Objective To establish a SPE-HPLC method for the determination of carbaryl and atrazine in water.Methods Carbaryl and atrazine in water were extracted with Oasis HLB and were eluted with CH3OH,CH3OH-H2O(55:45) was applied as mobile phase,the flow rate was 0.8 ml/min,detection wavelength was 220 nm,column was Symmetry Shield RP18(150 mm ? 3.9 mm,5 ?m),carbaryl and atrazine in water were determined by PDA detector.Results The linear range of the method was 0.05-10.0 mg/L(y=316 263x-350 9,r=0.999 9,for carbary;y=140 151x-258 6,r=0.999 9,for atrazine),The lowest detected concentration was 0.0002 mg/L for carbary and 0.000 5 mg/L for atrazine,respectively(S/N≥3).The recovery rates were 89.6%-97.0%,and the relative standard deviation was 4.0%-6.7%.Conclusion The method was sensitive,accurate and repeatable,which was applicable to the determination of carbaryl and atrazine in water.

Objective To explore clinical application of the combined therapy of manual small incision cataract surgery (MSICS) with intraocular lens (IOL) implantation and trabeculectomy for patients with refractory glaucoma and coexisting cataract.Methods In our hospital,68 patients (76 eyes) with angle-closure glaucoma of continuously high intraocular pressure (lOP) and coexisting cataract were included in this study from April 2008 to October 2011.All of them were treated with the combination of MSICS with IOL implantation and trabeculectomy.Postoperative visual acuity,IOP,anterior chamber depth (ACD),filtering bleb,ocular fundus and complications were observed.Results Each operation was successfully completed.Postoperative visual acuity and IOP were significantly improved and decreased,respectively,compared to the preoperative.ACD was deepen and filtering bleb was effectively established in the postoperative eyes without significant complications.Conclusion The combined surgery of MSICS with IOL implantation and trabeculectomy might effectively increase visual acuity and decrease IOP,which was a safe and effective approach for patients with refractory glaucoma and coexisting cataract.

Objective To explore the deficit features of verbal working memory of dyslexia children by comparing with normal children. Methods Seventeen normal children and fifteen dyslexia children finished the classic verbal n-back task which involved three memory updating difficulty levels. Results Dyslexia children ((81.7±7.0)%,(70.8±12.0)%,(60.0±7.0)%)performed worse than NC ((88. 6 ±6. 0)% , (83. 5 ± 7.0)% ,(75.6 ±9.0)%)in all memory updating levels(n = 0,1 ,2) (P<0.01). In the performances related to memory updating operating,when the difficulty of the updating rised dyslexia children(25. 9 ± 12. 0)% revealed greater decline than normal children(14.2 ± 12.0)% (P<0.01). Conclusion Dyslexia children demonstrate the deficit in the basic level of working memory, which was showed as the bad performance of n-back task in updating level zero, and also they had problems in memory updating,which was showed as the greater updating effect. Memory updating was regarded as the advanced procession of verbal working memory.

Objective To establish a high performance liquid chromatographic method for determination of 6-methyl coumarin in cosmetics. Methods Samples were extracted with ethanol, On C18 column CH3CN-0.02 mol/L NaH2PO4(pH=3.5, 35∶65) was applied as mobile phase, 6-Methyl Coumarin in cosmetics was determined by photo-diode-array(PDA) detector. Results The linear range of the method was 1.0-25.0 mg/L. The lowest detected limit of 6-Methyl Coumarin in 1.0 g samples was 0.000 1%. The recovery rates were 96.6%-99.2%, and the relative standard deviation were 2.0%-4.4%. Conclusion The method was simple, rapid and accurate, which was suitable for determination of 6-methyl coumarin.

