Objective: To analyze the association of eating dining locations and their association with nutritional status among Chinese children aged 6-17 years,so as to provide reference for guiding children s reasonable diet. Methods: Stratified random cluster sampling was used to select children aged 6 to 17 years from 28 cities and rural areas of 14 provinces in East, North, Central, South, Southwest, Northwest, Northeast of China, and a total of 52 535 children were included in the study from 2019 to 2021. Information including dining locations, demographic characteristics, dietary intakes and physical activity were collected through a questionnaire survey. Fasting body height and weight were measured in the morning. Unordered multiclass Logistic regression analysis was conducted to assess the relationship between dining locations and nutritional status in children. Results: Regarding children s dining locations, 66.3% ate breakfast at home,25.8% ate breakfast at school,7.9% ate breakfast outside (small dining tables, restaurants, stalls, etc.); 67.7% ate dinner at home,29.0% ate dinner at school,3.3% ate dinner outside; and 63.6% ate lunch at school,30.8% ate lunch at home,5.7% ate lunch outside. The prevalence rates of overweight/obesity and undernutrition were 28.6% and 9.3%, respectively. The adjusted multiclass Logistic regression analysis (controlling for age, region, parental education, household income, total energy intake, and moderate-to-vigorous physical activity) demonstrated that, compared to eating at home, school based breakfast and dinner consumption was associated with significantly lower overweight/obesity risks for both genders (boys: breakfast OR =0.70, 95% CI =0.65-0.75; dinner OR =0.80, 95% CI = 0.74- 0.86; girls: breakfast OR = 0.89 , 95% CI = 0.82-0.96; dinner OR =0.88, 95% CI =0.81-0.95), whereas eating lunch away from home significantly increased overweight/obesity risks (boys: OR =1.32, 95% CI =1.17-1.48; girls: OR =1.43, 95% CI =1.26- 1.62 ), with all associations being statistically significant ( P <0.05). After adjusting for confounding factors, boys who ate breakfast away from home showed a significantly reduced risk of undernutrition ( OR =0.80,95% CI =0.66-0.97), while those consuming lunch away from home had an increased risk ( OR =1.26, 95% CI =1.01-1.57) ( P <0.05). Conclusions The choice of dining locations for children is becoming more diverse, and a relatively high proportion of children eat meals outside the home and at school. Eating out have a higher risk of malnutrition for children. School feeding may be beneficial to children s physical health.

The classical prescription Yangweitang， derived from Zhengzhi Zhunsheng， is specialized in treating syndromes of chill and fever due to exogenous pathogens， inner-cooling， and malaria， and it has been included in the Catalogue of Ancient Classical Formulas （the First Batch） published by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine （TCM） in 2018. Through bibliographical research， the relevant ancient books and modern documents were systematically sorted out， and it was found that there were many prescriptions related to the Yangweitang from Zhengzhi Zhunsheng. They were interwoven with Yangweitang from Zhengzhi Zhunsheng and widely used in clinical practice. In order to clarify their history and evolution， this paper combed the historical origin of Yangweitang and its related prescriptions and conducted textual analysis on key information such as semantic composition， herb origin， processing method， and efficacy. A total of 896 pieces of data on Yangweitang from Zhengzhi Zhunsheng were collected. 26 pieces of effective data were included after the screening， involving 17 ancient TCM books. Then， a total of 28 pieces of data on prescriptions related to the Yangweitang from Zhengzhi Zhunsheng were included， involving 23 ancient TCM books for reference. The textual analysis showed that Yangweitang originated from the Renshen Yangweitang recorded in Taiping Huimin Heji Jufang in the Song dynasty. Based on the original formula， medical experts from later generations have modified it into many different versions. A comparative analysis showed that Yangweitang from different generations had similar compositions， and the herb origin and processing method were basically clear. The recommended prescriptions are as follows： 37.3 g of Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum Cum Alumine， Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex（fried with ginger juice）， and frying with rice water Atractlodis Rhizoma， 27.98 g of Citri Exocarpium Rubrum， 18.65 g of Pogostemon cablin leaf， Tsaoko Fructus， Poria， and Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma， and 9.33 g of Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma. They could be ground into a coarse powder， with 14.92 g for every dose， and they could be orally taken after being decocted with 450 mL of water， 7 g of fresh ginger， and 2 g of Mume Fructus to 270 mL in warm conditions. Yangweitang from Zhengzhi Zhunsheng has the effect of warming the middle and releasing the external， and it can treat many syndromes including spleen and stomach disharmony caused by chill and fever due to exogenous pathogens and inner-cooling， as well as all kinds of malaria. Modern clinical applications mainly focus on chronic atrophic gastritis and other digestive system diseases.

