OBJECTIVE: To introduce the type and biological properties of medical polymer vehicle materials, and to evaluate its application in anticancer drugs. METHODS: A computer-based on-line research was performed in China Journal Full-text Database and Pubmed database published from 1990 to 2009. The key words were "polymer, anticancer drug, carrier". Articles concerning biological properties of medical polymer vehicle materials and its application in anticancer drugs were included. Meta analysis and repetitive studies were excluded. RESULTS: Quality of articles was assessed, and a total of 24 articles were included. Biological properties of medical polymer vehicle materials and its application in anticancer drugs were summarized. Medical polymer vehicle materials are novel technique with the development of pharmacological study, biomaterial study and clinical medicine. Good biocompatibility, biodegradability, regulation of degradation rate and good workability of polymer materials provided convenience and possibility for innovation of pharmaceutical preparation. Structure of drug carrier material, elevation of drug-loading efficiency, in vivo distribution, biodegradation function and effects of degradation product on bodies deserved further investigations. The study focus of anticancer drug high polymer carrier lies in the search of carrier materials with strong choice and good outcomes. CONCLUSION: Medical polymer carrier materials can control drug release speed by dosage form changes, which induced a stable drug concentration in vivo. The medical polymer carrier materials also can send drugs to a certain part of the body by release system, which cannot affect other regions in the body.

Objective To discuss the clinical observation of Montmorillonite combined with Compound Eosinophil-Lactobacillus Tablet in the treatment of pneumonia infants of antibiotic associated diarrhea (AAD).Methods Eighty pneumonia infants with antibiotic associated diarrhea were selected,they were divided into two groups according to the random number table method.The observation group (41 cases) was given Montmorillonite.The control group (39 cases) was given Montmorillonite and Compound Eosinophil-Lactobacillus.The efficacy of Montmorillonite combined with compound Eosinophil-Lactobacillus Tablet in the treatment of pneumonia infants of antibiotic associated diarrhea was evaluated by efficacy,clinical symptom,immune function changes and adverse reactions during the treatment period.Results After treatment,the effective rate of observation group was higher than that of the control group (P ＜ 0.05).After treatment,the fever time,correcting dehydration time,and antidiarrheal time of observation group was shorter than that of the control group (P ＜ 0.05).After treatment,the serum IgG,IgA,and T lymphocyte subsets of CD3+,CD4+ levels were significantly increased in the observation group (P ＜ 0.05).There was no statistical significance on CD8+ before and after treatment.In contrast,there were no statistical significance on the serum immunoglobulin and T lymphocyte subsets before and after treatment in the control group.During the treatment period,no adverse reaction occurred in two groups.Conclusion In summary,Montmorillonite combined with Compound Eosinophil-Lactobacillus Tablet had a good effect on AAD.They could quickly improve the symptoms of diarrhea and immunoglobulin levels in children.It was worthy of clinical use.

The incidence of gastric cancer is in the fourth place of all cancers in worldwide ,and the fatal-ity rate is in the second place .Standard chemotherapy regimens play an important role in prolonging gastric cancer survival rate.However,most of gastric cancers are in advanced stage when diagnose is finally made .The current medical practice can only meet the limited treatment options .In the last several decades ,study of the molecular mechanisms of gastric cancer gets constant new progress .By inhibiting the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(Her-2)for advanced gastric cancer,it provides a new treatment for patients.Trastuzumab is a kind of Her -2 monoclonal antibody .It is the first kind of targeted therapy drug for the treatment of metastatic gastric cancer .A combination of trastuzumab with cisplatin and 5-fluorouracil based chemotherapy benefits gastric cancer overall survival.Overexpression of Her -2 provides evidence for the targeted therapy .So we reviewed Her -2 excessive expression of gastric carcinoma in recent years and represented by bead sheet resistance to targeted therapy .In this paper ,research of overpression of Her -2 and targeted threrapy in gastric cancer are summarized .

AIM: To evaluate the use of 23G minimally invasive vitreous cutting system in the first stage of anterior segment reconstruction on severe ocular injury.
METHODS: Fifteen patients with ocular injuries including the corneal and scleral rupture associated hyphema, vitreous hernia in anterior chamber, traumatic lens rupture, lens subluxation, applied 23G minimally invasive vitreous cutting system in the first stage of anterior segment reconstruction.
RESULTS: The anterior ocular media of early postoperative became transparent quickly. No exudative lemma and no complications were found relate to puncture incisions after operations.
CONCLUSION:23G minimally invasive vitreous cutting system can be used in the first stage of anterior segment reconstruction on sever ocular injury. It can reduce iatrogenic injury, operative complications and inflammatory response, also can shorten therapeutic time and create favorable conditions.

To explore the value and attentive problems of the innovative practical teaching reform of dermatology staff room,the author constructed a new practical teaching system by carrying out advanced teaching methods,gradually establishing the on-line test system and setting up the evaluation and feedback system. The result showed that the innovative practical teaching reform of dermatology staff room had strong applicability and operability.

[Objective]To review the antitumor progress of Raddeanin A in nearly 10 years. [Method] Col ecting the antitumor research literature about Raddeanin A for nearly 10 years, describing its antitumor research mechanism, such as inducting of cellapoptosis blocking the cellcycle, blocking STATs signaling pathways and inhibiting the tumor angiogenesis. [Result] Raddeanin A could induce the H460 cellapoptosis, block LoVo cellcycle and STATs signaling pathways of LoVo cells, and inhibit HepG-2 cellangiogenesis. [Conclusion] The antitumor mechanism of Raddeanin A could be inducting of cellapoptosis, blocking the cellcycle, blocking STATs signaling pathways and inhibiting the tumor angiogenesis.

