3 antigen were isolated from HIT3a gene library and inserted into mammalian expression vectors containing the human K and y1 region exons. The chimeric genes were transfected into murine SP2/0 hybridoma cells by Lipofectin. Antibody levels of culture supernatants from transfectomas ranged 21~32 ?g/ml. The chimeric antibodies bound specifically to human T cells and competed effectivelly with the parental anti-CD3 murine McAb for binding to CD3 antigen on human T cells. The ability to promote antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytolysis was significantly enhanced with the chimeric antibodies as compared with anti-CD3 murine McAb. The mitogenic activity of human T cells can be suppressed and enhanced by the anti-CD3 chimeric antibodies. The cytotoxicity to tumor cells and proliferation of human T cells mediated by the anti-CD3 chimeric antibodies were much higher than IL-2 alone. Chimeric HIT3a antibody is a clinically relevant, genetically engineering antibody with potential use in treatment of graft-versus-host disease in tranplantation, autoimmune diseases and some tumors.
3.Treatment of degenerative Achilles'tendon rupture using V-Y tendinous flap and transfer of flexor hallucis longus tendon

Objective To introduce the technique.indication and outcome of treatment of degenerative Achilles'rupture with transfer of flexor hallucis longus tendon and V-Y tendinous flap. Methods From October 2003 to May 2006,21 cases of degenerative Achilles'tendon rupture were treated in our department using transfer of flexor hallucis longus tendon and V-Y tendinous flap.Rivets were used in 17 cases and surface screws in 4.They were followed up for 12 to 18 months(average,14). Results According to the Arner-Lindholm criteria for curative results,19 of the 21 cases were excellent and 2 good.Follow-ups revealed no Achilles'tendon re-rupture,infection,skin necrosis,stiff ankle,or injury to nerves and vessels.Walking gaits nearly recovered to normal.The repair strength allowed early functional exercise of the Achilles'tendon. Conclusion Transfer of flexor hallucis longus tendon combined with V-Y tendinous flap can cure the degenerative Achilles'tendon ruptures and defects of Achilles'tendon within 3 cm.
4.Application of ~1H magnetic resonance spectroscopy in diagnosis and differential diagnosis for bacteroidal brain abscesses

Objective To show the distinctive resonance pattern in 7 cases of intracranial abscess and 19 cases of cystic lesions as to evaluating these specific resonance peaks. Methods Characteristics of ~1H-MRS in 7 patients with brain abscesses and 19 with cystic or necrotic intracranial tumors were analyzed and compared. Peak assignment was based on reference values from in vivo and in vitro studies. Results Among 7 patients with brain abscesses, 6 showed the presence of cytosolic amino acid (AA) at 0.9 ppm, 5 showed alanine (Ala) at 1.5 ppm, 2 showed acetate (Ac) at 1.9 ppm and 1 patient showed succinate (Suc) at 2.4 ppm. None of the above resonances had been detected in spectra from 19 cases of cystic or necrotic intracranial tumors. Conclusions ~1H-MRS might reflect the different histochemical specificity of abscesses and cystic or necrotic tumors effectively. It should have special values in diagnosis and differential diagnosis of the brain abscess.

6.A clinical study on changes of EGF in serum before and after endoscopic surgery in patients with chronic sinusitis disease.

OBJECTIVE:
To evaluate the changes of epidermal growth factor (EGF) in serum before and after endoscopic surgery in patients with chronic sinusitis, and then to explore its clinical significance.
METHOD:
Serum was collected before and after operation and EGF concentrations were measured by the radioimmunoassay at different times.
RESULT:
EGF levels in patients with chronic sinusitis (1.24 +/- 0.41) microg/L were higher than that in control group (0.92 +/- 0.23) microg/L, but there were no significantly difference between them (P > 0.05). The concentrations of EGF were reduced after surgery, and the lowest were evaluated after 4 weeks. Significant difference of EGF concentrations were found between before and 4 weeks after operation (P < 0.01). The concentration of EGF were raised 6 weeks after surgery, and returned to normal after 8 weeks.
CONCLUSION
The changes of EGF in serum before and after endoscopic surgery may relate with the epithelization process of sinus mucosa after endoscopic surgery.