Objective The aim of this study was to explore the role and mechanism of ferroptosis in SiO2-induced cardiac injury using a mouse model. Methods Male C57BL/6 mice were intratracheally instilled with SiO2 to create a silicosis model.Ferrostatin-1(Fer-1)and deferoxamine(DFO)were used to suppress ferroptosis.Serum biomarkers,oxidative stress markers,histopathology,iron content,and the expression of ferroptosis-related proteins were assessed. Results SiO2 altered serum cardiac injury biomarkers,oxidative stress,iron accumulation,and ferroptosis markers in myocardial tissue.Fer-1 and DFO reduced lipid peroxidation and iron overload,and alleviated SiO2-induced mitochondrial damage and myocardial injury.SiO2 inhibited Nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2)and its downstream antioxidant genes,while Fer-1 more potently reactivated Nrf2 compared to DFO. Conclusion Iron overload-induced ferroptosis contributes to SiO2-induced cardiac injury.Targeting ferroptosis by reducing iron accumulation or inhibiting lipid peroxidation protects against SiO2 cardiotoxicity,potentially via modulation of the Nrf2 pathway.

Objective: To study the predictive value of general movements(GMs) quality assessment technique(writhing movements)on the motor development outcome of high-risk infants, so as to provide a reference basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods: A retrospective analysis was made on the high-risk infants who were hospitalized in the Neonatal Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2018, and the GMs quality assessment was finished and followed up to 12-month-old among high-risk infants.The clinical diagnostic criteria for patients with cerebral palsy and Peabody Development Motor Scales-2(PDMS-2)were used to evaluate the motor development outcome of 12-month-old high-risk infants.Furthermore, the predictive value of GMs writhing movements on the motor development outcome of high-risk infants were evaluated. Results: The predictive validity of writhing movements phase[cramped synchronized(CS)+ poor repertoire(PR)]for motor retardation and cerebral palsy in high-risk infants who met the inclusion criteria were as follows: the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value were 94.44%, 23.03%, 11.04%, 97.62% and 100%, 21.88%, 2.60%, 100%, respectively.The predictive sensitivity and negative predictive value of writhing movements PR for motor retardation and cerebral palsy were 92.31%, 100%; 98.18%, 100% respectively.The predictive sensitivity, specificity and negative predictive value of writhing movements CS for motor retardation and cerebral palsy were 100%, 95.81%, 100% and 100%, 95.31% and 100%, respectively. Conclusion GMs quality assessment(writhing movements)has high reliability in predicting the motor development outcome of high-risk infants, especially cramped-synchronized has significant value in early screening of children with motor retardation and cerebral palsy.

Objective To explore the influence factors of recurrence after a first unprovoked seizure in adults within 1 year. Methods One hundred fifty-nine adult patients with first unprovoked seizure were recruited in the study. Patients were then divided into the relapse group (n=54) and the relapse group (n=105). Statistic analysis was performed on the clinical data including gender, age, history of traumatic brain injury, electroencephalogram (EEG) and brain imaging, the form of attack time, seizures, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, coronary heart disease, hyperlipidemia disease. Results Multiariable Logistic regression analysis found that history of brain injury (P=0.033, OR=5.547), period (P=0.001, OR=33.660) in the evening, cortical lesions (P=0.004, OR=14.865) were independent risk factors for recurrence. Conclusions Adult patients with first unprovoked seizure have a high risk of one-year recurrence if the patients have a history of traumatic brain injury, the radiographic abnormalities, cortical lesions and sleep attacks.

Objective:Recent studies have shown that in contrast to decrease in distal gastric adenocarcinoma (DGA), incidence of adenocarcinoma of the esophagogastric junction (AEG) has increased noticeably in numerous counties. However, the reasons remain unclear. This study evaluated the possible differences in the expression of KLF4, SP1, and Cyclin D1 in AEG and DGA, and explored the potential carcinogenesis of AEG. Methods:Immunohistochemistry was performed on paraffin-embedded tissues to evaluate the pu-tative differences in the expressions of KLF4, SP1, and Cyclin D1 at protein level between AEG (n=58) and DGA (n=47). The patholog-ical significance of these markers between the two groups was also compared and analyzed. Results:The percentage of positive KLF4 expression was significantly lower in DGA than in AEG (P<0.05). Lower KLF4 expression was found both in well-or moderately dif-ferentiated cases and in poorly differentiated cases with DGA compared with their AEG counterparts (P<0.05). However, positive stain-ing for SP1 was significantly higher in DGA (P<0.05). No significant difference was found in the expression of Cyclin D1 between the two groups. Further analysis showed that in DGA, the positive expression of KLF4, SP1, and Cyclin D1 were significantly correlated with lymph node metastasis. In AEG, only Cyclin D1 expression was correlated with lymph node metastasis (P<0.05). No correlation was found among the expression of KLF4, SP1, and Cyclin D1 in AEG. In DGA, KLF4 was inversely correlated with SP1 and Cyclin D1 (r=-0.334 and r=-0.341, respectively, P<0.05), and SP1 was positively correlated with Cyclin D1 expression (r=0.340, P<0.05).Conclusion:Different expression patterns and clinicopathological significance of KLF4, SP1, and Cyclin D1 were observed between AEG and DGA, suggesting the putative difference in the carcinogenesis and progression of AEG and DGA.

