1.THE RESEARCH ABOUT SERUM TRACE ELEMENTS OF 7-20 YEARS-OLD POPULATION IN SHANGHAI
Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(01):-
Seventeen trace elements, including twelve essential trace element, and three normal elements in serum of 417 healthy students aged 7 to 20 in Shanghai were analysed. Except Se which was determined by catalytic pulse polarography, Zn, Cu, Fe, Mn, Cr, Mo, Si, Sn, Ni, V, Co, Cd, Pb, Al, Ti, Sr, Ca, Mg and P in serum were measured by ICP-AES. The result showed that the distribution curve of normal elements and Zn, Cu in serum was more concentrated than the other trace elements. There were significant positive correlation between serum Zn, Fe, Mn, Sr and age, and negative correlation between Cu, Cr, Se, Pb and age, respectively. The elements of males were the same as that of females in total population, but the majority of the elements in serum had sex difference in different age-groups. The serum Cr, Si, Pb contents were higher, and Cu, Fe, Mn, Sr were lower in the urban than in the rural adolescents.
2.THE ENERGY COST AND TOTAL ENERGY EXPENDITURE PER DAY OF COLLEGE STUDENTS
Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(02):-
The energy cost of the daily major activities, the basal metabolic rates (BMR), resting metabolic rates (RMR) and total energy expenditure of university students per day under normal conditions were determined respectively by Douglas' method. The average BMR of male and female subjects were 2.80?0.14 and 2.74?0.13 kJ.m-2min-1. (0.669 and 0.656 kcal?m~2?min-1) respectively. The total energy expenditure per day of male students was 11.32 MJ, and of female students 9.92 MJ per day. The energy cost of different activity can be used as the basic data in studies of energy metabolism.

International Journal of Pediatrics 2016;43(12):920-924
RAG mutations cause a spectrum of severe immunodeficiencies ranging from classical severe combined immunodeficiency( SCID) and Omenn syndrome to an increasing number of peculiar phenotypes. Based on the distinct levels of RAG expression in various patients, their immunophenotypes, histopathological findings and clinical manifestations are diverse. The subtypes of RAG-defect diseases have been described as classical SCID,SCID with maternal T cells, classical Omenn syndrome, atypical Omenn syndrome,granuloma-tous inflammation,predominance/expansion of γδ-T cells and maternal T-cell engraftment. The complete failure or partial blockage of lymphocyte development and differentiation can cause repeated infections with autoimmune reactions frequently, and may be lethal. Thorough assessment and interpretation of various phenotypes will guide accurate diagnosis, definitive treatment and the mechanism research.

To quantitatively evaluate the upper-limb spasticity of stroke patients in recovery stage, the relationship between surface electromyography (sEMG) characteristic indexes from biceps brachii and triceps brachii and the spasticity were explored, which provides the electrophysiological basis for clinical rehabilitation. Ten patients with spasticity after stroke were selected to be estimated by modified Ashworth (MAS) assessment and a passive elbow sinusoidal motion experiment was carried out. At the same time, the sEMG of biceps and triceps were recorded. The results shows that the reflex electromyographic threshold could reflect the physiological mechanism of spasticity and had significant correlation with MAS scale which showed that sEMG could be prosperous for the clinical quantitative evaluation of spasticity of stroke patients.

Journal of International Oncology 2017;44(6):472-475
Anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) rearrangement is one of the most potent carcinogenic genes in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).The first-generation ALK inhibitor such as crizotinib is superior to chemotherapy for NSCLC patients with ALK rearrangement. At the same time, more and more studies have reported ALK inhibitors in brain metastases of NSCLC patients with intracranial efficiency. However, despite the initial clinical data of first-generation ALK inhibitors in the treatment of ALK-positive NSCLC with brain metastases, different degrees of recurrence of tumors after acquired resistance have posed new challenges for follow-up treatment of cancer patients.A new generation of ALK inhibitors, such as alectinib;ceritinib,AP26113 and PF-06463922 have emerged to solve this problem.

