The protecting effects of HZD, DZ and Mg~(2+) on isolated cultured rat li ver cells injured by CCl_4 was compared in this article. The results showed that HZD (15?l/ml)or DZ(10~(-4)M)or Mg~(2+)(4.8?10~(-3)M)added to the liquid culture of rat liver cells, inhibited the overloading of calcium ions and the leakage of LDH and GOT in hepatocytes effectively. The contents of Ca~(2+) ion were positively related to the leakage of enzymes.The intensity of inhibition effects to the calcium overloading and the enzyme leakage in HZD were situated between those in DZ and Mg~(2+).
2.Changes and correlation of lymphocyte subsets and serum levels of IgE in children with allergic rhinitis

Objective:To investigate the changes of lymphocyte subsets and the serum levels of IgE in the children with allergic rhinitis,and to analyze the relationship between lymphocyte subsets and IgE.Methods:CD3+,CD4+,CD8+CD19+,CD4+CD25+,CD16+56+lymphocyte subsets were measured by flow cytometry ,IFN-γ,IL-4,IL-5 of serum were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)and the serum level of total IgE was detected by immuno turbidimetric assays in 86 cases of children with allergic rhinitis and 76 cases of healthy children.Results:CD19+B lymphocyte subsets ,the ratio of CD4+and CD8+,IL-4 ,IL-5 and the serum levels of IgE were increased in the children with allergic rhinitis groups as compared with healthy children , the difference has statistical significance(P<0.05);CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,CD4+CD25+,CD16+56+lymphocyte subsets and IFN-γwere lower than the control group ( P<0.05 );there was a correlation between B lymphocyte subsets and IgE in the children with allergic rhinitis.Co nclusion:Lymphocyte dysfunction and Th1/Th2 ratio imbalance may be related to the pathogenesis of allergic rhinitis ,and IgE,IFN-γ,IL-4 and IL-5 play important roles in children with allergic rhinitis.
3.Effect of propofol on concentration of catecholamine in coronary outflow of isolated contracting rat heart after ischemiar-rperfusion injury

Objective The normothermic isolated contracting rat heart model was used to investigate the mechanism of protective effect of propofol on left ventricular function and myocardial metabolism against ischemia-reperfusion injury by determination of the catecholamme concentration in the coronary outflow. Methods forty healthy male SD rats weighing 310-450 g were randomly divided into 4 groups of each 10 animals: control group, propofol 10?mol/L (P10), 50?mol/L (P50) and 100?mol/L (P100). The animal were sacrificed by knock-out and the heart was immediately removed. The aorta was connected to a Larigendorff apparatus and retrogradely perfused with oxygenated (95% O, and 5% CO2) Krebs-Henseleit buffer (KHB) for 5 min. Then the left ventricle was perfused through a cannula inserted in pulmonary vein at a constant pressure of 12.5 cm H2O (preload). The pressure at aorta outflow was 90 cm H2O (afterload). Different concentrations of propofol in KHB were prepared. Global ischemia of the heart was induced by suspension of perfusion for 25 min followed by 30 min reperfusion. Coronary flow (CF), aortic flow (AF), cardiac output (CO = AF + CF), HR, left ventricular peak systolic pressure (LVPSP), left ventricular end-diastolic pressure (LVEDP), left ventricular developed pressure (LVDP = LVPSP-LVEDP) and the product of LVDP and HR were measured and recorded 5 min and immediately before ischemia and 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 min following reperfusion. Coronary outflow was collected for determination of creatine kinase (CK) and catecholamine ( epinephrine, norepinephrine and dopamine) concentrations.Results Before ischemia CF was significantly higher and CO, HR, LVPSP and LVDP ? HR were significantly lower in the 3 propofol groups in comparison with the controls. During reperfusion CF, CO, HR, LVPSP and LVEDP recovered much better in the propofol groups than those in control group. In group P50 LVDP ? HR reached 88.7% of the pre-ischemic value while in control group only 56.3% . The CK and catecholamine concentrations were not significantly different among the 4 groups before ischemia. Conclusion Most of the H. pylori isolates in Shanghai region may have intact cag PAI. cagE, could be taken as the marker for the presence of cag PAI. There is no correlation between the integrality of cag PAI and the clinical outcome of H. pylori of infection.

