4.Research advances in detection and clinical significance of circulating HPV DNA in patients with cervical cancer
China Oncology 2001;0(02):-
Recently, much interest has been focused on the clinical application and biology of tumor-derived DNA in the plasma/serum of cancer patients.Such interest has resulted in the demonstration of human papillomavirus(HPV) DNA in the plasma/serum of patients with cervical cancer(CC).The studies used different materials(plasma /serum),different DNA extraction methods and different primers to detect circulating free HPV DNA,so the positive rates varied from(6.9%) to 50%.The HPV DNA in the plasma/serum of patients suffering from CC most likely originates from the tumor itself, which will probably provide us with a new tool for CC monitoring after primary treatment, especially in patients in advanced stages. It is expected that this promising molecular tumor marker would soon be put into routine clinical use.
5.Respiratory Tracts Inflammation Induced by Inhalable Particles From Different Sources
Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(02):-
Objective To study the mechanism of respiratory tracts inflammation induced by the particles with an aerodynamic diameter of less than 10 ?m (PM10) and to observe the effect of high exposed group. Methods Particles were collected at kitchen, smoking-room, roadside and lake-side (the control group). Suspension of PM10 and rat models treated with PM10, kitchen oil smoke, cigarette smoke, road dust were established with a control group. On 22th day, the counts of total leukocyte and neutrophils in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) and superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathion peroxidase (GSH-Px), malondiadehyde (MDA), Cytokin-induced neutrophil chemotactics (CINC) in lung homogenate were measured and histopathological examinations were conducted on lung tissues. Results The counts of total leukocyte, macrophage and neutrophils in PM10-treat groups and the count of eosinophilia in road dust group increased significantly than those in control group (P
6.Chemokines and lung cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(4):275-277
Chemokines are a group of small molecules that cause the directed migration of cells. In lung cancer, chemokines involve in the regulation of tumor cell growth, angiogenesis, anti-tumor immunity and remote metastasis, which provides a novel therapeutic target for lung cancer.
7.Induced pluripotent stem cell therapy:transplant rejection and safety
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(10):1619-1623
BACKGROUND:Induced pluripotent stem cels have been a hotspot in regenerative medicine research since it was discovered. The clinical application of induced pluripotent stem cels is excessively focused on, but the safety issue is almost ignored. OBJECTIVE:By summarizing the application of induced pluripotent stem cels in animal experiments to analyze the safety problems of induced pluripotent stem cels and their possible reasons in order to lay a foundation for further study and clinical application of induced pluripotent stem cels. METHODS: PubMed database was retrieved by the first author for articles related to the safety of induced pluripotent stem cels published from 2006 to 2014 using the keywords of “induced pluripotent stem cels, safety, immune, immunogenicity, tumorigenicity, cancer, epigenomic, transplantation, generation, reprogramming, genomic, mutation” in English. Related ful texts were got from Cel Press and Nature Databases. Finaly, 28 articles were chosen in result analysis. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Safety problems of induced pluripotent stem cels are attracting more and more attentions. Immunogenicity, potential tumorigenicity and epigenetic variation are major risks for the clinical applications of induced pluripotent stem cels. Safety issues of induced pluripotent stem cels mainly come from the reprogramming process. The “integrating genetic manipulation” may lead to a greater risk of tumorigenicity than non-integrating operations. Epigenetic variations emerge in the reprogramming, which are mostly relative to “epigenetic memory” of reprogrammed cels.

10.Steadily promoting the technical research and the clinical application of interventional radiology for cervical spine
Journal of Interventional Radiology 1994;0(02):-
Many interventional procedures have been practiced in the treatment of cervical spine diseases for recent years. There are percutaneous biopsy, periradicular therapy for cervical never pain, percutaneous vertebroplasty and many kinds of intervertebral disc decompression. However, because of the manipulation difficulties and high risks of these procedures the popularization of interventional techniques in treating cervical spine disorders has actually been beset with difficulties. The main risks caused by interventional operation are puncture injuries and side-effect of therapeutic design. Therefore, how to reduce the procedure’s risk is a great challenge to interventional radiologists as well as an urgent research task.
