Medical societies, which boast the elite of the medical circles, have not only important historic missions but also great advantages in public health advancement. For this reason, their role in the following aspects ought to be brought into greater play: stepping up research on the situation and trends of public health advancement; intensifying perspective study on the prevention and treatment abroad of infectious diseases; reinforcing health education for all people; carrying out continuing medical education with regard to seasonal infectious diseases; offering prevention and treatment guidance in public health via long distance consultation networks; and making concerted efforts in tackling key problems by making use of quality human resources.
3.Raman spectrum technology in tumor research application
Cancer Research and Clinic 2008;20(3):213-216
The protein, the fats, the carbohydrate and the nucleic acid are the main constituent material of normal cell and organizations. In the early process of becoming malignant, these chemical substance's structure, the conformation and quantity has had the obvious change, but this time clinical symptoms and medicine phantom study still has not obvious change. But the Raman spectrum can actually reflect these changes. Therefore the Raman spectrum technology becomes important means of the malignant tumor early diagnosis and the cancer mechanism research hopefully. This article makes a summary on the present as well as the progress reviewed of Raman spectrum technology in the tumor research application.
4.Effects of combined general and epidural anesthesia on intestinal barrier function after obstructive jaun-dice surgery
The Journal of Clinical Anesthesiology 2016;32(5):438-440
Objective To investigate the effects of combined general and epidural anesthesia on intestinal barrier function in patients with obstructive jaundice after surgery. Methods Forty patients with obstructive jaundice, male 1 5 cases, female 25 cases, aged 26-65 years,of ASA Ⅰ-Ⅲ,with TBIL >100 μmol/L were randomly divided into two groups (n =20):the general intravenous anes-thesia group (group GA)and the combined general and epidural anesthesia group (group GE).Pa-tients of group GA with oxygen mask rapid intubate induction of endotracheal after general anesthesia. Patients of group GE take left side line of T8~9 or T9 ~1 0 segmental epidural puncture and insert cathe-ter,after changing the hypothesis to be 2% lidocaine 5 ml for test quantity, confirm without anesthe-sia complications and other abnormalities after general anesthesia 5 minutes later.Peripheral venous blood was sampled when entering the operating room (T1 ),and at the end of operation (T2 ),24 hours after operation(T3 )and 48 hours after operation (T4 ).The concentration of D-lactate (D-LA) was measured using ELISA method. Also polymerase chain reaction (PCR)was performed for quali-tative detection of Escherichia coli specific beta galactosidase gene BG.Results Compared with T1 , Plasma D-LA level in two groups at T2-T4 were increased gradually and it was significantly higher in group GA than in group GE at T2-T4 with significant difference (P <0.05).The Escherichia coli DNA test was negative at T1 ,the positive rate of Escherichia coli DNA gradually increased, and it was significantly higher in group GA than in group GE at T4 with significant difference(P <0.05).Conclusion Compared with the general intravenous anesthesia, general anesthesia combined with epidural anesthesia may relieve the intestinal barrier injury in patients with obstructive jaundice after surgery.
5.Advanced understanding in the effect of hypoxia on the expression of matrix metalloproteinase in the promotion of tumor-metastasis
China Oncology 2006;0(12):-
Hypoxia is very common in solid tumor. It results in a series of changes of biological behavior in tumor cells.Hypoxia could facilitate malignant cells metastasis,in which the hypoxia inducible factor-1 plays an important role. The hypothesis for the tumor cells to metastasis is the degradation of the extracellular matrix(ECM).The ECM can be degraded by the matrix metalloproteinase, which is a critical factor in the process of tumor-metastasis.So far,it is not clear whether hypoxia have a role in the regulation of MMPs in tumor. So this review summarize the advanced knowledge on the influence of HIF-1 and MMPs in tumor-metastasis and the interaction between two genes.
6.THE EFFECT OF RAPEPOLLEN ON SERUM CHOLESTEROL, TRIGLYCERIDE AND FATTY ACID LEVELS IN RATS
Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(03):-
The effect of rapepollen on the level of serum cholesterol, triglyceride and fatty acids were investigated experimentally in rats. Results revealed that the rapepollen had potencies to lower cholesterol and triglyceride and alter the composition of serum fatty acids such as decreasing oleic acid and increasing archidonic acid in the rapepollen fed group as compared with control.
7.Nutritional assessment and intervention of hand-foot-mouth disease in children
Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2013;(9):854-857
Objectives To conduct nutritional risk assessment analysis of hand-foot-mouth disease in children and to explore rational and feasible nutritional intervention. Methods The information of children with hand-foot-mouth disease in three hospitals in Guilin area was collected by ifxed-spot continuous sampling. Inquiry investigations, physical mea-surements combined with clinical diagnosis were undertaken, and nutritional risk assessment and management were con-ducted by the malnutrition screening tool of children (STAMP scoring). Those with STAMP scores ≥4 were considered at high nutritional risk. Nutritional risk reassessment was conducted on children with high nutritional risk after nutritional intervention and management. Results A total of 192 children with hand-foot-mouth disease were selected. The occur-rence rate of high nutritional risk was 68.75%(132/192). The hospitalization time of patients with high nutritional risk was prolonged and the hospitalization expense was increased apparently. The nutritional support treatment and nutritional edu-cation were undertaken on the children with high nutritional risk. The incidence of high nutritional risk from admission to discharge decreased from 68.75%to 36.98%(P<0.05). The clinical outcomes of those children accepting nutritional inter-vention were signiifcantly improved (P<0.05). Conclusions The occurrence and prognosis of hand-foot-mouth disease is closely related to the nutritional status of children, so nutritional risk assessment, nutritional intervention and management should be performed as early as possible.
9.Exercise-induced Weight Reduce and Leptin (review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2006;12(10):883-885
With the standard of living improved, people had less and less interests in exercise, adiposity has being a problem that people have to be up against all over the world. Exercise can step up energy expenditure, decrease fat accumulation, minish the volume of fat cell, and is one of widely used, effective, safe, economical measures of anti-adiposity. The adaptable change of neuroendocrine system in exercise quicken up fat to burn more. Leptine is an important signal of measuring fat content of body. The relationship between adiposity and leptin, and the effect of exercise on leptin was reviewed in this paper.
