Objective To investigate the status of smoking and drinking among the officers and soldiers in associated logistics army, analyze the feature and primary cause of service men' s smoking and drinking, and provide scientific reference for the intervention measures. Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted among 1102 officers and soldiers in associated logistics army in Guangdong. Results 95.6% officers and soldiers knew smoking was harmful to health, and 94.1% knew drinking was harmful to health. The rate of recognition of smoking and drinking harm in officers,high-ranking soldiers and obligatory soldiers were significantly different (P <0.001 ),and the rate of recognition in different educational background wasn't significantly different (P > 0.05 ).34.5% officers and soldiers smoked or drank for reducing pressure. The total smoking or drinking rate was 64.7%or 72.6% respectively in the service men.The rate of smoking and drinking in the officers and soldiers were significantly different (P<0.01).In total 713 smokers,28.3% smoked occasionally,25.8% often, and 45.9% heavily. In 800 drinkers,56.6% drank lightly,32.3% moderately, and 11.1% heavily. In all drinkers,45.9% drank beer,11.5 % drank distillate spirit,12.1% drank port wine, and 5.5 % drank imported wine and spirits.Officers drank beer or distillate spirit dominantly (49.2% and 30.8%,respectively),while high-rank soldiers and obligatory soldiers (40.6% and 59.3%,respectively) drank beer dominantly.16.9% officers,1.6% high-rank soldiers and 0% obligatory soldier respectively drank heavily distillate spirit ( > 250 g every time). Conclusion Heath education and good environment for service men should be provided to give up smoking and drinking, thus to further prohibit smoking and drinking in the army.

Objective To establish a loop-mediated isothermal amplification method for detection of Campylobacter jejuni. Methods Six sets of primers were designed to recognize Campylobacter jejuni specific gene hipO.One was selected as the optimal primer and its specificity and sensitivity to Campylobacter jejuni were evaluated by LAMP reaction in 60 minutes at 62℃.Results The results recorded by the turbidity meter showed that the sensitivity of LAMP with a detection limit of 6.97×102 copies/μl was ten times that of PCR.Conclusion LAMP is a potential and valuable method of detection of Campylobacter jejuni due to its rapidity, simplicity, low cost and accuracy. It is especially suitable for grass-roots medical units.

Objective:To study the evolution of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) syndromes of 171 cases of Kawasaki disease (KD) under the intervention of gamma globulin therapy based on factor analysis. Methods:A cross-sectional study. 171 cases of KD children hospitalized in the Department of Cardiology of Guangzhou Women's and Children's Medical Center from July 2019 to December 2020 were collected. All patients were treated with intravenous gamma globulin (2 g/kg) for 1 week. According to the results of the treatment with C-ball, 171 children with C-ball sensitive KD were selected to collect the four diagnostic data, and the representative syndromes of defensive level, qi level, yin level, and nutritive level were observed. Factor analysis was used to analyze the evolution of syndrome in 171 children with KD c-ball sensitivity. Results:The result of factor analysis showed that the KMO statistics of 171 children with c-ball sensitivity before treatment was 0.792, and Bartley test was significant ( P<0.01). 16 common factors were extracted, and 23 syndromes were screened, mainly including defensive level disorder, qi level disorder, nutritive level disorder, yin level disorder, heat stagnation and blood stasis syndrome. One week after treatment, the statistic of KMO test was 0.787, and Bartley test was significant ( P<0.01). 9 common factors were extracted, and 10 syndromes were screened, mainly including qi deficiency syndrome, yin deficiency syndrome and blood stasis syndrome. Conclusion:Before treatment, the TCM syndromes in KD C-cell sensitive children are mainly nutritive level disorder, defensive level disorder, qi level disorder yin level disorder, and heat stagnation and blood stasis syndrome; after treatment, the main TCM syndromes are mainly qi deficiency syndrome, yin deficiency syndrome and blood stasis syndrome.