7.Study on Improvement Effects of Atorvastatin Calcium Tablets on Renal Injury in Nephrotic Syndrome Model Rats and Its Mechanisms

OBJECTIVE: To study the improvement effects of Atorvastatin calcium tablets on renal injury in nephrotic syndrome model rats, and to explore its possible mechanism. METHODS: Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal group, model group and Atorvastatin calcium tablets group, with 10 rats in each group. Model group and Atorvastatin calcium tablets group rats were given adriamycin 6 mg/kg intravenously for consecutive 21 d to induce nephrotic syndrome model. Since 22th day, Atorvastatin calcium tablets group was given drug 8 mg/kg intragastrically while normal group and model group rats were given equal amount of distilled water intragastrically, once a day, consecutive 6 days every week, for consecutive 10 weeks. At the second day after last medication, the plasma levels of albumin (ALB), total protein (TP), cholesterol (CH), urine albumin excretion rate (UAE) were determined in each group. RP-PCR and Western blot assay were used to detect mRNA and protein expression of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), silent information regulator 1 (SIRT1) and nuclear factor κB (NF-κB) in liver tissue. RESULTS: Compared with normal group, the levels of ALB and TP, mRNA and protein expression of AMPK and SIRT1 were decreased significantly in model group (P<0.01 or P<0.001), while the levels of CH and UAE, mRNA and protein expression of NF-κB were increased significantly (P<0.05 or P<0.01 or P<0.001). Compared with model group, the levels of ALB and TP, mRNA and protein expression of AMPK and SIRT1 were increased significantly in Atorvastatin calcium tablets group (P<0.05 or P<0.01 or P<0.001), while the levels of CH and UAE, mRNA and protein expression of NF-κB were decreased significantly (P<0.05 or P<0.01 or P<0.001). CONCLUSIONS: Atorvastatin calcium tablets has significant improvement effect on the renal injury of nephritic syndrome model rats, the mechanism of which may be associated with up-regulating the expression of AMPK and SIRT1 and down-regulating the expression of NF-κB.
8.Distribution and drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria in urinary tract infection in a tertiary hospital of Hubei Province in 2017-2019

Objective To retrospectively analyze the distribution and drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria in urinary tract infection in Xiangyang Central Hospital from 2017-2019, so as to provide a basis for clinical treatment of urinary tract infection and rational use of antibiotics. Methods The pathogenic bacteria isolated from clinical urine culture in Xiangyang Central Hospital from January 2017 to December 2019 were collected, and BD PhoenixTM 100 was used for the identification of pathogens and antimicrobial sensitivity test. The WHONET 5.6 and GraphPad Prism 5.0 software were used for data analysis. Results A total of 3 056 strains of pathogens were isolated from 15 672 urine specimens (19.50%). Gram-negative bacteria accounted for 77.95%, of which E. coli was the most common (52.45%). Gram-positive bacteria accounted for 12.63%, including E. faecalis (4.80%) and E. faecium (4.80%). Fungi accounted for 9.50%. The clinical departments with the highest rates of urinary culture submission and positive detection were Urology (26.20%) and Endocrinology (41.90%), respectively. E. coli and K. pneumoniae had high resistance rates to piperacillin, compound trimethoprim, cefuroxime, ceftriaxone and cefazolin, all exceeding 50.00%, while P. aeruginosa was relatively sensitive to various antibiotics. The resistance rates of these three gram-negative bacteria to carbapenem antibiotics increased year by year. The isolated gram-positive cocci were mainly enterococcus faecalis and enterococcus faecalis. They were highly sensitive to linazolamide, vancomycin and teicoplanin, but the resistance rates to other types of antibiotics were quite different. The average detection rates of ESBLs-producing E. coli and K. pneumoniae were 52.90% and 59.00%, respectively. Conclusion The pathogens of urinary tract infections in Xiangyang Central Hospital from 2017 to 2019 are mainly gram-negative bacteria, and the resistance rate to carbapenem drugs is increasing year by year. The ESBLs-producing strains of E. coli and K. pneumoniae are highon should be strengthened in patients with high DOB value and smoking.
9.Establishment of median for the antepartum screening biomarkers in normal pregnant women

