1.Diurnal variation, moon phase and seasonal variation in onset of stroke
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2003;9(5):284-285
ObjectiveTo determine the diurnal variation, moon phase, and seasonal variation in the onset of stroke. MethodsThe time parameters, including the time, the moon phase and the season of the stroke occurrence for 905 in-patients from 1989-2001 were investigated.ResultsThere was a significant difference (D=0.155,P<0.01) for circadian rhythm in the onset of 321 cases with cerebral infarction, and the incidence frequency at dawn was much higher than that at other time, but the difference of the moon phase and seasonal rhythm in the onset of cerebral infarction were not significant(P>0.05).There were not diurnal variation, moon phase and seasonal rhythms in the onset for cerebral haemorrhage(P>0.05).ConclusionsThe cerebral infarction occur more frequently at dawn time.
4.Investigation and analysis of nursing undergraduate's graduation thesis writing
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2012;11(3):278-280
ObjectiveTo understand the nursing undergraduates' graduation thesis writing,to provide basis for the revised management plan and improve the overall quality of graduation thesis. Methods A self-designed questionnaire was given to 158 four-year program nursing graduates of Grade 2006 by group and the questionnaires were collected timely and analyzed with SPSS 17.0.Results63.19% of students thought it necessary to write thesis,86.71% thought internship beneficial for wrting and 64.6% hoped to finish the thesis writing before the practice because of great pressure.ConclusionStudents' recognition degree to graduation thesis directly affects the quality of thesis writing.A reasonable teaching plan should be made and school resources should be fully used to improve the quality of thesis writing.
5.Basic techniques for gastric cancer surgery
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2011;10(6):401-404
Surgery for gastric cancer is based on basic surgical techniques and modern theory of surgery.Accurate and safe surgical procedures are carried out based on application of scientific principles. The knowledge of gastric anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology is the basis of the gastric cancer surgery. The technical aspects of vascular control, lymph node dissection, digestive tract resection and reconstruction are important for the gastric cancer surgery.Full use of these techniques and mastery of the technology is an important guarantee for reducing surgical complications, improving the quality of life and longterm survival of gastric cancer patients.
6.The role of probiotics in the prevention and treatment of childhood asthma
International Journal of Pediatrics 2012;(6):545-548,553
“Hygiene hypothesis” may be the reason for the increased incidence of childhood asthma in recent years.A large number of clinical studies indicate that, probiotics, which play a positive role in the digestive system diseases, can prevent and treat children atopic dermatitis as well as food allergies, but the conclusions of prevention and treatment of asthma have been inconsistent.More and more of the animal experiments show that probiotics have benefical effects in the prevention or therapy of asthma, its mechanism is still in the exploration, probiotics such as lactobacillus will provide a new clinical thought for the prevention and treatment of childhood asthma in the future.
7.A new flavone glycoside from Salsola collina
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(12):-
Objective To study the constituents of Salsola collina. Methods The chemical constituents were isolated and purified by various chromatographic methods and their structures were elucidated by analyses of spectral data and physicochemical properties. Results Three compounds were isolated and identified as tricin-7-O-?-D-apiosyl(1→2)-?-D-glucopyranoside(Ⅰ),tianshic acid(Ⅱ),and n-hentriacontanol (Ⅲ).Conclusion CompoundⅠis a new compound named collinoside, compoundⅡis isolated from S.collina for the first time.
8.Comprehensive Treatment for Patients with Severe Viral Hepatitis
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(03):-
This paper is to report the results of comprehensive treatment for 78 patients with severe viral hepatitis(SVH). The overall survival rate was 39.74%, and the survival rates of subacute and chronic SVH were 48.39% and 34.04% respectively. Compared with the survival rate of 10-30% reported abroad and 27.9% of our previous report, the survival rate after comprehensive therapy was slightly improved. After analyzing the results, the authors suggest that besides early diagnosis, prompt treatment, intensive basic treatment, and energetic prevention ' and treatment of the complications, further exploration for new and effective therapeutic agents be of prime importance to improve the survival rate of SVH.
9.MRI features and differential diagnosis of multiple myeloma in the vertebra
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2003;0(05):-
Objective:To study the MRI features and its value in diagnosis and differential diagnosis of the vertebral multiple myeloma(MM).Methods: The MRI features of 16 patients with vertebral MM proved by histology were retrospectively analyzed. Results: The vertebral MM was classified into the following four types :Normal type accounted for 6.25%,in which the lesions were mild hyper-intensity on T1WI and iso-intensity on T2WI.Diffuse type accounted for 56.25%,in which the lesions were diffuse hypo-intensity with clear border on T1WI and hyper-intensity with indistinct border or iso-intensity on T2WI.Localized type accounted for 18.75%,in which the lesions were multiple nodular or patchy hypo-intensity on T1WI and mild hyper-intensity or iso-intensity on T2WI."Salt with pepper" type accounted for 18.75%,in which the lesions were diffuse spot-like mixed hyper-,iso-and hypo-intensity.The all lesions were hyper-intensity on STIR images. The involved vertebrae were continuous, which accounted for 68.75%.The vertebral bodies were metamorphosed in 5 cases(31.25%).The appendixes were involved in 4 cases(25%).The paravertebral soft tissue mass was found in only 1 case(6.25%).Conclusion: The vertebral MM has some features on MRI.MRI is valuable in diagnosis and differential diagnosis of the vertebral MM.
10.Clinical application of combined detection of CEA,CA125 and LDH in benign and malignant hydrothorax and ascites identification
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2015;(1):91-92
Objective To investigate the clinical application value of the determination of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA),car-bohydrate antigen 125 (CA125)and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH)in the differential diagnosis of malignant hydrothorax and asci-tes.Methods The Beckmancoulter ACCESS2 automatic micro particle chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer was adopted to determine the CEA and CA125 levels in hydrothorax and ascites, and the Roche C501 automatic biochemical analyzer was used to determine the LDH level in hydrothorax and ascites. The clinical application value of these three indicators in the evaluation of be-nign and malignant hydrothorax and ascites was evaluated. Results The differences in the expression levels of CEA,CA125 and LDH between benign and malignant hydrothorax and ascites had statistical significance (P <0.01 );the positive rate of CEA, CA125 and LDH in malignant hydrothorax and ascites were 84.21%,92.98%,75.44%.Conclusion The combined detection of CEA,CA125 and LDH has an important value in differential diagnosis of benign and malignant hydrothorax and ascites.