Objective To establish a three-dimensional finite element model of rapid canine tooth movement by reducing resistance and distracting procedures,and to discuss canine distal movement and force distribution of periodontium,and to provide theory basis for its clinical application.Methods Through 64-slice spiral scanning,temporomandibular joint (TMJ),the mandible,lower jaw denture section phantom DICOM data were obtained.Mimics software,Geomagic Studio 8.0 software,Unigraphics NX software,and Ansys11.0 software were mixed,and the three-dimensional finite element model were established under the conventional condition to move the canine (model 1 ),rapid canine movement through distracting osteggenesis of the periodontal ligament (model 2),rapid canine movement tooth movement through reducing resistance and distracting method (model 3),the strength were carried on three kind of models and the canine,the pericementum,the tooth socket bone stress distribution were observed.Results The biggest displacements on those three models occured in canine crown on 1/3,biggest displacement quantity:model 3 ＞model 2 ＞model 1,and the canine crown displacement reduced gradually from crown to the root point; in the model 1 most greatly equivalent stress mainly concentrated in the middle of distal alveolar crest,but in the models 2 and 3 most greatly equivalent stress centralism area shifted liguodistal alveolar crest.Conclusions In the process of canine distal movement,reducing bone resistance,can accelerate the tooth moving speed effectively and simultaneously,the canine has distal motion tendency.While under the action of force,the canine tends to move ligually with the canine distal movement,and thus appropriate measures should be taken to prevent canine lingual rotation in clinical work.

Background Cell immunologic therapy for retinoblastoma(RB)is becoming a hot research topic.Cancer-testis antigen is a human immunogenic protein and is used to treat some tumors.However,its effect on RB has not been investigated.Objective The present study was to discuss the antigen specific anti-tumor effect of cytotoxic T lymphocytes(CTL)induced by the cancer-testis antigen,NY-ESO-1-sensitized dendritic cells(DCs),on human RB.Methods PCR was performed to amplify target gene fragments from the NY-ESO-1 plasmids,and then the target gene fragments were digested with the restriction enzymes SalI and EcoRI.Harvested fragments were inserted into the pDC316 plasmid to construct the recombinant plasmid pDC316/NY-ESO-1.The expression of NY-ESO-1 protein in human RB cells strain,HXO-RB44,was detected by immunofluorescence and Western blot.Monocytes were isolated from 60 ml of peripheral blood from a healthy donor using Ficoll density-gradient centrifugation with a cell density of 1 × 107/ml.DCs isolated from blood were stimulated with recombinant human granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor(rhGM-CSF)and recombinant human interleukin-4(rhIL-4).The recombinant plasmid pDC316/NY-ESO-1 was transfected into DCs and the DCs were co-cultured with T lymphocytes.The resultant CTL were used as effector cells.The growth of the CTL was detected by MTT assay.The CTL were then added into the growth medium used for culturing HXO-RB44 cells and the vitality of the HXO-RB44 cells was assayed by MTT assay.Results The sequence of the cloned DNA fragment of the recombinant plasmid pDC316/NY-ESO-1 was conforms with the sequence of the NY-ESO-1 gene.The expression of the NY-ESO-1 protein in HXO-RB44 cells was tested by immunofluorescence and Western blot.DCs were successfully induced with rhIL-4 and rhGM-CSF from PBMC.The recombinant expression plasmid pDC316/NY-ESO-1 was successfully transferred into DCs.These DCs had high expression of surface molecules such as HLA-DR(42.1％),CD80(54.2％),CD83(39.7％)and CD86 (94.8％).The CTL that was induced by DCs-sensitized with NY-ESO-1 specifically killed HXO-RB44 cells.CTL induced by the sensitized DCs had a stronger cytotoxic effect against HXO-RB44 cells compared with un-sensitized DCs and CTL un-induced with DCs,as shown by MTT asssay(P＜0.05).The anti-tumor activity was highest when the ratio of effector to target was 75∶1(P＜0.05).Conclusions DCs transfected by the recombinant plasmid pDC316/NY-ESO-1 can induce the proliferation of allogenic CTLs,which showed a specific anti-tumor effect against HXO-RB44 cells.These results present a new type of immunotherapy for the treatment of RB.

AIM:To compare the clinical efficacy of three combined surgical treatments for cataract induced by silicone oil -filled eye.
METHODS: The data of 75 eyes of 75 patients with cataract induced by silicone oil-filled eye were reviewed. Those patients were divided into group A, B, C. The patients in group A were treated by phacoemulsification combined with silicone oil removal through pupil and IOL implantation, the patients in group B were treated by phacoemulsification combined with silicone oil removal through 23G vitrectomy system and IOL implantation, the patients in group C were treated by phacoemulsification combined with silicone oil removal through 20G vitrectomy system and IOL implantation. The operation time, intraocular pressure, best corrected visual acuity ( BCVA ) , discomfort days and complications before and after the surgery were compared.
RESULTS: The differences of the intraocular pressure were not statistically significant between the three groups after the surgery. The BCVA of the three groups were all improved, but the differences were not statistically significant between three groups. The differences in postoperative complications showed no statistically significant. Otherwise, group A and B cost less operation time. The discomfort days of group A were less than other groups.
CONCLUSION: Three different surgical methods were safe and effective, appropriate surgical approach could be chosen according to the patients' clinical manifestations. For patients with cataract induced by silicone oil-filled eye whose retina recovered well, phacoemulsification combined with silicone oil removal through pupil and IOL implantation is a time-saving, safe and effective method.
