Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2005;3(1):53-56
In the literatures from 1994-2004, points selected for treatment of insomnia were Shenmen (HT 7), Sanyinjiao (SP 6), Taichong (LR 3), Baihui (GV 20), Sishencong (Ex-HN 1),Taixi (KI 3) and Anmian etc. Most of the key acupoints are yuan-source points of yin meridians or located at head region, and back-sbu points were selected as coordinative points.
2.Research progress in diagnosis and treatment of radioiodine-refractory differentiated thyroid cancer
China Oncology 2017;27(6):442-450
Surgery, selective radioiodine therapy and thyroid stimulating hormone suppressive therapy are the standard treatment modalities for differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC). After therapy, most DTC patients could get good prognosis. However, some patients with distant metastasis lose the ability to concentrate radioiodine at early time or during the treatment, and develop radioiodine-refractory DTC (RAIR-DTC). These patients progress quickly and have high mortality. Looking for effective treatments for these patients has been the hot spot in research of thyroid carcinoma. In this paper, we summarized the recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment of RAIR-DTC, hoping to early identify these patients and buy time for early intervention of other possible beneficial treatments such as targeted therapy and radiotherapy.
3.Inhibition of Hepatic Stellate Cell Proliferation and Extracellular Ca2+ Influx by Leptin-siRNA
Acta Medicinae Universitatis Scientiae et Technologiae Huazhong 2014;(6):631-635
Objective To evaluate the effect of silencing leptin by small interfering RNA(siRNA)on the expression of lep‐tin ,and apoptosis ,proliferation and intracellular Ca2+ concentration([Ca2+ ]i )of hepatic stellate cells(HSCs)and to provide evi‐dence for liver fibrosis gene therapy. Methods HSCs were divided into normal control group ,blank vector group ,siRNA nega‐tive control group and leptin‐siRNA group. After transfection of the leptin‐siRNAs into HSCs ,cell proliferation was measured by MTT assay.Cell cycle and apoptosis were measured by flow cytometry.Expression of leptin was detected by immunocyto‐chemistry and Western blot. [Ca2+ ]i was measured by Fura‐2/AM loading. Results Compared with the normal control group , the blank vector group and the siRNA control group ,the protein expression of leptin and the cell growth were significantly in‐hibited in the leptin‐siRNA group(P<0.05). The proliferation rate of HSCs was significantly different at different time points (24 ,48 and 72 h)(P<0.05).The cell apoptosis rate was increased significantly in the leptin‐siRNA group(P<0.01).At the same time ,Leptin‐siRNA‐induced [Ca2+ ]i was also significantly reduced(P<0.05).Conclusion The leptin gene may play an important role in liver fibrosis progression and is potentially a novel predictive and prognostic marker for liver fibrosis.
4.Modification and application of the third-generation adenovirus vectors
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2000;0(07):-
Adenovirus as gene transfer vector is characterized by high transfection efficiency, high titer, good stability in target cells and low pathogenicity, and has been widely used in gene therapy.Compared to first-and second-generation adenovirus vectors, the third-generation adenovirus vectors have unique advantages for gene therapy because of their low immunogenicity and high capacity. However, the clinical application of the third-generation adenovirus vectors is hampered by the existance of helper contamination and difficulties in their large-scale production.

