This study aimed at explaining the TCM medication principles of breast cancer collected in CNKI by traditional Chinese medicine inheritance system (V2.0).TCM literatures over the treatments of breast cancer were collected and selected from CNKI.On this basis,a prescription database was built, and frequencies, medicine pattern and the rules of the prescriptions were analyzed using the data mining method of software integration to output new prescriptions according to the core medication group. As a result, one hundred and ninety-four TCM prescriptions for the treatment of breast cancer were screened out, involving 265 Chinese medicines, among which tonic medicines were used most frequently. Then, the commonly used medicines and rules were analyzed to achieve 4 new prescriptions. In conclusion, syndrome differentiation and treatment was primary in the TCM treatment of breast cancer, taking strenthening the body resistance as the main treatment with the adjuvent treatments of clearing away heat and toxic materials, promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis and reducing phlegm and resolving masses to eliminate the cause, embodying the principle of integration with disease and syndrome in the treatment of breast cancer.
2.Targeted therapy for small cell lung cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2015;(6):452-454
Targeted agents for small cell lung cancer (SCLC)include inhibitors of angiogenesis,tyro-sine kinase inhibitors and signal transduction pathway inhibitors.Bevacizumab,a class of antiangiogenic agent, tends to have no effects on patients. The tyrosine kinase inhibitor, for example sunitinib, may be used as a monotherapy.Signaling inhibitors including Amuvatinib and LDE225 are undergoing phaseⅠand Ⅱ trials.Pri-mary data show that SCLC is not sensitive to targeted therapy, needing more selection,so further studies are requested.

To investigate the clinical characteristics of patients with post traumatic acute renal failure (ARF)effect of early renal replacement therapy on their propnosis, a case control study was carried out in 71 cases of post traumatic ARF and 40 cases of post operative ARF. The effect of early renal replacement therapy on prognosis was evaluated. The incidence of post traumatic ARF in traumatic patients was 1 06%, and 16 21% in ARF. Rhabomyolysis and hypovolemia were the most common causes of ARF. Respiratory failure and coma were the predisposing factors of ARF. The incidence of multiple organ failure was 85 9% and the mortality was 70 4%. Early renal replacement therapy might improve the prognosis. The mortality of patients with Post traumatic ARF remains high, renal replacement therapy should be given as early as possible.

Objective To evaluate the clinical characteristics and prognostic factors in patients with acute renal failure (ARF) due to sepsis. Methods A case-control retrospective study was carried out in patients with acute renal failure due to sepsis and non-sepsis. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to find the correlation among prognosis, clinico-biochemical parameters and scoring indexes of APACHE II and ATN-ISI. Results The incidence of septic ARF was 15. 6% in all ARF patients. Multiple organ failure was most common (87.9% ) in these patients with a high mortality (69. 7% ). Single-variable analysis showed that surgery, respiratory failure, hepatic failure, mechanical ventilation, oliguria, coma, multiple organ failure, ARF occurred during ICU stay and chronic health points were factors influencing prognosis. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that oliguria, ARF occurred during ICU stay, chronic health points, and multiple organ failure were the independent predictors of hospital mortality. Conclusion Outcome of septic ARF is correlated with factors including oliguria, ARF occurred during ICU stay, chronic health points and multiple organ failure.

It elaborates the importance of designing a patient-centered hospital environment, and presents the concept of such a design. The authors hold that such a concept is mostly composed of systematic, people-oriented, informationized and variability designs, and describe the design trends in contemporary hospitals. It is also pointed out that patient-centered principle should be dominant in building a contemporary hospital, as the guideline and development trend, as a satisfactory hospital environment makes a hospital more competitive.