Objective To evaluate the effect of green tea polyphenol epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG)and ultraviolet B (UVB) on the expression of aquaporin 3 and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)/extracellular signal-regulated protein kinase (ERK) signaling pathway in keratinocytes.Methods Twenty healthy human subjects were enrolled in this study.Both legs of each subjects were separated into 4 areas to remain untreated (control area),be topically treated with 3% and 1% EGCG cream and the vehicle of EGCG cream respectively once a day for 2 weeks followed by the measurement of skin moisture content and transepidermal water loss (TEWL).Cultured keratinocytes were classified into various groups to be irradiated with different doses (10,20 and 30 mJ/cm2) of UVB,or be pretreated with different concentrations of EGCG (10-7,10-6,10-5 mol/L) or EGFR/ERK phosphorylation inhibitors for 1 hour followed by irradiation with UVB of 30 mJ/cm2.After various durations of additional culture,Western blot was conducted to quantify the expression of AQP3 and phosphorylated-EGFR (p-EGFR) and-ERK (p-ERK) of keratinocytes.Data were processed by SPSS 10.0 software,and statistical analysis was carried out by t test.Results Skin moisture content was significantly increased,while TEWL was decreased in healthy skin after treatment with 1% and 3% EGCG cream compared with vehicle-treated skin areas and untreated skin areas.Increased AQP3 expression was observed in keratinocytes pretreated with EGCG of 10-7,10-6,10-5 mol/L (172.36 ± 12.42,320.66 ± 15.51 and 368.10 ± 11.39 vs.100.00,t =12.16,26.75 and 38.62 respectively,all P < 0.05) and in those pretreated with the EGFR inhibitor PD153035 of 1.0 μmol/L and ERK inhibitor U0126 of 10 μmol/L (413.85 ± 25.27 and 268.85 ± 16.33 vs.100.00,t =35.16,19.25 respectively,both P < 0.05)compared with those irradiated with UVB of 30 mJ/cm2 alone.UVB irradiation stimulated the phosphorylation of EGFR/ERK in keratinocytes,and the stimulation was markedly inhibited by the pre-treatment with EGCG of 10-7,10-6 and 10-5 mol/L (all P < 0.05).Conclusions EGCG can enhance skin barrier function.AQP3 expression is down-regulated by UVB irradiation in keratinoctyes,while EGCG can inhibit the downregulation likely by suppressing the UVB-induced activation of EGFR and ERK.
8.Association between the polymorphism of A9570G in angiotensin I converting enzyme 2 gene and cardiac dysfunction and ventricular remodeling after myocardial infarction

Objective To determine the effects of polymorphism of A9570G in angiotensin I converting enzyme 2 gene ( ACE2) gene on cardiac dysfunction and ventricular remodeling after myocardial infarction. Methods 252 patients with old myccardial infarction were included in this study. They were classified according to their polymorphisms of ACE 2 gene analyzed by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP). Echocardiograms were used to determine left ventricular end diastolic diameters (LVEDd) , Left ventricular mass index (LVMI) , mitral flow pattern early diastolic and late diastolic peak flow ratio (E/A) and left ventricular ejection fraction ( LVEF). Results In male, LVEDd, LVMI, and LVEF had significant difference among ACE2 genotypes ( t = 2. 609,3.527and 2.063, P =0.010,0.001 and 0.041), and no significant differences in E/A( t =0.689,P =0.492). In female,LVEDd, LVMI, E/A and LVEF had no significant difference among ACE2 genotypes( F =0. 848, 0.077,0. 985 and 1.611, P = 0. 432,0. 926,0. 377 and 0. 205 ). Conclusion The polymorphism of A9570G in ACE2 gene may be associated with cardiac dysfunction and ventricular remodeling after myocardial infarction in male. ACE 2 gene polymorphism may be a genetic factor on cardiac dysfunction and ventricular remodeling after myocardial infarction.
9.The influence of movie-watching intervention on mental health and values of children in rural area

Objective To improve mental health of children in the rural area by intervention with moviewatching.Methods The participants were 438 students from Anhui province,including 273 students in grade 5 from two primary schools and 165 students in grade 2 from two middle schools.Subjects were randomly divided into two groups:an intervention group with movie-watching (n=188)and a control group(n=250).Results The inter-group difference between the pre-measurement and the post-measurement on depression and anxiety of the intervention groups and the control groups in grade 5 from two primary schools was not significant,while the intergroup difference between the pre-measurement and the post-measurement on value8(the intervention group (2669.52±2216.43),the control group(316.57±1410.83)),and the inter-group difference was significant(t_(values)=10.721,P=0.000).The inter-group difference between the pre-measurement and the post-depression, anxiety and values of the interntion groups and the control groups in grade 2from two middle schools was significant(t _(depression)=2.046,P=0.043;t _(state amxoetu)=3.507,P=0.001;t _(trait anxiety)=3.392,P=0.001;t _(values)=5.022,P=0.000)respectively).The intervention effect on mood of depression,anxiety and the values of intervention groups in grade 5 from two primary schools was not significant,while significant on values(F=91.62,P=0.000);while that of intervention groups in grade 2 from two =0.000 respectively).Conclusion Movie-watching intervention wag an effective way to improve middle school students' mental health and to develop correct values.Movie-watching should be an alternative way to improve met-al health of children in rural area for its operability.

Objective:To evaluate the long-term effect of augmentation rhinoplasty with silicone. Method:360 patients underwent augmentation rhinoplasty with silicone. Improved L shaped implants were used in 343patients. Result: Among 360 patients, 334 cases were successful enough (92.83 %0 ). Conclusion: The key to themaintenance of the long-term effect is to use properly improvedL-shaped implant,to choose a suitable tunnel,to prevent various complications and to ask patient's opinions for implant design.
