1.Cure Warts Capsules Combined with Burt's res-q Ointment in the Treatment of 40 Cases of Verruca Plana
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2014;(1):47-48,49
[Purpose] To observe the clinical effects, relapse rate and security of treating the verruca plana with the cure warts capsules combined with Burt's res-q ointment. [Methods] Eighty patients with verruca plana were randomly divided into two groups. Forty patients in the combination group received cure warts capsules combined with Burt's res-q ointment; others in the control group received 0.1% al-transretinoic acid cream only. The courses of treatment of two groups was four weeks, then observe the number of verruca plana and bad reaction after the treatment, and record four weeks fol ow-up observation of relapse. [Results] The effective rate of treatment group was 92.50%which was significantly higher than the control group that the effective rate was 50.00% , and the former’s relapse rate was 3.40% which was significantly lower than that in the group which was 44.40% , the above showed significant difference(P<0.05).There was no significant side effects in the two groups. [Conclusion] Cure warts capsules combined with Burt's res-q ointment had better effect, low relapse rate and high safety.

Purpose To assess the value of 2-(fluorine-18) fluroro-2-deoxy-D-glucose (FDG)-PET/CT on the diagnosis of cervical lymphadenopathy.Materials and Methods FDG-PET/CT was performed in 38 patients with cervical lymphadenopathy from June 2006 to October 2008. The standard uptake value (SUV) of abdominal lymph nodes (SUVmean) and SUV of normal cervical lymph nodes (SUVneck) were measured. All malignant lymph nodes were pathologically proved. Results 35 enlarged lymph nodes detected in 30 patients demonstrated higher SUV than normal neck tissue. 7 benign lymph nodes were not visualized and 4 benign ones were visualized. The accuracy of PET/CT in indicating the malignant lymph nodes was higher than that of ultrasonography, CT and MRI (P<0.001).Conclusion PET/CT is an effective tool in differentiating malignant lymph nodes from benign ones for patitents with lymphadenopathy.

Chinese Journal of Radiological Health 2023;32(2):119-124
Objective To obtain the medical exposure frequency data of residents through a questionnaire survey on mobile phone networks in the community, and to analyze the main influencing factors. Methods A snowball sampling method was used to expand the sampling from medical staff in a county hospital to the community. The questionnaire included personal information such as occupation category, type of medical insurance, and education level as well as basic radiation-related knowledge and medical exposure type and frequency of respondents received in 2021. A logistic regression model was used to analyze the influencing factors of medical exposure. Results A total of 223 respondents were investigated, and 12.56% of them received radiological diagnosis and radiotherapy in 2021. The proportion of males receiving medical exposure was significantly higher than that of females (19.64% vs 10.18%). The likelihood of the person receiving medical exposure increased considerably with age, with the proportion of residents receiving medical exposure at 20, 30, 40, and 50 years of age being 6.25%, 7.95%, 19.23%, and 33.33%, respectively. Of persons who received medical exposure, 57.14% underwent CT scans. Persons participating in the new rural cooperative medical system were likely less to receive radiological diagnosis and radiotherapy than urban workers and residents (OR = 0.55, CI:0.13-2.23, P > 0.05). Conclusion Questionnaire survey in the community can obtain more information about the medical exposure of residents, and age and type of medical insurance are important factors affecting the frequency of medical exposure.
