Objective To summarize the characteristics of pediatric abdominal hernia ultrasonic image and review the misdiagnosis of cases,to explore the values of high frequency color doppler ultrasound in the diagnosis of internal abdominal hernia. Methods Retrospective analysis the cases which diagnosed of internal hernia by abdomen colour ultrasound in January 2012 to December 2015 at our medical center,as well as the patients had surgery in our medical center for surgical treatment of 35 children (part results with pathological diagnosis), Retrospectively analyzed the characteristics of preoperative ultrasound image, and compare the results of abdominal operation results, and the pathological diagnosis. Results 30 cases confirmed by surgery for internal hernias. Conclusion ultrasound have higher value to exceed the diagnosis of internal hernia in childen, which most of the following intestinal obstruction in the diagnosis.

Objective To introduce the current status of clinical research on endoscopic cholecystolithotomy with reservation of gallbladder. Methods Literatures related to the basis, advantage, indication, contraindication, operative method and current controversy were reviewed and summarized. Results The objective evidences were afforded by postoperative complications of cholecystectomy for endoscopic cholecystolithotomy with reservation of gallbladder. The progress of endoscopic technique made it possible for reservation of gallbladder. The controversy in endoscopic cholecystolithotomy with reservation of gallbladder was focused on the choice of indications and operative procedure.Incorrect patient selection and undue pursuit of cholecystolithotomy with reservation of gallbladder would be completely opposite to the treatment of gallstone. Conclusion It is feasible for endoscopic cholecystolithotomy with reservation of gallbladder to remove completely stone and reserve gallbladder function, but further investigation and long-term follow up are required to delineate gallstone recurrence after operation.

BACKGROUND:Studies have shown that malnutrition was associated with death of elder people after fracture of hip, but there were no above-mentioned reports in China.
OBJECTIVE: To retrospectively analyze the relationship of blood albumin, total lymphocyte count and hemoglobin levels to prognosis when elder patients with fracture of hip were on admission.
METHODS:130 elderly patients with hip fractures aged ≥ 70 years were included underwent either total hip arthroplasty or bipolar arthroplasty. Admission serum albumin, total lymphocytecount and hemoglobin levels were recorded. The patients were fol owed up for 1 year or til the death. Survival data were available in 92 patients. Rates of survival were calculated by the Kaplan-Meier method and the Log-Rank test. Cox proportional hazard regression model received prognostic multivariate analysis.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Of the 92 patients, albumin<35 g/L in 20 cases (22%), total lymphocyte count<1.5×106/L in 67 cases (73%), and hemoglobin<120 g/L in 56 cases (61%). Kaplan-Meier method showed that the survival rate of patients with normal albumin (≥ 35 g/L) was significantly higher than those with reduced albumin (<35 g/L) (P<0.01). No significant difference was detected in the survival rate of patients with normal total lymphocyte count (≥ 1.5×106/L) and reduced total lymphocyte count (<1.5×106/L) (P>0.05). The survival rate of patients with normal hemoglobin (≥ 120 g/L) was significantly higher than those with decreased hemoglobin (<120 g/L) (P <0.05). Cox multivariate analysis displayed that albumin decrease is an independent prognostic factor for death of patients with hip fracture. Results indicated that the prognosis of elder patients with hip fracture was strongly associated with their nutritional conditions. Albumin and hemoglobin levels at admission can be considered as important indexes for judging patient’s prognosis.

Objective The fingerprint of volatile components from three breeds of Radix Curcumae was compared to supply evidence for the standard of quality control of Radix Curcumae. Methods Gas chromatography was used to establish fingerprint of Radix Curcumae and GC-MS chromatography was applied to identify its characteristic peaks. The similarity of fingerprint was evaluated by computing method. Results The fingerprint had its similarity and characteristics in different breeds of Radix Curcumae. The fingerprint detection is a good method for identifying Radix Curcumae,RSD 2.53 %.Conclusion This method is simple and effective for identifying different breeds of Radix Curcumae and can be used to control the quality of medicinal material of Radix Curcumae.

Objective To analyze the possible reasons of failed surgical treatment of acetabular fractures. Methods Various methods were used for positive patient identification, including according to Matta's X-ray assessment and Merle d'Aubigne & Postel hip function score of clinical standards for classification of acetabular fracture reduction surgery were not satisfied or not carried out a reduction and fixation, the clinical evaluation of hip joint as a "bad", occurrence of femoral head subluxation or dislocation, femoral head necrosis and other serious complications. From February 2000 to February 2008, 22 patients including 14 males and 8 females with an average age of 38.6 years (range, 18-72 years) were considered as failed cases. Results 45.5% of these cases were posterior wall fractures which were not given any fixation, 27.3% of them were posterior column fractures which were not fixed, 13.6% of them whose reduction and fixation of anterior wall fractures were not satisfied, and 9.1% of them were anterior column fractures which needed fixation. One case should take open reduction and iternal fixation instead of THA. The rate of misdiagnosis and mistaken diagnosis were 90% if only X-ray evaluation was made and this rate decreased to 8.3% if computed tomography was taken. The rate of wrong selection of operative approach was 100% in 10 cases of misdiagnosis, and which was 58.3% in 12 cases of correct diagnosis. In the 5 patients with correct diagnosis and selection of operative approach, the reasons of failed surgical treatment were due to imperfect surgical skills in 3 cases, and inappropriate fixation patterns in 2 cases. Conclusion The causes of the failure of surgical treatment for acetabular fracture might include preoperative missed diagnosis and misdiagnose, inappropriate approach, and an unreasonable internal fixation with unskillful technique.

Objective To extract hyperoside from the leaves of Acanthopanax sessiliflorus by complex enzyme method, and optimize the extraction process by orthogonal experiment. Methods Hyperoside was determined by HPLC. Effects of temperature,α-amylase, neutral protease and cellulase on extraction rate were detected by the orthogonal tests, and the optimum extraction condition of hyperoside from the leaves of Acanthopanax sessiliflorus was determined by complex enzyme method. Results The main influence factor was temperature, follows byα-amylase, neutral protease and cellulase according to orthogonal analysis. The best condition was as follows: dose of cellulase, neutral protease and α-amylase was 2%, 0. 5% and 3%, respectively, extract at temperature of 30 ℃for 10 min. Under this condition, the extraction rate of hyperoside in the leaves of Acanthopanax senticosus was 0.52%. Conclusion As compared with the traditional technics, compound enzyme increases the productivity of hyperoside.
