Objective To research the clinical value of serum thyroid peroxidase (TPOAb) in screening thyroid dysfunction in pregnancy.Methods The concentration of serum TPOAb and TSH(thyroid-stimulating hormone) was detected by MEIA and CMIA in 75 cases of pregnant women with thyroid disfunction,and 145 cases of pregnant women without tyhroid dysfunction (as control group).Results There were significant differences in both TSH and TPOAb levels between pregnant women with and without thyroid dysfunction(P0.05). So the normal serum TSH could not completely exclude the thyroid dysfunction in pregnant women.Conclusion TPOAb can be used as a prenatal screening marker for early diagnosis of thyroid dysfunction in pregnancy. From the diagnostic point, TSH can not completely substitute for TPOAb and the abnormal TPOAb can indicate the possibility and risk for autoimmune thyroid disease in pregnant women.

Objective To assess the left ventricular(LV)segmental function by velocity vector imaging(VVI)in uremic patients with diffferent quantity of parathyroid hormone(PTH).Methods Sixty patients with uremia were divided into 2 groups according to the value of PTH:group A with PTH less than 3 times of upper normal limit,group B with PTH more than 3 times of upper normal limit.Normal control group was 30 healthy subj ects.All people were evaluated by VVI.The parameters,including the longitudinal systolic strain rate(SSR),diastolic strain rate(DSR),were analysed among the three groups.Results Compared with normal group,in group A and B,SSR,DSR in all segments were lower.Compared with group A,in group B,DSR were all significantly lower(P＜0.05),SSR in apex of laternal wall,medium of anterior septum wall,posterior wall,medium and apex of posterior septum wall and superior wall,base,medium and apex of anterior wall were significantly lower(P＜0.05).There was no statistically significant difference of left ventricular ejection fraction between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusions VVI is a viable objective tool to quantitatively assess LV segmental function damaged by different quantity of PTH.

Objective To evaluate the immunotoxicity effect of Liver targeting interferon (IFN -CSP) on mice.Methods Mice were randomly divided into five groups:low, middle and high dose of IFN-CSP, solvent control group(saline) and Positive control group (cyclophosphamide).They were injected subcutaneously for 2 weeks.Delayed hypersensitivity test was used to determine the cell immunefunction and plaque forming cell assay was used to determine the humoral immune function.Results There was no significant difference of the the index of immune organ and the ear swelling degree between IFN-CSP groups and control group.There was also no significant difference on hemolytic plaque test between them.Conclusion IFN-CSP has no significant effect on both cellular immunity function and humoral immune function of mice, this results will provides the basis for further safety evaluation.

ABSTRACT:In this study ,we elucidated the predictors of progression to liver failure during severe acute exacerbation .We analyzed 69 consecutive patients with severe acute exacerbation of chronic hepatitis B for clinical outcome and factors that influ‐enced the development of liver failure ,including viral genotype ,PC (G1896A) and BCP (A1762T/G1764A) mutants .Thirty‐three (47 .8% ) severe acute exacerbation patients progressed to liver failure .Multivariate analysis identified serum bilirubin (TB>256 μmol/dL ,P=0 .008) and prothrombin activity (PTA<40% ,P<0 .001) as significant determinants of progression to liver failure .HBeAg negativity (P=0 .065) and PC mutant (P=0 .090) were associated with the progression to hepatic de‐compensation .Serum total bilirubin ,prothrombin activities ,HBeAg status and PC mutant were predictors of clinical outcome in patients with severe acute exacerbation of chronic hepatitis B .

Objective To build a core competence evaluation index system for new nurses which was scientific and comprehensive. Methods 23 nursing experts was consulted by a two-round Delphi method, and finally determined the index system and the weight of each index. Results The core competence evaluation index system for new nurses consisted of 6 first-level indicator, 20 second-level indicator, 66 third-level indicator. The coefficient and authoritative coefficient were 0.370, 0.84. Conclusions The formation of the core competence evaluation index system for new nurses is scientific and reliable, which can provide objected and quantitative standards for assessment, training and evaluation of new nurses.

We applied a new teaching mode,combining problem-based learning (PBL) with extended teaching in clinical internship and case discussion,in order to adapt to the new situation in infectious diseases.The teaching efficacy was evaluated by questionnaire and classroom effect.The results showed that the new mode cultivated the students' self-learning ability and broadened their professional perspective.

The virus and the host factors can be used as targets of hcv entry inhibitors many studies have shown that as novel and promising compounds, HCV entry inhibitors combinating with other drugs can be more effective in the treatment of HCV, this paper have re- viewed targets and inhibitors of HCV enterring into host cell since 1990s.

Objective To investigate the pharmacodynamics of different local anesthetics administered intrathecally for elderly patients undergoing transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP). Methods Ninety ASA Ⅰ - Ⅲ elderly patients, aged 69-82 yr, with body mass index less than 30 kg/m2 , undergoing TURP under combined spinal-epidural anesthesia, were randomly divided into 3 groups ( n = 30 each): levobupivacaine group (group L), ropivacaine group (group R) and bupivacaine group (group B). Group L, R and B received intrathecai (IT) 0.5 % levobupivacaine, 0.5 % ropivacaine and 0.5 % bupivacaine respectively. The initial dose was 7,10 and 6 mg in group L, R and B respectively. The ratio of two successive doses was 0.9. If the upper sensory block reached T10 within the 20 min after IT injection, the IT analgesia was considered to be effective. The median effective dose (EDs0) and 95 % confidence interval (95 % CI) were calculated by Dixon. Results The ED50 and 95% CI of levobupivacaine, ropivacaine and bupivacaine were 6.781 (95% CI 6.561-7.024) mg, 9.135 (95%CI8.670-9.616) mg and 5.170 (95% CI 5.012-5.333) ng respectively. The relative potency ratio between levobupivacaine, ropivacaine and bupivacaine is 0.76∶0.57∶1.00. ConclusionThe relative potency ratio be tween levobupivacaine, ropivacaine and bupivacaine is 0.76∶0.57∶1.00.

AIM: To investigate the relationship between the intracellular expression of Th1 and Th2 type cytokines in placental lymphocytes and the pregnancy outcomes in NOD/SCID mice. METHODS: The resorption rate of embryos (RR) was compared between BALB/c and NOD/SCID mice. In addition, the expression rates of Th1 type (TNF-? and IL-2) and Th2 type (IL-10) cytokines were detected intracellularlly in placental lymphocytes by four-color flow cytometry. RESULTS: Although multiple-immunodeficiency was confirmed in the NOD/SCID, no significant difference was observed in RR between BALB/c and NOD/SCID mice. At the same time, a dramatically elevated level of CD8+IL-10+/CD8+ cell percentage was found at the feto-maternal interface in NOD/SCID?NOD/SCID, as compared with BALB/c?BALB/c mice, while no significant difference was observed for TNF-? and IL-2 expression in CD4+ and CD8+ cell subsets isolated from these mice. CONCLUSION: The spontaneous elevation of CD8+IL-10+/CD8+ cell percentage at the feto-maternal interface may be related to the roughly normal fertility in NOD/SCID mice.