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2021;37(13):1020-1026
Objective:To explore the nursing efficacy of 321 health education model on maintenance hemodialysis patients with itchy skin. Methods:A total of 97 cases of maintenance hemodialysis patients with itchy skin from January 2019 to December 2019 in the Central Hospital of Panzhihua were divided into control group of 49 cases and study group of 48 cases by table of random number. The patients in control group were taken with conventional nursing and health propaganda measures while the patients in study group accepted a different nursing mode of combining 321 health education model. The Chinese version of the Four-Item Itch Questionnaire (FIIQ), the Chinese version of the Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI), and the Chinese version of the Kidney Disease Questionnaire (KDQ) were used to evaluate the skin itchy status and its influences to patients′ life and life quality of the 2 groups before and after intervention. Results:There was no significant difference in the skin itchy status and its influences to patients′ life and life quality before intervention between the two groups( P>0.05). After intervention, the total score of FIIQ, and the scores of the three dimensions of itchy degree, itchy frequency, and influences on sleep were respectively (7.46 ± 0.94), (1.83 ± 0.26), (1.92 ± 0.29), (1.86 ± 0.23), which were all lower than the same data of the control group patients: (12.36 ± 1.24), (2.69 ± 0.31), (3.02 ± 0.42), (2.91 ± 0.37), showing differences with statistical significance ( t values were 14.79-21.90, P<0.05). After intervention, the total score of the DLQI, and the scores of five dimensions of symptom perception, daily life, entertainment and leisure, work and study, and treatment of the patients in study group were respectively (10.55 ± 1.27), (2.85 ± 0.29), (2.11 ± 0.32), (2.47 ± 0.29), (1.72 ± 0.25), and (2.21 ± 0.27), which were all lower than the same data of patients in control group: (14.47 ± 1.78), (3.92 ± 0.37), (1.57 ± 0.22), (1.64 ± 0.25), (1.26 ± 0.18), (1.21 ± 0.11), indicating statistically significant difference ( t values were 9.67-23.80, P<0.05). After intervention, the total score of KDQ and the scores of the four dimensions of physical symptoms, fatigue, depression, and frustration of the patients in study group were respectively (121.66 ± 15.91), (27.36 ± 3.02), (24.44 ± 3.44), (26.71 ± 3.58), and (19.28 ± 2.66), which were all higher than the same data of patients in control group: (108.38 ± 14.69), (24.51 ± 2.64), (22.60 ± 3.41), (22.45 ± 3.47), (14.92 ± 2.04), presenting differences with statistical significance ( t values were -9.07 - -2.65, P<0.05). Conclusions:For maintenance hemodialysis patients with itchy skin, the nursing intervention by 321 health education model can effectively ease the itchy skin problem, relieve the impact of itchy skin on patients' lives, and improve the life quality of patients.
8.Expression and clinical significance of interleukin-17 and Th17 cells in the peripheral blood of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus
Chinese Journal of Rheumatology 2010;14(10):672-676
Objective To determine the protein and mRNA levels ofinterleukin-17 (IL-17) and the proportion of Th17 cells in the peripheral blood of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and their clinical significance is analyzed. Methods Twenty-five hospitalized SLE patients were recruited and twentytwo healthy volunteers were enrolled as normal controls. Plasma protein and mRNA of IL-17 in the peripheral blood were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and real time-PCR respectively. Flow cytometric assay was used to analyze the percentage of Th17 cells in SLE patients. The relationship between IL-17/Th17 cells and clinical or laboratory parameters of SLE patients was explored. Students' t-test and Spearman's correlation was used to evaluate the relationship between mRNA level and inflammatory parameters. Results The plasma concentration and mRNA level of IL-17 was significantly elevated in SLE patients as compared to the normal controls (P<0.05). The percentage of Th17 cells in patients with SLE was higher than that of normal controls and was significantly increased in more active SLE patients and SLE with nephritis than less active SLE and SLE without nephritis (P<0.05). Both plasma levels of IL-17 and the proportion of Th17 cells were positively correlated with SLEDAI (r=0.681, P<0.01; r=0.426, P=0.034). Conclusion Plasma IL-17 protein and mRNA expression level and the percentage of Th17 cells in SLE patients are all significantly elevated and the close relationship between IL-17/Th17 cells and disease activity suggests that IL-17/Th17 may play an important role in the pathogenesis of SLE.

Chinese Journal of Ultrasonography 2003;0(12):-
Objective To study the diagnostic value of high-frequency color Doppler ultrasound (CDU) on the obstruction of proximal deferent duct. Methods One hundred and twenty-three patients with scrotal diseases (aged 23-67 years old) were examined by CDU with 5-10 MHz transducer. Among the cases, infertility was in 88, vasoligation in 8, and epididymal nodes in 27. The sonographic appearances of the obstruction of the deferent duct were analysed, compared with that of normal deferent duct. Results Of the 123 cases, the obstruction of the deferent duct was in 72, included absence of deferent duct in 6, epididymal malformation in 9, epididymitis in 37, epididymal neoplasms in 5, and dilatation of testic rete and testic efferent duct in 3. Twenty-two patients underwent surgery, confirmed the sonographic appearances of the obstruction of proximal deferent duct. Conclusions Obstruction of proximal deferent duct could be assessed by high-frequency CDU. It is helpful for distinguishing the causes of the obstruction of proximal deferent duct and choosing their therapy scheme.
