Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(07):-
Objective: To investigate Leptin resistance of patients with metabolic syndrome. Methods: 50 patients with metabolic syndrome and 30 health persons as control were investigated. Body mass index(BMI)、waist to hip ratio(WHR)、blood pressure(Bp) were recorded. Serum Leptin、plasma glucose、insulin、total cholesterol(TC)、triglyceride(TG)、high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL C)、low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL C)、lipoprotein(a) were determined, and HOMA IR was calculated. Results: Compared to controls, serum Leptin concentration was significantly higher in metabolic syndrome〔(23.82?15.63)?g/L vs (11.20?4.70)?g/L, P
2.Study on the insulin resistance and leptin resistance in women with polycystic ovary syndrome
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(04):-
Objective:To study the insulin resistance and leptin resistance in women with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).Methods:Body mass index(BMI),serum leptin, fasting blood glucose(FBG),fasting insulin(FINS),serum triglyceride, total cholesterol,high-density lipoprotein,low-density lipoprotein and insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR) were assessed in 30 normal women,30 simple obesity women and 41 PCOS women.Results:①The PCOS patients showed higher levels of BMI,serum leptin,FINS,HOMA-IR and low-density lipoprotein, and lower levels of high-density lipoprotein than that in normal control.Compared to simple obesity women, there only showed higher FINS level and lower BMI in PCOS women.②Serum leptin levels in PCOS patients were concerned with BMI、FINS、HOMA-IR and serum triglyceride levels.③There were no significant difference of the FINS and HOMA-IR between normal women and non obese PCOS women, but the obese PCOS women showed higher levels of FINS and HOMA-IR than that in simple obesity women;the serum leptin levels showed no significant difference between normal women and non-obese PCOS women, simple obesity women and obese PCOS women. Conclusion:PCOS patients may have insulin resistance and leptin resistance; There may have regulative effect between leptin resistance and insulin resistance in PCOS patients; There are direct relationship between insulin resistance and PCOS;The rise of serum leptin level in PCOS women may be the assident manifestation of obesity.
3.Treatment of hyperthyroidism in pregnancy and lactation with antithyroid drugs
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(11):-
Management of hyperthyroidism in pregnancy and lactation has been the topic for many years. This article has discussed the use of antithyroid drugs(ATDs) in pregnancy and lactation, including the choice, the safety, as well as the influences of ATDs to infants.
4.The advance in ghrelin study
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(11):-
The hormone ghrelin is secreted mainly by stomach ,and is the only nature ligand that had been found by now for growth hormone releasing hormone receptor. Although the action for stimulating the secretion of growth hormone is very strong, it's only one part of ghrelin's action. It has many other actions in pathology and physiology, some of which are independent of it's stimulation to growth hormone releasing, such as regulating appetite, maintaining the energy equilibrium etc. We can find ghrelin's action in many human disease. This article is a review for the study in these parts.
5.Progress in treatment of lipomas
International Journal of Surgery 2008;35(11):766-768
Lipomas are benign soft-tissue tumors, common in 30~50 years old populations, occurred in subcutaneous adipocytes on the body surface. The pathogenesis is unclear, till now.Treatment includes surgical treatment,non-surgical treatment and so on.We summarized progress in non-surgical treatment, surgical treatment and Traditional Chinese Medicine therapy of lipomas in this review.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(06):-
Objective:To explore the levels of serum leptin, adiponectin and resistin in simple obesity and also to investigate their roles in this disease. Methods:The serum adiponectin, resistin, leptin, anthropometric and biochemical measurements of fasting blood glucose, fasting insulin were detected in 31 simple obesity subjects and 30 normal subjects. Results:① The adiponectin level in obesity group was significantly lower than that in normal group, but levels of leptin and resistin were higher(P

Chinese Journal of Interventional Cardiology 2003;0(06):-
Objective To investigate the extablishment of minipigs no-reflow models after percutaneous coronary intervention of AMI. Methods A total of 20 wuzhishan minipigs (9?1 months old with body weight of 25?5 kg) were chosen. Left ventriculography and coronary angiography (CAG) were performed sequentially by femoral approach,AMI and no-reflow was set up by diliating balloon to occlude the coronary coronary and reperfusion after the injection of microthrombus into the left anterior descending artery. At the same time, left ventricular hemodynamics parameters were recorded. Changes in ECG and IC-ECG were monitored. Results (1) Sixteen animals survived after the procedures and fourteen of them reached the criterion of AMI with no-reflow (TIMI≤2, CTFC≥36.2). The model extablishment success rate was 70%. (2)The hemodynamics parameters including heart rate, PRI, LVEDP, and PCWP increased, but blood pressure decreased at the time no-reflow was formed compared with those before LAD was occluded. (3) During the experiment, the changes in ECG and IC-ECG were similar to those observed in human in AMI. Conclusion Minipig is an ideal species for the establishment of animal no reflow model reperfusion after microthombus injection and balloon occlusion of LAD.

Chinese Journal of Immunology 1985;0(03):-
Objective:To explore the role of osteopotin in lupus nephritis (LN).Methods:Sera osteopotin( OPN )levels were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay in 90 patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE),15 non-SLE patients with renal impairment, and 30 healthy volunteers.OPN mRNA expression in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) was also investigated with reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction semi-quantitative method. Results:The expression of OPN was significantly higher in active LN groups than in all other groups(P0.05).Conclusion:The expression of PBMCs OPN mRNA is up regulation in active SLE.Meanwhile, its expression levels are correlated with the activity of LN.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(09):-
Objective To reproduce a pulmonary carcinoma model by injecting VX2 tumor tissue block suspension into rabbits' lung, and to compare the result with that of injecting VX2 tumor cells suspension. Methods A total of 50 New Zealand white rabbits were divided into two groups randomly with 25 in each. The VX2 tumor tissue block suspension and cell suspension were injected respectively into the right lower lung of each rabbit in two groups. The growth and metastasis of tumor in the thorax were observed with CT scan. The general condition of the animals was observed as well. Results The pathological pictures of the VX2 tumors were the same in two groups. The ratio of successful transplantation was 100% in the tissue block suspension group, while it was 48% in the cells suspension group,a remarkable difference in the success rate of tumor transplantation was found between the two methods(P