Objective To evaluate the differences of α-fetoprotein (AFP), ffeeβ-human chorionic gnnadotropin (HCG) indexes in 3 foreign median databases for antepartum risk screening, and establish the median databases of normal pregnant women in Wenzhou for antepartum screening of AFP, free-β-HCG indexes through the suitable median computational models. Methods The levels of AFP and free β-HCG of 20054 normal pregnant women in Wenzhou were detected by time-resolved fluorometry. The data in this paper were compared with the data of 2T-risk ( 2T), Lifecycle-2. 2 (LC2.2 ) and Lifecycle -3.0 (LC3.0) by double-factor ANOVA. The differences between the data in the paper and the data from Shenyang and Ningbo were analyzed. The median database of Wenzhou pregnant women was established by the suitable regression model, with the stability of nonlinear regression models of the 3 software assessed by model correcting fitting, distribution mean of model fitting logarithmic and standard deviation. Results The levels of AFP and freeβ- hCG reported here were 10% and 16% higher than the data of 2T-risk, 15% and 20% higher than that of LC 2. 2, 6% and 17% higher than that of LC 3.0 respectively. The differences were statistically significant. ( FAFP = 161. 757 ,P < 0. 01 ; Ffree-β-HCG = 58. 261, P < 0.01 ). The levels of AFP and free β- hCG in Wenzhou were 2% higher and 3% lower than that of Shenyang, 1% and 2% higher than that of Ningbo. There was no statistical difference of AFP levels among Wenzhou , Shenyang and Ningbo( FAFP = 0. 174 ,P =0. 840) while the differences of free-β-hCG were statistically significant( F<,free-β-HCG> = 13.303 ,P < 0. 01 ). The differences of quadratic equation regression model, exponent quadratic function regression model and exponent quadru-function regression model of 2T, LC-2. 2 and LC-3.0 were not remarkable. The exponent quadru-function regression model was the best. Conclusions There are significant differences between the data from Wenzhou, Shenyang and Ningbo and the data of T-2 risk, LC-2. 2, LC -3.0. The discrepancy is due to the ethnic and different parameters of regression models. So the model parameters and the median databases are urgently required in China. The differences of large sample size of AFP from Wenzhow, Shengyang and Ningbo are not significant, while the differences of free-β- hCG from Wenzhow, Shengyang and Ningbo is remained because of its instability. The levels from Wenzhow and Ningbo are near. It is suggested that the laboratories with small sample size can establish their own laboratory parameters using the reference obtained from large sample size under the same experimental conditions. There are no significant differences of stability among regression computational models in the 3 software. The exponent quadru-function regression model can be used to establish the median databases for the screening with the similar data distribution in the paper.
10.Association of the C-reactive protein gene polymorphisms and plasma hs-CRP level in ischemic stroke

Objective To investigate the association of C-reactive protein (CRP) gene polymorphisms and plasma hs-CRP level,and effect on the genetic susceptibility of ischemic stroke (IS).Methods A case-control study was conducted and 548 patients with acute ischemic stroke and 993 agematched controls from community-based population were included in this study.Epidemiological questionnaires were managed to collect for demographic information.Blood pressure was measured and blood glucose,triacylglycerol,cholesterol,and high sensitivity C-reaction protein (hs-CRP) were detected.Polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) was used for genotyping of CRP gene in all participants.Results The levels of plasma hs-CRP and the proportion of elevated plasma hs-CRP (≥3.0 mg/L) in the ischemic stroke patients (3.534 ± 3.484) mg/L (43.1%) were significantly higher than those of controls (1.957 ±2.344) mg/L (16.6%),t =9.475,P < 0.01,x2 =128.326,P < 0.01.The results of association analysis indicated that rs3093059 and rs3091244 of CPR gene presented statistical associations with ischemic stroke.After correction for confounding factors,ORs (95% CI) of additive model and dominant model of rs3093059 were 0.697 (0.528-0.921),0.671 (0.487-0.923) respectively.ORs 95% CI) of dominant model of rs3091244 was 0.728 (0.536-0.988).Further analysis indicated the polymorphism of rs876537,rs3093059,rs3091244 of CPR genotyping were significantly associated with plasma hs-CRP elevation (≥ 3.0 mg/L) both in ischemic stroke patients and in controls (P <0.05).Conclusion The CRP genetic polymorphisms were negatively associated with ischemic stroke,and positively corrleted with plasma hs-CRP elevation.However,plasma hs-CPP was positively correlated with ischemic stroke.These results suggested that the plasma hs-CRP levels might be accompanied by ischemic stroke.