Objective To explore the effect of minimally invasive surgery in patients with multiple fractured ribs complicated with traumatic diaphragmatic hernia. Methods Clinical data of 48 patients with multiple fractured ribs complicated with traumatic diaphragmatic hernia from January 2010 to January 2016 were retrospective analyzed. All the patients were divided into control group and observation group according to the operation method, 24 cases in each. Patients in control group were treated with thoracotomy, while patients in observation group were treated by video-assisted thoracic surgery. Results The incision length, operative time, blood loss, postoperative thoracic drainage time and hospital stay in the observation group were significantly lower than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Patients with fractured ribs of the two groups were cured after bandage fixation and the observation group were treated with no conversion to thoracotomy. Clinical efficiency of the two groups were 91.67% and 79.16% and the overall complication rate was 8.32% and 37.48% respectively, the difference is statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The video-assisted thoracic surgery in treatment of multiple fractured ribs complicated with traumatic diaphragmatic hernia has advantages of less trauma and blood loss during operation, shorter operation time, faster postoperative recovery, and better curative effect, lower incidence of complications. It can be further promoted and used in clinical.

China Oncology 2015;(1):56-62
Background and purpose:A variety of measures are taken preoperatively to reduce the tumor size of stageⅠb2 bulky cervical cancer before surgery. Which one is safer and more effective, currently, there is no consensus. This article compared the effect in 3 different treatment methods (neoadjuvant chemotherapy, neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy and operation) on patients with stageⅠb2 bulky cervical cancer, and provided evidence for clinical decision. Methods:Retrospective analysis the clinical date of 133Ⅰb2 bulky cervical cancer patients, who received preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy, neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy and direct operation from Apr. 2006 to Oct. 2010 in our hospital. Results: The effective rates of neoadjuvant chemotherapy, neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy group were 91.8% and 92.5%, respectively, there was no statistical difference(P>0.05). The tumor size got smaller after treatment compared with the size before treatment (P<0.05);The pathological efifciency rates were 95.56%and 97.30%, respectively, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). The bleeding volume of neoadjuvant chemo radio therapy group was significantly higher than those in the other 2 groups (158.9±50.7 vs 116.8±45.5, 123.1±30.2;P<0.05), the infection of immediate surgery group was more severe than the other 2 groups (P<0.05). The pairwise comparison of average operation time in neoadjuvant chemotherapy group, neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy group, and the immediate surgery group, pairwise comparisons of neoadjuvant chemotherapy group and the immediate surgery group in bleeding, comparion of neoadjuvant chemotherapy group and neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy group on postoperative infection, and the comparison of the 3 groups on pelvic organ injury and lymphocele, had no statistical difference(P>0.05);Pathological examination showed that vascular invasion in surgery group had statistical differences than other 2 groups (P<0.05), there was no patient with positive margin in the 3 groups, and the lymph node metastasis rates also had no statistical difference (P>0.05);Besides, there were no statistical difference on vascular invasion between the 3 groups (P>0.05);And on 3-year overall survival, disease-free survival there was no statistical difference between the 3 groups (P>0.05). Conclusion:Neoadjuvant chemotherapy can effectively reduce tumor size for patients with stage Ⅰb2 bulky cervical cancer before operation, it is better than direct surgery or preoperative chemoradiotherapy in improving the resection rate, and reducing postoperative pathological positive rate, and infection. Neoadjuvant chemotherapy can improve the pathological complete remission rate. The combination of radiation and chemotherapy might produce synergistic effect on huge cervical tumor, but it can’t improve the survival rate. Therefore, neoadjuvant chemotherapy is the best choice for the stageⅠb2 cervical cancer patients. Therefore, a long-term follow-up or large sample randomized controlled trials is necessary to assess the prognosis of preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy and neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy.
