The hormone ghrelin is secreted mainly by stomach ,and is the only nature ligand that had been found by now for growth hormone releasing hormone receptor. Although the action for stimulating the secretion of growth hormone is very strong, it's only one part of ghrelin's action. It has many other actions in pathology and physiology, some of which are independent of it's stimulation to growth hormone releasing, such as regulating appetite, maintaining the energy equilibrium etc. We can find ghrelin's action in many human disease. This article is a review for the study in these parts.

Objective:To explore the levels of serum leptin,adiponectin and resistin in simple obesity and also to investigate their roles in this disease. Methods:The serum adiponectin,resistin,leptin,anthropometric and biochemical measurements of fasting blood glucose,fasting insulin were detected in 31 simple obesity subjects and 30 normal subjects. Objective To compare the effect and toxicity of domestic idarubicin (IDA) and imported daunorubicin (DNR) in the treatment of acute leukemia (AL).Methods According to the random number table method,68 patients were randomly divided in IDA group with 35 patients and DNR group with 33 patients.In IDA group,the patients with acute myelocytic leukemia were treated following IA scheme (domestic idataubicin plus cytosine arabinoside) and the patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia were treated following VICLP scheme (vincristine,domestic idataubicin,cyclophosphamide,lasparaginase and prednisone).In DNR group,the patients with acute myelocytic leukemia were treated following DA scheme (imported daunorubicin plus cytosine arabinoside) and the patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia were treated following VDCLP scheme (vincristine,imported daunorubicin,cyclophosphamide,lasparaginase and prednisone).Results In IDA group,21 patients achieved a complete remission(CR),5 patients achieved a partial remission(PR),with a 74.2 ％ (26/35) remission rate (RR).In DNR group,the remission rate was 62.3 ％ (20/33).No differences of the remission rate was found between the two groups (t =0.89,P =0.50).17 patients were found remission over one year in IDA group,and 6 patients were in DNR group.The difference was statistically significant between the two groups (x2 =5.56,P =0.02).Conclusion IDA is more effective than DNR in AL treatment.The higher RR and longer remission time are found in IDA group than DNR group.IDA is effective and safe in the treatment of AL.

Objective To evaluate the curative effects of carbon nanoparticles on central lymphnode dis -section in papillary thyroid carcinoma ( PTC) .Methods 72 PTC patients were randomly divided into two groups:carbon nanoparticle group(n=32)and the control group(n=32).Patients in the carbon nanoparticle group were injected with carbon nanoparticles during surgery .Patients in the control group had conventional surgery .The number of lymph nodes being dissected ,lymph node metastasis , and the rate of hypoparathyroidism were compared between the two groups .Results The number of lymph nodes dissected in nanoparticle group ( n =312 ) was much bigger than that in the control group (n=189)(P<0.01;t=8.476).The incidence of hypoparathyroidism in nanoparticle group(n=1)was much lower than that in the control group (n=8)(P<0.05;χ2 =4.571).The metastasis of lymph nodes has no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.01;χ2 =1.048).Conclu-sions The lymphatic tracer technique may improve the number of lymph nodes dissected in central region of PTC and reduce parathyroid gland damage .

Objective To investigate the related factors of postoperative hypocalcemia after thyroid carc-er surgery.Methods 346 cases of thyroid carcer patients undergoing surgery from Jan .2013 to Dec.2013 in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were retrospectively analyzed .Results 129 cases developed hepocalcemia after thyroid surgery .Among the related factors that may cause postoperative hypocalcemia , the scope of surgery , parathyroid injury and secondary surgery might play important roles .Conclusions The inci-dence of postoperative hypocalcaemia is high after total thyroidectomy .Patients with reoperation and lymph node dissection have an increased rate of postoperative hypocalcaemia .In order to reduce hypocalcaemia incidence ,sur-gons need to protect parathyroid blood supply in thyroid surgery and give calcium after surgery .

Objective To study the mediating effect of psychological defense mechanism between personality and depression or anxiety in postgraduate entrance re-examinee. Methods 496 examinee in entrance re-examination of medical postgraduate were investigated by applying Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory(MMsion and anxiety(r=0. 107 ～0. 668, P＜0.05). Psychological defense mechanism was remarkably correlated with depression and anxiety(r= -0. 090 ～ -0.666, P＜0.05;r=0. 131 ～0. 663, P＜0.01). Personality was significantly correlated with psychological defense mechanism (r = - 0. 158 ～ - 0. 586, P ＜ 0.01;r = 0.125 ～ 0.532, Psion, anxiety factor, explicit anxiety, and fear (21.6%, 43.8%, 35.7%, 65.7%). Conclusion Personality is a remarkable predictor of depression and anxiety,and has indirect and direct influence on depression and anxiety through psychological defense mechanism.

Objective To study the socialization character of the examinee in entrance examination of medical postgraduate.Methods 48 examinee in physical fitness test and 496 examinee in entrance examination of medical postgraduate were investigated by applying minnesota multiphasic personality inventory ( MMPI ).Results ①Female postgraduate entrance examinee had higher scores of social responsibility and absence of social anxiety ( H1 ) than male ( 59.1 ± 9.0 vs 56.0 ± 8.5, 59.0 ± 10.1vs 57.3 ± 8.6, P ＜ 0.05 ).Graduates had higher scores of absence of social anxiety( H1 ) (58.3 ±9.4 vs 52.1 ± 11.5, P＜0.05 ), lower scores of alienation from the society(PD4A) and alienation from the society(S1 A) (44.2 ±7.6 vs 51.7 ±9.0, 39.6 ±7.4 vs 45.9 ±9.6,P＜0.05) than junior college graduates.The unmarried persons had higher scores of alienation from the society (PD4A) than the married persons (44.7±7.7 vs 42.9±7.1,P<0.05).②After controlling the effect of gender,marital status and education level, covariance analysis demonstrated that postgraduate entrance examinee had higher scores of S1A (40.0 ±7.5 vs35.2 ±6.8, P＜0.05).Conclusion There are significant differences of socialization character among postgraduate entrance examinee with the difference of genders, marital status and education level.Postgraduate entrance examinee prefers alienation from the society.
