ObjectiveTo assess right ventricular diastolic function in patients with essential hypertension using tricuspid valve flow spectrum and tricuspid annulars motion dectected by echocardiography. MethodsAccording to Ganau′s categories, 124 patients with essential hypertension were enrolled, which were divided into four groups:normal left ventricular configurational group (group Ⅰ, n =32 ), centripetal reconstruction group (group Ⅱ, n =30), centripetal hypertrophy group ( group Ⅲ, n =32), eccentric hypertrophy group ( group Ⅳ, n =30 ). Control group consisted of 35 normal subjects pulsed wave Doppler(PW) data and tissue Doppler imaging(TDI) data were acquired from tricuspid and its' annulus respectively on apical four chamber view. ResultsEPA > 1 was observed in control group as well as group Ⅰ and Ⅱ ,while E/A < 1 in group Ⅲ and group Ⅳ ,there were significant differences between them. Em/Am < 1 was observed in all of patients with hypertension, there were significant differences among them( P < 0.05 ) .ConclusionTissue Doppler imaging was more sensitive than pulse Doppler in evaluating decreased right ventricular diastolic function in patients with essential hypertension, and the decrement of the function was different in degree based on variant left ventricular configurations.

Aim To investigate the inhibitory effect of peptide from Agkistrodon Acutus snake venom(fraction K)on the growth of human ovarian carcimona A2780 cell line and its mechanism. Methods The A2780 cells were treated with fraction K at different concentrations. The proliferation of A2780 cells was assayed with MTT colorimetric method. The histologi-cal and ultras-tructural changes of cell were scored using light and electron microseopy. The apoptosis of A2780 cells induced by fraction K was studied by fluorescent staining.Crystal violet staining and MTT assay were employed to determine the effect of fraction K on A2780 cells that they had been adhered to fibronectin.Result Proliferation of A2780 cells was inhibited significantly by fraction K in a dose-and time-dependant manner.Under electron-microseop and fluorescence microscope, some A2780 cells underwent a typical apoptosis and morphology changes after 24 hours incubation with fraction K.Fraction K could inhibit the adhesion of A2780 cells to fibronectin in a dose-dependent manner. Conclusion fraction K can inhibit proliferation of A2780 cells, which may be related to the mechanism of inducing cellular apoptosis and cellular adhesion.

The incidence of spinal cord injury is becoming higher and higher, of which more than half are cervical spinal injury. The main cause of death in high cervical spinal injury is respiratory function failure. The patients who survived must rely on ventilators to sustain life. In view of the shortcomings of ventilators, many researchers tried to use diaphragm pacing technology instead of ventilator to reconstruct the function of respiratory. This article introduced the application of diaphragm pacing technology in patients with cervical spinal injury.

OBJECTIVE:To train the students’ability about true-and-false identification of pini pollen, typhae pollen and Lygo-dium japonicum. METHODS:Teachers firstly used flexible and diversifided teaching methods to train the learning interest of stu-dents,and then picture antithesis, classroom presentation and other methods were used to teach the distinctive features between the true and false traditional Chinese medicine in the characters of identification. RESULTS&CONCLUSIONS:There were obvious dif-ference among the colors, physicochmical poperties, microscopic characteristics and other aspects of 3 traditional Chinese medi-cines. According to the teaching, the students could not only distinguish the 3 traditional Chinese medicines accurately, but also could identify the true-and-false of them. picture antithesis and classroom presentation method are simple and vivid, and can be used for the training of students’ability about true-and-false identification.

[Objective] To investigate the effect of naringin at different doses on the neuropathie pain produced by lumbar 5 spinal nerve ligafion (L5 SNL). [Methods] Using the method of behavioral test, we tested the 50% paw withdrawal threshold before and after intragastrieal application of naringin in the rats with L5 SNL. [Results] Naringin at 30, 90, 100 mg/kg but not at 10 mg/kg increased the 50% paw withdrawal threshold of 1.5 SNL rats significantly. Single application of Naringin (at 30 or 90 mg/kg) inhibited mechanical allodynia for around 6 hours, and the inhibitory effect persisted for 4 days after the cessation of the drug when naringin (30 mg/kg, daily) was consecutively applied for 7 days. [Conclusion] Intragastrical of naringin could relieve the neuropathic pain produced by peripheral nerve injury.