Objective To investigate the effects of gene transfection with human growth/differentiation factor 5(hGDF5)on the differentiation and proliferation of rabbit bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs).Methods BMSCs were obtained from adult New zealand rabbits and purified by gradient centrifuge.Exogenous recombinant human GDF5 was transfected into BMSCs with liposome method. Then hGDF5 expression at mRNA and protein level was measured separately by reverse transcription-polymerase reaction and indirect immunofluorescence method.Activity of alkaline phosphates(ALP),expression of TypeⅡcollagen(ColⅡ),proteoglycan and growth of the cells were all measured by biological methods to evaluate the effects of hGDF5 gene transfer on the differentiation and proliferation of rabbit BMSCs.Results After hGDF5 gene transfection,BMSCs expressed hGDF5 mRNA and protein, and compared with the control groups, expression of proteoglycan and ColⅡ increased significantly, but no significant difference appeared in ALP activity and cell proliferation. Conclusion Gene transfer with hGDF5 is an effective way to enhance the expression of GDF5 at mRNA and protein. The expression of heterogenetic hGDF5 gene can induce BMSCs' differentiation to chondrogenic cells. But the gene transfection has no obvious effects on the proliferation and ALP activity of BMSCs.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(44):7194-7198
BACKGROUND:After the initial hip replacement, aseptic or infective loosening and subsidence of the prosthesis, acetabular wear, pain, osteolysis and other factors may lead to the loss of prosthesis stability and loss of joint function, which are the common cause of hip arthroplasty. Among the hip arthroplasty, acetabular lateral reconstruction is essential and largely determines the success or failure of revision surgery.
OBJECTIVE:To explore the present situation of reconstructing acetabulum after total hip arthroplasty.
METHODS:A computer-based online search of PubMed database (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/PubMed) between January 1998 and March 2014, and CNKI database (http://www.cnki.net/) from January 2003 to March 2014 was undertaken for the articles about reconstructing acetabulum after total hip arthroplasty. The key words were“artificial joint, reconstruction, acetabular lateral reconstruction, current situation”in Chinese and“reconstructed acetabulum, total hip arthroplasty”in English. Article about hip reconstruction, acetabyular reconstruction, bone defect reconstruction, prosthesis choice and reconstruction, and soft tissue balance were also selected. Repetitive researches were excluded.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:According to inclusion criteria, 26 articles were involved in this study. A perfect acetabular revision should achieve the fol owing goals:stabilize acetabular prosthesis after acetabular revision;recover hip rotation center and biomechanical properties;repair acetabular bone defects and increase hip bone. Adequate preparation before surgery is an important prerequisite for the success of surgery and good results, aseptic and septic loosening or subsidence of the prosthesis, as wel as acetabular wear and tear are common causes of hip revision. Intraoperative reconstruction of acetabular anteversion and camber angles, acetabular rotation center reconstruction, reconstruction of acetabular bone defects, selection of reconstruction of acetabular prosthesis, and reconstruction of soft tissue balance are the core technologies of reconstructing acetabulum after total hip arthroplasty.

Objective To study the effect of Dachengqi decoction on expression of triggering receptor on myeloid cell 1(TREM-1)in septic rats in order to further provide a theoretical basis concerning the mechanism of this decoction for treatment of sepsis. Methods 100 male Sprague-Dawley(SD)rats were randomly divided into five groups:normal control, sham operation, sepsis model,low-dose and high-dose Dachengqi decoction groups (each,n=20). The sepsis models were reproduced by cecal ligated perforation(CLP). The low-dose and high-dose Dachengqi decoction groups were lavaged separately by low dose(5 mL/kg)and normal dose(10 mL/kg)Dachengqi decoction at 2 hours before CLP and after CLP twice per day(interval 8 hours),and the other three groups were lavaged with 10 mL/kg normal saline. Five rats in each group were killed randomly at the time points of 6,12,24,48 hours after CLP;the abdominal aorta blood and the liver tissue were collected. The plasma levels of TREM-1,interleukin-6 (IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)were tested by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). The expression level of TREM-1 mRNA in the liver was measured by reverse transcription - polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Results Compared with normal control group and sham operation group, the plasma levels of TREM-1, IL-6, TNF-α and the expression of liver TREM-1 mRNA were increased significantly in model group. Compared with model group, the above indexes in low-dose and high-dose Dachengqi decoction groups were reduced obviously, the changes being more marked in the high-dose group;the levels of TREM-1,IL-6 at 6 hours after operation and the levels of TNF-αand TREM-1 mRNA at 24 hours after operation in high-dose group were lower than those of low-dose group〔6 hours TREM-1(ng/L):179.19±4.43 vs. 213.86±2.84,6 hours IL-6 (ng/L):136.80±7.70 vs. 162.90±3.87;24 hours TNF-α(ng/L):71.61±5.07 vs. 108.53±6.29,24 hours TREM-1 mRNA:24.33±3.16 vs. 27.22±3.34,all P<0.05〕. Conclusion The partial mechanism of the efficacy of Dachengqi decoction for treatment of sepsis was probably related to the inhibition of TREM-1 expression.

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(12):-
The red cell deformability (RCD) has been taken as a diagnostic aid in recent years. The dilute red cell suspension passes through the silicon microch annels under constant suction pressure. Such three parameters of RCD are measure d as IF (filtration index), and The results show that the above-mentioned parameters can reflect the changes of cell rheological characteristics from dif ferent aspects. With the observation of the flow passage, the rehological charac teristics can be evaluated accurately and comprehensively.