Objective To develop a method for the determination of DBP and DEHP in cosmetics by GC-MS. Methods The samples was extracted by methanol or acetic ether, DBP and DEHP were separated by GC and determined by MS. Results The linear range, regression equation of calibration curve and correlation coefficient were 0.5-100.0 ?g/ml, y=2?106 x-2?106, 0.999 6 for DBP respectively and 5.5-110.0 ?g/ml, y=988 223 x-7?106, 0.995 9 for DEHP respectively. Based on threefold ratio of signal and noise, as the sample was 1.0 and 0.2 g respectively, the volume was 10.0 ml, the detection limits were 1.0 and 5.0 mg/kg respectively for both DBP and DEHP. The recovery rates were 90.8%-119.0% for DBP and 90.4%-115.3% for DEHP. Relative standard deviations were 4.8%-9.8% for DBP and 6.0%-8.6% for DEHP. Conclusion This method is sensitive, accurate and high reproducible, and was applicable to the determination of DBP and DEHP in the cosmetics.

Objective To establish a UV spectrophotometry method for determination of diphenylamine in air of workplaces.Methods The air samples were collected by glass fiber filter treated with sulfuric acid,desorbed with alcohol by ultrasonic for 10 min,determined by UV spectrophotometry.Results The detection range of the method was 0.19-60 mg/m3(the air volume was15 L).The regression equation:y=0.13x-0.016.The correlation coefficients was 0.999 9.The detection limit was 0.28 ?g/ml.The relative standard deviations was 1.9% -8.4%.Sample-collected efficiency was 99%,desorption efficiency was 98% and the penetration capacity was more than 2.2 mg.Sample stability was 10 days at least by being stored in a refrigerator at 4℃ or by ambient storage.Conclusion This method is applicable to the determination of diphenylamine in air of workplaces.

Objective To study the correlation between the CT features of tumor blood supplies and the pathological changes in primary hepatocellular carcinoma (PHCC). Methods Fifty cases with surgically and pathologically proved PHCC underwent spiral CT scanning (plain+dual phase). One research group blindly evaluated the CT films obtained. According to tumor contrast enhancement and signals showed on CT, the patterns of PHCC was divided into 4 types: arterial blood supplying, portal blood supplying, arterial combining with portal blood supplying, and poorly blood supplying. Microscopically, PHCC was respectively classified into grade I to Ⅳ with Edmonson′s standard, and into 4 types (trabecular, pseudoglandular, compact, scirrhous) with WHO histological grading standard. At last, the CT features of tumor blood supplies were correlated with pathologic changes. Results 36(72%) cases were supplied by hepatic arterial blood, 6(12%) by arterial combining with portal blood supplying, 4(8%) by portal, and 4(8%) were poorly blood supplying. Objective To detect and analyze the HBV?related indexes in the urine of HBV transgenic mice and further understand the biological characteristics of transgenic mice, and to clarify the tissue sources of HBV?related indexes. Methods HBV?related indexes in the urine of transgenic mice were tested using enzyme?linked immune sorbent assay ( ELISA ) and fluorescence quantitative PCR ( real?time RCR ) . The tissue sources were confirmed by several experiments, i. e. hydrodynamic transfection of mice, RNA interference to inhibit HBV?expression in the transgenic mice, and to infect normal mice with HBV?positive serum from patients. Results Expression of HBsAg, HBeAg and HBV?DNA was present in the urine of transgenic mice, of which the HBsAg expression level was high (6674 ± 619?8 IU/mL), but lower than that in the serum (16470 ± 2704 IU/mL). The level of HBsAg expression in the urine of male mice was higher than that in female mice. The level of HBeAg expression in the urine was lower and the HBeAg positive rate of urine was higher than that of blood, and the levels of HBeAg expression showed significant inter?individual and inter?sexual differences. HBV?DNA level reached 103 -105 copy/mL in the urine, but no related antibody expression was detected. The experiments such as hydrodynamic infection test indicated that the HBV?related indexes in the urine are derived from replication in the kidneys rather than secreted from the liver, entered into the blood circulation, and discharged from the urine. The kidneys are an independent expression site of HBV. Conclusions The expression of HBV?related indexes is present in the urine of transgenic mice and it is a long?term expression along with the age in months, of which the expression levels of HBsAg and HBV?DNA are rather high and stable. HBsAg titer in the urine of the male mice is higher than that of female mice. HBeAg expression level in the male mice is more stable compared with that in female mice. No expressions of various kinds of antibodies have been found in the urine. The kidneys are an independent expression site of HBV.
