1. Effect of Tongluo recipe on leptin and insulin in rat model of type 1 diabetes mellitus
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2011;32(6):630-632
Objective To study the effect of Tongluo recipe on leptin and insulin in rat model of type 1 diabetes mellitus. Methods A total of 30 adult male SD rats were equally randomized into the following 3 groups: normal control group, diabetes mellitus group and Tongluo recipe group. SD rats were administered intraperitoneally with STZ (60 mg/kg) to induce the model of type 1 diabetes mellitus. The rats in Tongluo recipe group were administered intragastrically with Tongluo recipe (1.0g·kg-1·d-1), and the other two groups were administered intragastrically with double distilled water in the same dosage. The body weight, white adipose tissue weight, fasting blood glucose, fasting insulin, total cholesterol, triglyceride, free fatty acid, and leptin levels were compared between each group 8 weeks later. The expression of leptin mRNA in white adipose tissue was examined. Results Compared with diabetes mellitus group, the body weight, fasting insulin, and leptin were significantly higher (P<0.05or0.01) in the Tongluo recipe group, the levels of fasting blood glucose, total cholesterol, and free fatty acid were significantly lower (P<0.05or0.01) in Tongluo recipe group, and the expression of leptin mRNA was significantly higher (P<0.05) in the Tongluo recipe group. Conclusion Tongluo recipe may correct the disturbance in the lipid and glucose metabolism by improving the low leptin and insulin levels in diabeticrats.
2. Adipokine signal transduction pathways and its secretion in obese patients
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;31(10):1123-1127
Adipose tissue is traditionally regarded only as an energy storage and a filler between tissues/organs. However, other important functions of adipose tissue begin to be discovered with the discovery of adipokines. Adipose tissue is also an endocrine organ, which secrets different kinds of adipokines, affecting the target organs through autocrine, paracrine and the blood circulation, and playing important roles in the pathogenesis of the obesity, insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes mellitus. This paper reviews the signal transduction pathways of adiponectin, leptin and resistin, and their changes during obesity.

4.Status Survey and Analysis on Package Inserts of Chinese Patent Drug
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(3):117-120
Objective To put forward suggestions for improving the writing standards of package inserts of Chinese patent drug in China. Methods Totally 84 package inserts of Chinese patent drug were chosen randomly. The labeled items in them would be investigated and analyzed according to legal documents in China. Results The rate of complete labeled items was 0%. Meanwhile, many problems existed in the items which affected medication safety seriously. In addition, there were defects in expression of the content, revision of package inserts of Chinese patent drug and so on. Conclusion It is urgent to improve the writing standards and the completeness of the labeled items as well as the scientificalness on the expressions of package inserts of Chinese patent drug.
5.Advances in the stem cell-like side population cells
Tianjin Medical Journal 2016;44(4):505-508
Recently, stem cell like side population (SP) cells have been found in many normal organizations and malig?nant tumors, which have the proficiency of differentiation and self-renewal. These cells play an important role in cancer stem cell research, though they occupy a low proportion in total cells. Here, we reviewed the foundation of SP cells, and their rela?tionship with stem cells, and the clinical application in the future.
6.Analysis and Evaluation of PIVAS Workflow Optimization in Our Hospital
China Pharmacist 2015;18(10):1836-1837
Objective:To analyze and evaluate the effect after the PIVAS workflow optimization in our hospital. Methods: One-for-one grouping preparation was carried out by pharmacists and nurses. The checking of medicines, solvents and empty ampoules be-fore and after the preparation was performed by pharmacists, and the preparation of infusions was operated by nurses according to the operation specification. The preparation workload, error number in each link and damage of ampoules and finished goods before the op-timization and in 5 months after the optimization were compared. Results:The working efficiency was obviously improved with less time of about 0. 5 h for the same workload, the error rate was decreased by 40%, and the ampoule damage was reduced by 60% before and during the preparation. Conclusion:The PIVAS workflow optimization improves the working efficiency and management level.
7.Functions and service of WeChat platform in domestic academic libraries
Chinese Journal of Medical Library and Information Science 2016;25(12):61-66
The functions and service of WeChat platform in domestic academic libraries were summarized in order to find out the satisfied aspects ( such as its response speed, interface design and operation) and unsatisfied aspects (interaction efficiency, push quality and popularization) of users with the functions and service of WeChat plat-form. Measures should be taken for improving the unsatisfied aspects in order to meet the users' requirements, and suggestions were put forward for optimizing the functions of WeChat platform and perfecting its service, such as atta-ching importance to the WeChat public platform construction and improving its service in order to transform the aca-demic libraries into intelligent libraries.
8.The expression and effect of IL-18 after hypoxic-ischemic brain damage
Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2001;0(02):-
Objective To explore the expression and effect of interleukin(IL)-18 after hypoxic-ischemic brain damage(HIBD) in neonatal rats. Methods The HIBD model of seven-day-old Wistar rats was established. The mRNA and protein for IL-18 in cerebral cortex of control group, HIBD3 h, 8 h, 24 h, 3 d, 6 d and 14 d group were analyzed by RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry respectively, at the same time histological changes were observed. Results The expression of IL-18 mRNA and protein was low in control group[mRNA: 0.321 8?0.046 6; protein: (6.033? 1.019)cells/field]. After HIBD, the level of mRNA/protein for IL-18 in ischemic cortex increased progressively at 24 h to 6 d [mRNA: 24 h: 0.582 3?0.074 0, 3 d:0.697 6 ?0.107 3, 6 d: 0.911 0?0.064 7; protein: 24 h: (19.133?2.094)cells/field, 3 d: (28.900 ?1.589) cells/field, 6 d: (52.883?3.203)cells/field; P

10.Intracranial and Extracranial Arteriovenous System Impairment after Pulmonary Cancer: 1 Case Report
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2012;18(1):87-89
Objective To analysis the etiology of intracranial and extracranial arteriovenous system impairment after pulmonary cancer. Methods A patient with pulmonary cancer with deep venous thrombosis, jugular venous thrombosis and cerebral infarction was analysed and reviewed combined with the literature. Results Pulmonary cancer could impair intracranial and extracranial arteriovenous system by hypercoagulability, anticoagulation system abnormalities and vascular wall damage, which could be manifested as cerebral infarction and deep venous thrombosis. Conclusion The hypercoagulable state secondary to pulmonary cancer is one of the main causes of intracranial and extracranial arteriovenous system thrombosis.
