1.Ezrin protein in tumor metastasis associated signaling pathways
Journal of International Oncology 2012;(11):815-817
Ezrin protein plays an important role in morphogenesis, motility, adhesion. Moreover,Ezrin protein participates in multiple steps of the process of tumor invasion and metastasis. In the progress of tumor metastasis,Ezrin protein is related to several signaling pathways such as Rho mediated signaling pathways, hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) pathways,Fas mediated cell apoptosis signaling pathways, phosphatidyl inositol 3-kinase (PI3K)-Akt pathways, and in which it plays different regulatory role.
3.Differential expression of Ezrin in cervical cancer tissues and the relationship between Ezrin and PCNA, MMP-2, MMP-9, HPV
China Oncology 2013;(11):904-909
Background and purpose:Previous studies have revealed potential roles for Ezrin in a variety of cancers. Ezrin participates in several functions including cell adhesion, motility and cell survival, and there is increasing evidence that it regulates tumour progression. This study aimed to determine the differential expression of Ezrin between cervical cancer tissues and normal controls and to explore the association of Ezrin expression with clinical pathological characteristics and with the expression of PCNA, MMP-2, MMP-9 and HPV E6 protein. Methods:Retrospective study was performed among 30 cervical cancer tissue samples which were diagnosed in our hospital from Jan. 2002 to Dec. 2006. Ten normal cervixes from uterine myomas were employed as normal controls. Semi-quantitative immunohistochemisty analysis was performed to detect the association of Ezrin expression with clinical pathological characteristics, and with expression of PCNA, MMP-2 and MMP-9, HPV E6 protein in cervical cancer tissue and normal controls. Analyze the association of Ezrin expression with the clinical characteristics. Results:The expression of Ezrin was strong and the distribution was diffuse mainly in the cytoplasm and membrane in cervical cancer tissues, while the normal cervical tissues was weak and mainly in the membrane. However, there was no signiifcant association between the expression of Ezrin and the clinical characteristics including tumor stage, histology and grade. Ezrin expression was positively correlated with the expression of MMP-2, MMP-9 and HPV E6 protein in cervical cancer tissues, except PCNA. Conclusion:Ezrin was over-expressed in cervical cancer tissues and may be involved in the progress of invasion and metastasis in cervical cancer.

To investigate amethod which could prolong the efficient time of morphine and decrease side effect. Met hods:100 patients were randomly divided into four groups, receiving the different dispensation of analgesia. Analgesic solutions were given into epi dural space 510 minutes before operation was finished. Analgesic efficiency, efficient time, and side effects were recorded. esult: Sol utions diluted with hypertonia glucose injection might prolong the efficient time obviously (P<0.01). When combined with bupivacaine or scopolamine the sid e effects were decreased. Conclusion: Morphine combined wi th bupivacaine or scopolamine diluted with hypertonis glucose injection, used in epidural analgesia, can bring longer efficient time and less side effects.

Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(02):-
Objective To explore the DNA damage in the bone-marrow cells of the mice exposed to the low level of gaseous benzene. Methods 615 mice were divided into 4 groups randomly, 6 in each: the control group, benzene exposed group, group immited by L615K lymphocyte cell, group immited by L615K lymphocyte cell and benzene exposed in combination. Benzene was exposed at the level of 1 mg/m3, 6 h per day for 10 days. SCGE was used to detect the DNA damage in the bone-marrow cells of the mice. Results Compared with the control, the DNA damage were significantly severe in the other 3 groups. But the DNA damage of the group immited by L615K lymphocyte cell and benzene exposed in combination was significantly lower than that of the group immited by L615K lymphocyte cell. The spleen and liver indexes were higher in the two groups immited by L615K lymphocyte cell and immited by L615K lymphocyte cell plus benzene exposed compared with the control group. Conclusion Benzene exposure at the low level can induce the DNA damage in the bone-marrow cells of the mice, but for those lymphatic leukemia mice, benzene exposure at the low level may inhibit this kind of damage, to elucidate the mechanism, further studies needs to be done.

Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1982;0(01):-
Case report of autopsy from acute water intoxication is very rare. It accounts for 0.1% of allautopsys done in our University. Recently forensic autopsy was made in a case of acute water intoxication. Water intoxication often causes medical dispate resulted from transfusion. Thus a forensic appraisal standard was advanced, including: ① There was history of reduction of exterocellular osmotic pressure ② Cerebral edema, lung edema and more excretion are shown in clinic. ③ Concentration of the blood sodium was lower than 120mmol/L. ④ The transfusion order or speed was not proper. ⑤ Cause of death from general disease, injury and poisoning can be ruled out by autopsy.

Through study on Bianque Shenying Zhenjiu Yulong Jing (Bianque's Classic of Effective Acupuncture Prescriptions), acupuncture experiences and ideology of WANG Guo-rui, an acupuncture physician of the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368), is discussed in this article. Inherited and carried forward DOU's acupuncture theory, WANG Guo-rui encouraged to use experiential points and to expand extra points. Penetrating needling method was created, and the application of acupoints according to needling opportunities and seasonal factors were enriched by him. Great importance was also attached on treatment according to differentiation of syndromes, which including the simultaneous acupuncture and moxibustion, simultaneous reinforcing and reducing, reducing after reinforcing, reinforcing after reducing, predomination of reducing and predomination of reinforcing. The flexible treating methods are still extensively adopted in clinic nowadays. WANG Guo-rui is a master of clinical acupuncture who made great contribution to the development of acupuncture and moxibustion.