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of external application of sihuang-honey for aseptic inflammation after total knee arthroplasty.Methods 30 cases of total knee arthroplasty patients were recruited into two groups,of 15 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with sihuang-honey (made of rhubarb,scutellaria,phellodendron,coptis according to the same proportion of powder with honey ),which was placed on a sterile plastic sheet,0.5 cm thickness.The sheet was applied on the knee of the highest skin temperature for 6 hours,removed it for 2 hours interval,and reapplied on it,for altogether 24 hours before changing another sheet.The control group were treated by continued covering ice on the knee every day,with the ice completely surrounded the knee.Both groups were treated for 2 weeks.Clinical efficacy was observed before the treatment,and 3 d,7 d,14 d after the treatment.ResultsAfter the treatment,compared with the control group,the treatment group was effective in terms of VAS score (4.12± 1.08) points in 3d,(3.34±0.61)points in the first 7 days; skin temperature (37.56±0.40) ℃,activity (98.56±3.24) ° in 3d,and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).The degree of swelling in 3 d (5.80±2.00) ％,7 d (9.33±2.55)％,14 d (12.13 ± 2.70)％ in the treatment group were better than the control group (P＜0.05); The rate of pain relief of treatment group was 93.33％ and satisfaction was 66.67％,although better than 86.67％ and 46.67％ of the control group,the difference was not statistically significant (x2 were 1.33,3.04,P＞0.05).Conclusion Sihuang-honey was effective for the treatment of aseptic inflammation after the surgery of total knee arthroplasty.

A full-length cDNA sequence encoding for the precursor of a venom peptide (named BmKCT) with homology to chlorotoxin has been isolated from a cDNA library made from the venom glands of the Chinese Scorpion Buthus martensii Karsch. The sequence of BmKCT is similar (68 % identities) to that of chlorotoxin isolated from Leiurus quinquestriatus quinquestriatus. To understand the biological function of BmKCT, this peptide was expressed using pGEX expression system and purified using GST affinity column and gel filtration.Whole cell patch-clamping recording showed that BmKCT could significantly inhibit chloride currents of gliomas cells, and the inhibitory effect was reversible. These results suggested that BmKCT might belong to the class of short chain toxins blocking the chloride ion channels.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effects of BmkTXK(beta), a newly purified 'long chain' peptide inhibitor of K(+) channels from the Chinese scorpion Buthus martensi Karsch (BmK), on the electrophysiological properties of isolated rabbit atrial myocytes.

METHODSThe standard whole-cell patch-clamp technique was used to study the effects of multiple concentrations of BmkTXK(beta) on potassium currents and action potentials.

RESULTSBmkTXK(beta) produced concentration-dependent prolongation of action potential duration at 20%, 50%, and 90% repolarization (APD(20,50,90)) without any use-dependence. Meanwhile, it had no significant effect on RMP, APA, or V(max) (n = 9). At a dose of 1 micro mol/L, BmkTXK(beta) decreased I(to) by 41.4% (n = 10, P < 0.01) at a membrane potential of +50 mV [from (13.63 +/- 0.87) pA/pF to (7.98 +/- 0.78) pA/pF]. I(to) was reduced significantly with an IC(50) value of 1.82 micromol/L (95% confidence interval: 1.47 - 2.17 micro mol/L), in a clear concentration-dependent manner. BmkTXK(beta) blocked I(Ks) and I(Ks),tail with an IC(50) of 20.15 micromol/L and a 95% confidence interval of 16.93 - 23.37 micromol/L. At a concentration of 10 micromol/L, BmkTXK(beta) blocked both I(Ks) (mean reduction 37.3% +/- 4.2%, P < 0.01, n = 7) and I(Ks), tail (mean reduction 35.8% +/- 4.1%, P < 0.01, n = 7). At 0 mV, 10 micromol/L BmkTXK(beta) inhibited both I(Kr) (mean reduction 40.5% +/- 2.6%, P < 0.01, n = 6) and I(Kr), tail (mean reduction 42.3% +/- 2.9%, P < 0.01, n = 6). Blocking of I(Kr) by BmkTXK(beta) occurred in a concentration-dependent manner, with an IC(50) of 17.21 micromol/L (95% confidence interval: 14.76-19.66 micromol/L). An absence of effects on I(K1) was observed for BmkTXK(beta), with no change in reversal-potential (n = 6, P > 0.05).

CONCLUSIONSBmkTXK(beta) exerts direct blocking effects on several potassium channels involved in cardiac repolarization, and has a strong effect on prolonging the repolarization of rabbit cardiomyocytes without reverse frequency dependence. This finding suggests that BmkTXK(beta) could be a promising class III drug for anti-arrhythmic therapy without the risk of proarrhythmia.

Objective: To evaluate reliability and validity of ATQ. Methods: A total of 350 undergraduates and 102 Psychiatric patients were tested by ATQ and BDI. Results:The ATQ attained good psychometric properties: Cronbach α of ATQ was 0.95, spit-half correlations ranged from 0.90 to 0.94; correlation coefficient between ATQ and BDI was 0.54 for normal undergraduates, 0.60 for schizophrenics, and 0.75 for depressive subjects (p<0.001). There were significant difference among non-depressed undergraduates、depressed undergraduates、schizophrenics and depressive patients. Conclusion: The present study provided empirical support for the reliability and validity of ATQ.
