OBJECTIVE: To analyze the volatile components in the Eriobotrya japonica by headspace solid-phase microextraction-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(SPME-GC-MS) and to optimize the operating conditions for SPME.METHODS: DB-5 MS elastic silica capillary column(30.0 m?250 ?m?0.25 ?m) was used as the chromatographic column with helium of high purity(99.999%) as carrier gas at a flow rate of 1.0 mL?min-1.The injector temperature was 250 ℃;MS condition: ionization mode was EI with electron energy of 70 eV and the mass scan range of 30~440 amu.RESULTS: After headspace absorption for 30 min at 80 ℃ using 65 ?m polydimethylsiloxane-divinyl-benzene extraction head followed by desorption for 1 min at 250 ℃,the E.japonica sample was separated and identified by GC-MS analysis.A total of 34 peaks were obtained and 29 components were identified which accounted for 97.42% of the total peak area, topping the list were benzaldehyde and 4-methoxybenzaldehyde.CONCLUSION: HS-SPME-GC-MS can be used for the rapid analysis of the volatile components in E.japonica.

Journal of International Oncology 2013;40(12):902-904
Silent information regulator 1 (SIRT1) is a kind of histone deacetylase which dependents on nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide. It is involved in the occurrence and development of tumors.Data show that SIRT1 is highly expressed in many tumors, such as gastric cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer and so on.On the other hand, the expression of SIRT1 is lower in many other types of tumors, including glioblastomas, bladder cancer, ovarian cancer and so on.Therefore, the role of SIRT1 in tumor formation process is still uncertain and controversial.

Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of zinc finger gene 217 (ZNF217) in human papillary thyroid carcinoma. Methods The expressions of ZNF217 mRNA and protein were detected by quantitative realtime PCR and Western blot in papillary thyroid carcinoma tissues (n =20) and adjacent normal tissues (n =20),and the data were analyzed. Results The expressions of ZNF217 mRNA and protein in papillary thyroid carcinoma were significantly higher than those in adjacent normal tissues (96.72 ± 44.19 vs 4.86 ±3.55,0.994 ± 0.172 vs 0.195 ± 0.061,both P<0.01),being higher in the papillary thyroid carcinoma with capsule invasion compared with that without capsule invasion (P<0.01).The expressions of ZNF217 mRNA and protein in papillary thyroid carcinoma were not related to gender, age, tumor size,TNM stage or lymph node metastasis (all P>0.05).Conclusions The overexpression of ZNF217 may be associated with the oncogenesis and progress of papillary thyroid carcinoma and capsule invasion, and thus is expected to become a new target for prevention and treatment of papillary thyroid carcinoma.

To establish a scientific and feasible evaluation index system and to assess medical research programs subsidized by the Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau in 2002-2006, so as to provide reference to aid the management department in decision-making and better guidance of research projects. Delphi expert consultation was employed to construct an evaluation index system, and used the system to comprehensively assess the funded projects. In the end, we found that the funding of the Shanghai Health Bureau had certain promoting effect in optimization of research team, startup of scientific research, training of research personnel, and the development of disciplines.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2007;13(2):122-124
ObjectiveTo explore the effect of different properties and hemisphere of stroke on trunk control ability and the relationships between the trunk control and cognition, activities of daily living (ADL).Methods75 inpatient stroke patients were divided into the group A (right hemorrhages, n=15), group B (right infarcts, n=25), group C (left hemorrhages, n=14) and group D (left infarcts, n=21). All cases in four groups were assessed by Mini-Mental Status Examination (MMSE), Sheikh Trunk Control Evaluation and Modified Brathel Index (MBI) before and after rehabilitation therapy.ResultsThe scores of Sheikh and MBI of the group A and group C were significantly lower than that of the group B and group D before treatment ( P<0.05~0.001). After treatment, the scores of MMSE, Sheikh Trunk Control Evaluation and MBI of the patients in four groups all increased, but the scores of the patients in the group A and group C increased more than other groups. There was no significant difference in Sheikh scores between right and left hemisphere stroke. All groups had high relationship between Sheikh Trunk Control Evaluation and MBI before and after treatment. There was no relationship between Sheikh Trunk Control Evaluation and MMSE before treatment, but having part relationship after treatment.ConclusionThe trunk control of hemorrhage patients are damaged more severe than that of the infarct cases, but they resume also faster. There are no different between right and left hemisphere stroke in trunk control impairment. The ability of trunk control has high relationship with ADL before and after treatment, it has no relationship with cognize before treatment but has relationship after treatment.

Objective To investigate the role of titanium plate fixation for sternum closure after off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (OPCABG) in elderly patients. Methods A total of 120 elderly patients who accepted OPCABG were randomly divided into two groups. The control group (n =60) received wire to fix the sternum, and the experimental group (n=60) received titanium plate combined with wire to fix the sternum. The chest closure time, the rate of postoperative incision pain, the rate of sternal dehiscence and sternal re-fixation between two groups were observed and recorded. Results The rates of postoperative incision pain, sternal dehiscence, sternal re-fixation was lower in experimental group than in control group [11.7%(7/60) vs.38.3%(23/60),3.3%(7/60) vs.13.3%(8/60),1.7%(1/60) vs.11.7%(7/60),x2 =11.378,3.927,4.821 respectively all P<0.05].The chest closure time was longer in experimental group than in control group [(39±5)min vs.(30±2) min,x2 =13.386,P<0.05].Conclusions Titanium fixation plate combined with wire for sternum closure can increase the stability of sternum fixation, reduce the postoperative pain and sternal dehiscence, and then decrease the risk of sternal re-fixation,but delay sternal closure of OPCABG in the elderly.

Objective To explore the effect of pleural cavity integrity on respiratory system after off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (OPCABG),through comparing the respiratory complication after OPCABG.Methods One hundred and two patients were accepted OPCABG,among whom 49 patients' pleural cavities were opened (open group) and 53 patients' pleural cavities were closed (close group). The ventilation time, intensive care unit time, pleural effusion, the rate of atelectasis and respiratory failure after operation were compared between two groups. Results The ventilation time and intensive care unit time in open group were (40.3 ± 4.8) h and (78.3 ± 10.8) h,in open group were (28.6 ± 6.8) h and (54.8 ± 6.1) h.The ventilation time and intensive care time in open group were significantly longer than those in close group(P < 0.01 or < 0.05).The pleural effusion in open group was (800.0 ± 60.5) ml,in close group was (350.0 ± 28.6) ml.The pleural effusion in open group was significantly higher than that in close group (P < 0.01).The rate of postoperative atelectasis and respiratory failure in open group were 36.7%(18/49) and 38.8%(19/49),in close group were 15.1%(8/53) and 18.9%(10/53).The rate of postoperative atelectasis and respiratory failure in open group were significantly higher than those in close group (P < 0.01).Conclusions OPCABG is the operation in mediastinum. To avoid pleural cavity opened in OPCABG can reduce the incidence of postoperative respiratory complication.
