Etiologic classification of ischemic stroke is the basis for epidemiological investigation, risk factor screening developing individualized treatment plan and prognostic measures. The etiologic classifications, such as TOAST, CCS, and ASCO, are more generally accepted methods at present. This article reviews the advantages and disadvantages from the diagnostic criteria and clinical application.

DNA methylation is one of the most common epigenetic events in eukaryotic cell.Aberrant DNA methylation is tightly related to tumorigenesis.Recent evidence indicates that DNA methylation is a promosing biomarker for cancer.The cancer-associated DNA methylation events could be detected from serum(plasma),urine,stool and bronchoalveolar lavage,providing a new choice for noninvasive cancer diagnosis.In this review,we summarized the advances on DNA methylation for noninvasive cancer diagnosis.

Objective In order to understand the Sanya of iodine deficiency disorders(IDD) prevention and cure,and to provide a scientific basis for formulating corresponding control measures.Methods According to the requirements of Iodine Deficiency Disorders Monitoring Program,one townships(districts) in Sanya of Hainan in 2011 were selected based on their positions of east,south,west,north and center,respectively.Four administrative villages in each township(district) were selected in the same way.Fifteen salt samples,8 urine samples of women of childbearing age and 1 drinking water sample from each adninistrative village were collected.In the primary school of each township(district),40 students aged 8 to 10 were selected to check up their thyroid,test their intelligence quotient (IQ) and urinary iodine.Thirty three fifth-grade students in each of the primary schools were selected to launch a questionnaire survey of health education knowledge and test(semiquantitative test) their household edible salt.Salt iodine was detected by direct titrimetry; urinary iodine and water iodine were detected by As-Ce catalytic spectrophotometry; and children's IQ values were measured using the Combined Raven Test (CRT) in rural edition.Results Totally 300 salt samples were tested,and the median salt iodine was 31.0 mg/kg.The iodized salt coverage rate was 96.67％ (290/300),and the consumption rate of qualified iodized salt was 96.00％ (288/300).Totally 200 urine samples were tested,and the median urinary iodine was 194.6 μg/L;and the range of urinary iodine was between 18.50 μg/L and 655.10 μg/L,the proportions of less than 50 μg/L and between 50 μg/L and ＜ 100 μg/L were 4.00％ (8/200) and 13.50％ (27/200),respectively.A total of 200 children were examined by palpation,and the goiter rate was 1.00％(2/200).Mean IQ value of the students was 97.66 and there were 8 students whose IQ values were lower than 69 and 20 students whose IQ values were between 70 and 79.The average score was 3.24 of the 165 students who took part in the questionnaire survey of health education knowledge.There were 43 students who failed in the exam,and the failed rate was 26.06％.The coverage rate of iodized salt in household was 96.36％ (159/165).The median of urinary iodine of the 160 women of childbearing age was 162.95 μg/L,the range of urinary iodine were between 9.50 μg/L and 908.80 μg/L,and the proportion of less than 100 μg/L was 19.38％ (31/160).The consumption rate of eligible iodized salt was 96.90％ (155/160).The levels of water iodine of the 20 water samples from the 5 townships(districts) were all less than 10.0 μg/L.Conclusions Sanya is still in the area lack of iodine in the environment.In general Sanya has reached the goals of elimination of iodine deficiency disorders,but there are still some of the children and women of childbearing age who are iodine deficient.

Early diagnosis and treatment can improve the outcomes of patients with gastrointestinal neoplasms. Although digestive endoscopy is considered as a best method to diagnose gastrointestinal neoplasms,some early stage,flat-type neoplasms may be overlooked by routine endoscopy. In recent years,endoscopic autofluorescence imaging( AFI)as a new technique, has been widely applied in clinical practice for enhancing the endoscopic diagnostic accuracy of gastrointestinal neoplasms,especially for early stage,flat-type neoplasms. This article reviewed the clinical application of AFI for diagnosis of gastrointestinal neoplasms.

Construction of knowledge service system for university students'innovation and undertaking training program was proposed by analyzing their difficulties in information access during innovation and undertaking train-ing.The key points in constructing knowledge service system were pointed out, namely establishing professional service teams, providing stereoscopic and diversified service, establishing feedback and evaluation systems, and building powerful platform for information exchange.

Objective To investigate the differences in the clinical application of the etiological subtypes of ischemic stroke according to the TOAST,ASCO and CISS criteria.Methods A total of 167 consecutive patients with fist-ever ischemic stroke were enrolled in the study.They were classified with the TOAST,ASCO and CISS criteria,respectively.The differences and consistency of subtype diagnosis of each etiology were compared.Results Compared with TOAST,ASCO grade 1 significantly increased the proportion of patients in a large atherosclerosis group (23.4％ vs.19.8％ ;x2 =4.167,P =0.031) and decreased that in a small vessel disease group (32.9％ vs.38.3％ ; x2 =4.923,P =0.022); similarly,CISS also significantly increased the proportion of patients in the large atherosclerosis group (37.1％ vs.19.8％ ;x2 =27.034,P ＜0.001)and decreased that in the small vessel disease group (19.2％ vs.38.3％;x2=25.289,P ＜ 0.001).However,ASCO grade 1 (34.1％ vs.28.1％;x2 =3.682,P=0.052) and CISS (32.9％ vs.28.1％;x2 =0.880,P =0.268) did not decrease the proportion of patients in a cryptogenic group.The consistency of the 3 typing methods was between moderate (other etiology group of TOAST/ASCO-1,κ =0.434) and excellent (cardioembolism group of TOAST/ASCO-1,κ =0.967).Conclusions Both ASCO-1 or CISS typing may not decrease the proportion of the patients with the subtype of cryptogenic stroke,but the consistency among all the subtypes was better.The design and characteristics of the diagnostic criteria in all subtypes with the 3 criteria should be considered in clinical practice.

Recently,the interest in a new surgical procedure named natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery has blossomed worldwidely.During these several years,quite a number of natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery experiments have been carried out on porcine models and even on humans,including transvaginal cholecystectomies,transgastric appendectomies,transvaginal appendectomies,transvesical peritoneoscopies,etc.This review article aims to discuss the current research status and the challenges of orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery.

Endothelial monocyte-activating polypeptide-Ⅱ (EMAP-Ⅱ ) is a novel proinflammatory cytokine with proinflammatory,proapoptotic and antiangiogenic properties.It is associated with many tumorassociated proteins,such as tumor necrosis factor,vascular endothelial growth factor,hypoxia inducible factor-1α,arginyl-tRNA synthetase,and insulin-like growth factor- Ⅰ.EMAP-Ⅱ has anti-tumor properties and has a good prospect in cancer prevention and treatment.

OBJECTIVE: Approach to the pharmacodynamics of cisatracurium in newborn. METHODS: Sixty patients were randomized to two groups: Group Ⅰ and Group Ⅱ , received( iv) 2ED95 or 3ED95 cisatracurium in 5 seconds respectively, n=30. Neuromuscular transmission was monitored and Intubation conditions were assessed at 120s after cisatracurium administration using a 4- part scale. Observe onset time, TOF no reaction period, duration of action, recovery index, duration in vivo. RESULTS: The muscular blockage and conditions of intubation after 120s were different between two groups( P0. 05) . CONCLUSIONS: 3ED95 cisatracurium produces quicker, safer onset time and acceptable intubating conditions in the great majority of newborn than 2ED95. The TOF no reaction period, duration of action and duration in vivo were longer in 3ED95 group than in 2ED95 group, but recovery index are no significant between 2 groups with dosage.

Chemotherapeutic drugs conventionally used for their cytotoxic activity can also exert their influence on the immune system by grooming the tumor microenvironment,abrogating immune tolerance and inciting immune reconstitution.Due to their immunomodulatory features,chemotherapeutics,used as a preconditioning regimen and combined with subsequent immunotherapy,can mobilize the immune system to generate antitumor immune response.The synergy between chemotherapy and immunotherapy has brought some enlightenment to the development of new protocols for cancer treatment.
